The end of Critical Race Theory

By Gamaliel Isaac, AM THINKER

Critical Race Theory is liable to end for reasons very similar to the reasons the Salem witch trials ended.

In January 1692, nine-year-old Elizabeth (Betty) Parris and 11-year-old Abigail Williams (the daughter and niece of Samuel Parris, minister of Salem Village) began having fits, including violent contortions and uncontrollable outbursts of screaming. After a local doctor, William Griggs, diagnosed bewitchment, other young girls in the community began to exhibit similar symptoms.

A special court, the court of Oyer and Terminer convened in Salem to hear the cases; and based on spectral evidence the first convicted witch, Bridget Bishop, was hanged that June. Eighteen others followed Bishop to Salem’s Gallows Hill, while some 150 more men, women, and children were accused over the next several months.

Leftwing Jewish groups Come to Defense of Antisemitic Muslim Nominated by ‘Biden’

By Gabriel Greschler, Jewish Weekly |

The American Jewish Committee and two figures in the Bay Area Jewish community have come out in defense of a nominee for a federal position who has been accused by GOP lawmakers of holding anti-Israel sentiments.

Dilawar Syed was nominated March 3 by President Joe Biden to be deputy administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration. If confirmed, he would become the highest ranking Muslim American in the Biden administration.

Who are the real colonizers in the Israel-Palestinian conflict?

Rather than condemning Israel, progressives in the West who recoil at “settler colonial projects” should embrace the Jewish state as an example of decolonization.

By James Sinkinson, JNS

Israel’s enemies have accused it of many outlandish transgressions over its 73 years. It has been called an offspring of Nazi Germany, a socialist outpost, a “Crusader nation” and an apartheid state. The Palestinian Arabs and their Western apologists happily appropriate the latest fad terminology describing something evil and attach it to the Jewish state.

One of the most persistent slurs against Israel in recent years, especially among academics, is pinning to it the label of “settler-colonial project” or simply “imperialist state.”

Like almost all the slanders against Israel, this one has a zero factual basis.

Bennett more American than Netanyahu as PM? – why it matters

Only three PMs out of 13 have lived in US for extensive periods – Meir, Netanyahu, and Bennett.

By TOVAH LAZAROFF, JPOST JULY 12, 2021

PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Education Minister Naftali Bennet (photo credit: SASSON TIRAM,REUTERS)
Can Prime Minister Naftali Bennett become the new face of Israel to the United States, effectively stripping his predecessor  Benjamin Netanyahu of the unofficial title he has held for almost four decades?

There have been only 13 prime ministers during Israel’s 73-year history.

Only three of them – Golda Meir, Netanyahu and Bennett – had lived in the US for extensive periods, including as children.

Arab Reactions to the New Israeli Government

By July 11, 2021

Mansour Abbas, Raam politician in the new Israeli government coalition, image via Twitter @MansourAbbas

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Arab states and their leaders do not treat Israel as they treat other countries. This includes even simple greetings on the occasion of a new government’s being installed. The main reason is the sympathy the Palestinian issue enjoys on the street in those nations, though the leaders themselves largely despise the Palestinians. The ascent of a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated politician to the ruling coalition in Israel attracted much more interest in the Arab press than the ascent of Naftali Bennett to the PM position.

It is no surprise that Arab leaders can be very touchy on the subject of Israel. Consider, for example, the recent visit of the new UAE ambassador to Israel, Muhammad Mahmoud Khaja, to Rabbi Shalom HaCohen. The blessing given by the rabbi to the ambassador made headlines around the world, but the Arabic press called it the “scandal of the century.”

 By Hezki Baruch , INN   Jul 11 , 2021 8:28 PM

????? ??????

At the request of the United Arab List (Ra’am) party, the government this evening (Sunday) approved the transfer of the senior branch of economic and social development in the Bedouin sector and the Bedouin Development and Settlement Authority from the Ministry of Economy to the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Services.

The move comes as part of a coalition agreements signed prior to the formation of the government. The Ra’am party announced this morning it would not be voting according to coalition demands until the move was enacted. In wake of the threat, Prime Minister Bennett decided to bring the issue before a vote.

Ivy League University President Insists Critical Race Theory’s ‘Scholarship’ Is ‘Urgent and Necessary’

By Alex Parker, RED STATE | Jul 10, 2021 6:00 PM ET

John Minchillo

We’re at war over Critical Race Theory.

That seems a reasonable conclusion, as forces presently fight for and against the ideology.

While legislatures move to ban CRT, academia and industry are increasingly embracing it (see “College President Claims ‘Critical Race Theory Is the New Communism,’ Means It as a Compliment“)

What We Can Do About It

by Victor Rosenthal    July 11, 2021

Last week I explained How They Did It, how the enemies of Israel – the Arabs, the Soviets, the international Left, and others – turned much of the West against us. What can we do about it?

I concentrated on the ‘softer’ aspects of cognitive warfare, such as the infiltration of higher education and international organizations like NGOs and UN agencies, corporations, the use of social media, the exploitation of minorities with grievances, and the support of public antisemites (e.g., Ilhan Omar). But we should keep in mind that more kinetic actions can also have primarily cognitive objectives. The PLO’s European terrorism during the 1970s paved the way for its conversion from a gang of despicable terrorists into a member of the UN, and for murderer and thief Yasser Arafat to become a “statesman.” The 9/11 attacks against the US changed the media portrayal of its Arab and Muslim citizens from “billionaires, bombers, and belly dancers” to hardworking citizens who are targets for islamophobic hatred (this is not the case with Jews, despite the fact that Jews are far more likely to be the victims of hate crimes today).

Israel vows to keep razing terrorists’ homes, as victim’s father pans US rebuke

Israel won’t stop demolishing homes of accused terrorists to appease Washington, a minister said Saturday, as the father of a terror victim expressed “shock” at the recent US criticism of the razing of his son’s killer’s home.

“We are doing what’s good for the State of Israel,” Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel of the New Hope party told the Kan public broadcaster.

Mathematical Challenges to Darwin’s Theory of Evolution

Prof David Nussbaum. If you want to enjoy an intellectual workout that perhaps will challenge some of your basic assumptions about the universe, this is a good way to spend an hour.

Interestingly, near the end, Professor Gelernter (Computer Science, Yale) observes that despite the entirely scientific nature of the arguments raised showing the inability of Darwin’s theory to account for origins, rather that fine-tuning of species, the push-back from his colleagues was highly emotional, ad hominem and did not address the scientific issues (e.g., lack of sufficient time, missing predicted fossil records, top-down rather than bottom-up nature of communicating systems.)

It would appear that there is now an ideological component to Darwinisn, and anyone attacking it is dealt with in very much like someone attacking some religions during medieval times or attacking favoured ideologies at the ptesent. Regardless, an interesting and enlightening conversation.

Marxist, Extremist Support for Palestinian Terrorism Leads to Jew-Hate Throughout West

by Guy Millière, GATESTONE INSTITUTE

  • For decades, most articles on the Middle East have portrayed Israel in a negative light, not as a democracy under constant threat. Willfully or not, they promote Jew-hate. Hamas is often described as a “Palestinian militant group,” almost never as a terrorist organization.
  • Israel completely withdrew from Gaza in 2005. All the same, Israel is accused of imposing a “blockade” on the coastal strip — without a mention that everything necessary for the residents of Gaza is allowed, or that what is being blockaded are deadly weapons. Also never mentioned is the extreme brutality of Hamas operatives towards their own residents of Gaza, who are all Arabs, or that the Palestinian Authority still supports and finances terrorism. The Palestinian Authority’s rewards and incentives for murdering Jews are also always left out.

The Scarlet ‘E’ (Extremist)

We’ve already learned that all of us—with the exception of our rulers—are racists, sexists, etc. That’s a valuable lesson because it means, effectively, these accusations are substantively empty.

By

Asking Americans to label one another “extremists” is the most ruinous thing that the woke oligarchy’s malevolent morons are doing to our country. They mean to criminalize insufficient deference to themselves. But a bit of courage is all it takes to expose their demand’s transparent absurdity.

Guidance comes from what happened in Denmark under Nazi occupation, 1940-1943. The Nazis, having demanded that Danish Jews be forced to wear a yellow star in public, so goes the story, were startled to find that Danish King Christian X put on the star. His subjects having done the same, and everyone having designated himself a Jew, there were no Jews. Only Danes. The Nazis had no way of discriminating against anyone.

New Evidence Indicates Enough Illegal Votes In Georgia To Tip 2020 Results

By: Margot Cleveland, EPOCH TIMES, July 9, 2021:

New evidence indicates that more than 10,300 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — a number that will continue to rise over the next several months, potentially exceeding the 12,670 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

While this evidence does not change the fact that Joe Biden is our president, all Americans who genuinely care about free and fair elections and the disenfranchisement of voters should demand both transparency and solutions to prevent a repeat in future elections. This evidence also vindicates former President Trump and his legal team for the related public (and private) comments and legal arguments made in challenging the Georgia election results.

France Learns about Islam’s 1,400 Year Assault

By Raymond Ibrahim, AM THINKER

Raymond Ibrahim’s 2018 book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West, was recently translated into French and published in France.  In connection, Arnaud Imatz of the French website La Nef, interviewed him. An abbreviated, English version of that interview follows:

The American Raymond Ibrahim has just published a fascinating and erudite history of the centuries-old conflicts between Islam and Christianity: L’épée et le cimeterre (Jean-Cyrille Godefroy Editions). This book is the almost exhaustive account of the fourteen centuries of antagonisms and fights, major or minor, which took place…. A historian, linguist and philologist, and a specialist in oriental languages, Ibrahim has methodically exploited first-hand sources, both Muslim and “Western”, and has consulted numerous manuscripts from the Library of Congress in Washington. His book is not only a detailed chronicle of the battles, it is also and above all a rigorous analysis of the intentions and strategies of the various warring leaders. Ibrahim shows that the Muslim forces were essentially obeying a religious, messianic, expansionist, conquering logic, whereas the Christian armies wanted above all to recover territories that for centuries had been Roman, Greek and Christian. He also shows that the religious fervor of today’s Islamists overlaps exactly with ancestral Islamic dogmas, that Western reactions are 1400-year-old self-defense mechanisms, and that current rivalries are the reflection of a very old existential struggle. We interviewed him for La Nef.

Dems are panicking over the planned forensic audit of the Pennsylvania 2020 presidential election

By Thomas Lifson, AM THINKER

This is quite a coincidence: 2 days after Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano announced that the committee he heads was preparing a forensic audit of the 2020 presidential election, the White House announced a trip to Pennsylvania by President Biden “to deliver remarks on actions to protect the sacred constitutional right to vote.”

Sundance at CTH comments:

The stakes are just too high to allow the Senate in Pennsylvania to conduct a 2020 election audit; and all prior corrupt activity must be protected and maintained.  As a direct result the White House is announcing the people behind Joe Biden are immediately dispatching all federal resources to Philadelphia to begin the war against Pennsylvania voters.

Biden Must Abandon Nuclear Negotiations with Iran

by Con Coughlin, GATESTONE INSTITUTE  •  July 10, 2021

  • The latest report by the International Monetary Fund makes especially grim reading for the Iranian regime, as it shows the country’s foreign reserves have collapsed from around $140 billion in 2015 to just $4 billion today.
  • Iran’s perilous economic state has, unsurprisingly, prompted nationwide protests at the regime’s gross mismanagement of the economy.
