Far from an act of piety

London’s planned Holocaust memorial smells of narcissism, cronyism and venality

By Melanie Phillips

Proposed Holocaust memorial, Victoria Tower Gardens

Campaigners against the proposed Holocaust memorial and “learning centre”, which is to be built in Victoria Tower Gardens next to the Houses of Parliament, have launched an appeal in the High Court which starts next week.

Some may be wondering at this 11th-hour challenge. Isn’t building this centre a done deal? Why are people making all this fuss? Surely such a memorial is a good thing?

Israel, Wake Up!

by Victor Rosenthal    October 10, 2021

Hamas has produced a blueprint for “post-liberation Palestine” which describes how they will create the new state of “Palestine” after the Jewish state is destroyed.

It explains how they will variously slaughter, dispossess, or enslave the Jews of Israel, and acquire their property. “This is an issue that requires deep deliberation and a display of the humanism that has always characterized Islam,” they write. Indeed.

My family’s covid story.

T. Belman. I recently received an email screaming about how dangerous the vaccines were  and how forcing them on us  was a violation of the Nuremberg Laws.  The arguments were much too shrill and over the top. So I posted the article today by Cliff Kincaid and this one by an informer of mine who wishes to remain anonymous.

Just an FYI to my Doc and medical clients,

For what it’s worth, my family’s covid story.

My daughter was at a family gathering with a friend’s family and as they were leaving one person said they were really starting to not feel well. Tested positive covid a day or two later. The entire group got it including my daughter who lives with me along with her two kids ages 2 and 6 (due to having to initiate a divorce; this has been really hard for whole family.) and wife and I age 62 (wife with 4 comorbidities; on disability).

Soros’ Cash Helps ‘Flip’ Evangelicals Away from Israel

The listed purpose is “to educate U.S. leaders in faith communities … about the reality on the ground in Palestine/Israel.” In plain terms, that means cooling evangelical fervor for Israel.

By John Aman, WND News Center

He’s Jewish, but George Soros is no friend to Israel. The radical billionaire told the New York Times in 2006 he is “very critical of Israel.”

That’s an understatement. The Israeli government has blasted the deep-pocketed philanthropist and atheist for “funding organizations that defame the Jewish state.” And former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman says Soros has done “more to vilify the state of Israel … than almost any individual on the face of the earth.”

Republicans Dig Their Own Graves

By Cliff Kincaid, AMERICA’S SURVIVAL

The Republicans have the reputation as the stupid party and the debate over mandates for vaccines and masks illustrates this point. Republicans think all the Biden scandals will guarantee Republican victories. They’re fooling themselves.

As the death toll eclipses 700,000, fear of the virus has given the Democrats the lead in the upcoming election in Virginia and could help the Democrats maintain control of Congress in 2022.

Republicans opposing vaccines are digging their own graves, politically and literally. Strangely, Republicans are less likely to recommend getting the vaccines produced by their own president.

Israel’s next religious battle: ‘Customer friendly’ conversions to Judaism

By Judy Maltz, HAARETZ

Sometime before the end of this year, the Knesset will begin discussing a new bill designed to encourage more citizens of the state who are not officially recognized as Jewish to undergo conversions. If passed, it would be the first time Israel has ever introduced legislation governing the thorny issue of conversion – though it would not be the first time it has tried.

The bill, being drafted by Religious Services Minister Matan Kahana, is in the final stages of preparation. The plan is to submit it for approval once the budget is passed in mid-November. Because it was part the coalition agreement signed in June by members of Israel’s current government, the bulk of the conversion bill is already public knowledge.

The greatest danger facing Bennett’s coalition may be the coalition itself

By Yossi Verter, HAARETZ

Anyone who heard Foreign Minister and Alternate Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s speech to his Yesh Atid party’s Knesset caucus meeting this week got the message loud and clear: If anything is imperiling the stability of the governing coalition, it’s the coalition. Five weeks before the deadline for approving the state budget, a sense of complacency had overtaken the ruling parties. The coalition lawmakers seemed to feel that everything was fine, the danger had passed. Things have settled down and the delta wave of the coronavirus pandemic is waning, as are the disagreements over the government’s spending shifts. Despite his renewed quarrels with the Health Ministry, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is projecting a sense of satisfaction. His vaccination booster-shot campaign got the job done.

PM Bennett’s Three No’s To Joe Biden

Standing up to American pressure over Iran.

By Hugh Fitzgerald, FPM

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has reassured settler leaders in the West Bank that he is willing to stand up to American pressure, describing his three “No’s” to President Biden’s requests made at their meeting on August 26. A report on Bennett’s description of his pushback is here: “Bennett tells settlers he said no 3 times to Biden, on Iran, consulate, building,” by Shalom Yerushalmi, Times of Israel, September 27, 2021:

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett recently told settler leaders that he pushed back against United States President Joe Biden on Iran’s nuclear program, the reopening of the American consulate in East Jerusalem, and Israeli settlement building, during his meeting with the American leader at the White House in August.

Barbara Amiel stands by her man, Conrad Black

T. Belman. As it turns out I attended U of Toronto at the same time as Barbara did and at one time dated her brilliant room mate. Her first husband was my classmate in Law School.  So it was natural for me to follow the rise and fall of Conrad Black and Barbara Amiel.  Barbara is a brilliant woman in her own right and maintained an independent career as a journalist.  Both she and her husband were staunch supporters of the Jewish people and Israel. I followed his trial closely and felt that he was being railroaded. He was and is a good friend to Pres Trump who gave him a full pardon while in office.

Baroness Barbara Amiel reveals how ‘noble’ husband Conrad Black told her to leave him when he was sent to prison – and insists he’s the most generous and the least intolerant man’, despite appearing ‘pompous’
  • Baroness Barbara Amiel, 80, discussed husband Conrad Black’s prison sentence
  • Revealed he told her to leave him before his trial and when he was convicted
  • She visited him weekly in Florida and claimed he is a ‘noble’ and ‘generous’ man

Baroness Barbara Amiel has revealed how her ‘noble’ husband Conrad Black told her to leave him when he was sent to prison – and insisted he’s the most generous and the least intolerant man’, despite appearing ‘pompous.’

The 80-year-old and the disgraced press mogul, 77 – who was the former owner of the Daily Telegraph – were once the toast of London and New York society, but became social outcasts after Black was jailed by a U.S. court for fraud and obstruction of justice.

Democrats’ Antisemitism: It’s Not Just the Squad, it’s the Entire Party

By Laureen Lipsky, AM THINKER

Democrats claim that “it’s just the Squad,” but it is time to say the quiet part out loud. From remaining silent on the antisemitic Iran Deal to not supporting the U.S. embassy move, to re-instating funding to the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, supporting the antisemitic Black Lives Matter — it’s the whole damn party.

In the Democrat party’s latest unsurprising political stab against Israel, on Sept. 21st, House Democrats voted against funding Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system; $6.3 billion for African refugees remained in place.

Dems double down on election misdeeds

By Lynne Lechter, AM THINKER

Some Republicans roll their eyes regarding Trump’s ongoing efforts to prove claims that massive election fraud won Biden the presidential election. They shouldn’t.  Even if Trump never forces accountability, it is imperative to broadcast vast pushback to perceived Democrat political hijinks.  After all, the corporate media’s focus on Trump’s “mean tweets,” ofttimes  crude objectification of women, incessant bragging, refusal to hew to the DC playbook, and Covid gave them the cover to mostly ignore his systemic greatness.

Trump crashed through the bureaucracy and for a while successfully diminished its reach; then the bureaucracy  viciously smashed back.

Johns Hopkins Doc Says Natural Immunity 27 Times More Effective Than Vaccine

The Biden administration’s refusal to acknowledge the relevance of natural immunity in the fight against COVID-19 has become glaring.

The administration that constantly insists they are following the science is actually engaging in willful blindness.Hell-bent on enforcing their COVID vaccine mandate, they deliberately ignore every scientific study that finds natural immunity to be superior to vaccine immunity. Read more…

Europe’s deadly hypocrisy

Time for Israel’s supporters to remake the cultural weather

By Melanie Phillips

The programme is intended to prevent antisemitism in all its forms, promote Holocaust research, education and remembrance, and initiate programmes to raise awareness about Jewish life and culture in Europe.

As unprecedented billions planned for under-served Arabs, devil’s in the details

Policy makers say massive allocations will go a long way toward solving problems plaguing Arab Israeli communities. But some ask whether throwing money at the issue will be enough

When a five-year, NIS 10 billion investment in Arab communities was announced in 2016, Arab Israelis hoped the money, some $3.8 billion in 2016 dollars, would help end the persistent gaps between Arabs and Jews in Israel.

But much of the funding remained trapped under red tape, or worse, in the hands of organized crime rackets. Now, the government — spurred by the first Arab Israeli party to ever sit in a coalition — is pushing ahead with a plan that will more than triple that once unprecedented sum.

Feeble Joe? Exposing Biden’s insidious destruction of Israel

Opening a PA Consulate in Jerusalem is intended to undue Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital

By Eugene Kontorovich, ISRAEL HAYOM

The Biden administration is trying to partially undo one of Israel’s greatest diplomatic achievements of recent decades — the recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over all of Jerusalem by the United States, followed by numerous other countries. The good news is unlike with many diplomatic attacks, the Israeli government has the power to stop this one. The United States is pushing to open up a new diplomatic office in Jerusalem — one that would be directed to the Palestinian Authority. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem already provides consular services to the Palestinians. It is unheard of for a country to have an independent consulate in the same city where it already has an embassy. The point of creating a separate consulate is to undermine former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem. But under international law, the United States would need Israel’s permission for this move.

Analysis: In our midst – the dangers of evangelical antisemitism

Roughly three hundred organizations in Israel are dedicated to converting Jews to a belief in Jesus.

By Don Uslan, VisionMag.org

Analysis: In our midst – the dangers of evangelical anti-Semitism

“Antisemitism.” We are almost numb to the word.Volumes of books, news and social media, headlines and talking heads have informed us about the Oldest Hatred. For me, simply put, anti-Semitism is the effort to prevent Jews from being Jews, in whatever shape or form we come in. Prevention of Jewish peoplehood and Jewish identity by intimidation, exclusion, physical violence, politically correct speech, threats of death, murder and by confusion and seduction.

“Confusion and Seduction”?

Ivermectin – Truth and Totalitarianism

THE DESERT REVIEW

Calling out the lie

“Merck stock surged 10% Friday after it said its investigational pill cuts the risk of hospitalization and death in COVID-19 patients…The pill reduced the risk of hospitalization or death by about 50%,” Merck and its partner, Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, said in a statement Friday.

“This is a phenomenal result. This is a profound game-changer to have an oral pill that had this kind of effect, this magnitude of effect in patients who are at high risk who are already symptomatic,” former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said Friday on CNBC about results of the interim analysis.

Who is Really Running the Destroy-America Biden Regime?

By Joan Swirsky, ©2021 (Oct. 7, 2021) —

“Guilty as hell, free as a bird—America is a great country.” Bill Ayers, Weather Underground founder

“The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.” George Soros, hedge-fund billionaire.

In today’s chaotic political landscape, it is obvious that the Democrat Party in power is comprised largely of far-left radicals, many of them shockingly anti-American and predictably anti-Semitic  (as are all deranged leftists).

Despicable louts

There are lines that are not crossed. Civilized humans do not cross them. Unless they are “Woke.” Op-ed.

By Rabbi Prof. Dov Fischer, INN

There is an expression in rabbinic literature: Mitzvah goreret Mitzvah; Aveirah goreret Aveirah. One who habitually does good deeds finds that opportunities arise in his or her life orbit to do even more good deeds. And one who sins with frequency finds that somehow more sins come his or her way.

With each new societal outrage, each breakdown in Western core civilization, yet even newer and more obscene outrages arise. Did you see video of the disgusting animals who recently followed United States Senator Kyrsten Sinema into a bathroom, shouting at her from the other side of her toilet stall? What civilized person does that?
