You can talk for a long time about what we learned from the Holocaust, but there is one proposition that stands out as important to the Jewish people today:

In response to an existential threat, we cannot depend on other nations for help. Nor can we simply place our fate in the hands of God. Survival depends on our actions in the temporal sphere.

During the Holocaust, even the most enlightened liberal nations turned away ships full of Jewish refugees. American and British bombers flew past Auschwitz in 1944 to bomb a chemical plant 6 km away. The US did not even fill limited immigration quotas from Germany and German-occupied countries immediately before the war. The British issued the MacDonald White Paper in 1939, when it was more than clear that the Jews had no future in Europe, shutting the door to Mandatory Palestine tight; and even after the end of the war fought tooth and nail to prevent the immigration of Jewish refugees there.

Iraqi authorities announced on Sunday that they had issued warrants for the arrest of two Iraqis who addressed a conference calling for their country to make peace with Israel. The authorities said they would arrest all 300-plus participants once they have established who they are.

The over 300 Iraqis gathered on Friday in Erbil, in Iraq’s Kurdistan region, to issue statements backing normalization with Israel. The conference was organized by the Center for Peace Communications, a New York-based group that advocates closer ties between Israel and the Arab world.

Following the Arizona audit and recount in Maricopa County, the public is constantly told the big lie is that there wasn’t any fraud, or reason to question anything about the 2020 election. It’s as if many state bureaucrats didn’t willfully violate state laws when they changed election rules. No one should even question universal mail-in voting or states stopping the counting on election night for no reason, along with the specter of seeing counting resuming and the the vote-count leader switching. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Saturday evening spoke with senior Health Ministry officials, advising them of what their next steps should be in managing the coronavirus pandemic.

Responding to the Health Ministry’s demand that restrictions be reimposed to prevent hospitals from becoming more overwhelmed, Bennett said: “There is no connection between restricting a performance or a basketball game and infections among the unvaccinated. It will only cause economic damage.”

Doug Logan began his analysis at around 5 p.m. EST. He reviewed the measures he and his team used to ensure that the audit was comprehensive and secure from top to bottom. Many of the counters were local volunteers performing their inspections to favor accuracy over speed—one of the reasons the audit took several months.

The volunteers examined the paper at a granular level, with microscopes to identify paper fibers, indicating the type of paper used. Over 140 terabytes of data for the paper examination alone.

Logan said that the current completed information included in the report includes hand counts, image capture, review and analysis of voter rolls. Not included today are the Splunk Logs and data from the routers. Additionally, paper analysis needs to be completed. He said the record-keeping for the audit was poor.
