Who’s Really Putting All the Troops on the Streets Of D.C.?

T. Belman.  This is what I said yesterday.

Pres Trump is the Commander in Chief in charge of the National Guard in D.C.

National Guard Troops Stationed at US Capitol Have Been Cleared to Use Lethal Force

They are there to stop the insurrection and Biden’s inauguration and any ensuing riots.

by Brian Cates, UNCOVER DC

Washington D.C. is being locked down as a staggering number of military troops and law enforcement personnel are stationed throughout the city in the week leading up to the next Presidential Inauguration on Wednesday, January 20th. At last count, the number of military troops had ballooned up to 26,000, which is quite an impressive show of force. And the number of troops in the city might climb even higher by the time the next President takes the oath of office.

The media seems to believe the Mayor of D.C. or Democrats in the government are the ones flooding the streets of Washington with what amounts to well over 2 brigades of troops, many of whom are armed and able to use lethal force. They’re wrong. Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser publicly released a letter on January 5 when the number of troops and federal units deployed to the nation’s capital was much smaller than it is now.

Texas AG Announces Arrest of Woman for Alleged Shocking Voter Fraud Crimes

By C. Douglas Golden, WESTERN JOURNALISM . January 15, 2021

Yes, voter fraud exists. It just usually doesn’t look like what many of us imagine it to be.

Our minds always drift off to visions that have a Hollywood-tinged aspect to them. Hacked machines switching our choices. Arcane, Rube Goldberg-like plans that Hans Gruber would be proud of. Foreign interference.

More likely, however, it takes the form of what a Texas woman allegedly did.

As Iran edges toward a bomb, an Israeli preemptive strike is more likely

With no appetite in the US for military confrontation, Israel may opt to hit nuclear installations before Tehran achieves nuclear capacity

The Iranian government announced on January 4 that it had resumed enriching uranium to 20 percent, in a significant move that can shorten Iran’s time to develop a nuclear bomb. In just a few days, on January 20, Joe Biden starts his presidency intent on negotiating a new nuclear deal with Iran. While the American posture towards Iran is not clear yet, its chances of achieving an agreement that could allay Israeli fears of Iran’s nuclear potential are slim. The developments in Tehran and in Washington make an Israeli preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear installations more probable.

Pres Trump is the Commander in Chief in charge of the National Guard in D.C.

https://wamu.org/story/21/01/11/dc-national-guard-deployment-capitol-delay/

What exactly is the National Guard?

The National Guard is the U.S. military’s domestic force. Each state, the District and Puerto Rico have their own National Guard units. Troops have occasionally been called upon to serve overseas, as they were in Iraq and Afghanistan after the Sept. 11 attacks. But their main mission is at home. The largest such effort was to help the Gulf states after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Members traditionally serve one weekend a month — unless called upon by their state, local or federal government for emergency assistance. More than 2,700 soldiers and airmen make up the District of Columbia’s National Guard.

A president for all Americans who think like him

Fears for freedom and justice under a Democrat administration are already proving justified

Melanie Phillips

Even before the transfer of power in America due on January 20, it’s already horribly clear that fears for the future of freedom and justice under a Democrat administration, with the broader forces of the left now unconstrained, are justified.

Most attention is understandably being directed at the clampdown on free speech by big tech after last week’s Capitol riot, and on the determination of Speaker Nancy Pelosi et al to impeach President Trump for a second time over his behaviour on that awful day.

Trump Declassifies ‘Foot-High’ Stack Of Russiagate, Obamagate Documents; Set For Release Within Days

Trump declassifying trove of FBI memos exposing Steele’s motivations, ties to impeachment witness

Once-secret documents will show Steele told FBI he leaked Russia collusion narrative to counteract Clinton email scandal.

By John Solomon, JUST THE NEWS

Delivering in his final days on one of his last unfulfilled promises, President Trump is declassifying a massive trove of FBI documents showing the Russia collusion story was leaked in the final weeks of the 2016 election in an effort to counteract Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. The memos to be released as early as Friday include FBI interviews and human source evaluation reports for two of the main informants in the Russia case, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele and academic Stefan Halper.

The president authorized the release of a foot-high stack of internal FBI and DOJ documents that detail significant flaws in the investigation and provide a detailed timeline of when the FBI first realized the Steele dossier was problematic, multiple government officials told Just the News.

The Interests Behind the Saudi-Qatar Rapprochement

By , BESA     January 15, 2021

Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman greets Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, image via Twitter

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Behind the ending of the dispute between the two Gulf States stands an intense fear of Iran as well as American pressure to renew diplomatic ties. Israel must bear in mind that ties with the Gulf States are not etched in stone.

The year 2021 began with refreshing news: after three years of a diplomatic and economic boycott of Qatar accompanied by a land blockade, Saudi Arabia and Qatar will be signing an agreement that will bring the dispute to an end. The agreement was reached with the help of the American negotiating team of Jared Kushner, Avi Berkowitz, Adam Buehler, and Brian Hook.

Executive Order on Amending Executive Order 13959– January 13, 2021>

President Donald Trump has signed an order strengthening a November ban on U.S. investments in alleged Chinese military companies, the White House said on Wednesday, curbing Chinese access to U.S. capital markets days before he leaves office.

Under the amended directive, by Nov. 11, 2021, U.S. investors will be required to have completely divested their holdings of securities of companies designated by the Defense Department as owned or controlled by the Chinese military.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code,

Trump, Giuliani now at odds. So says Wash Post

President reportedly refusing to pay legal fees to his lawyer Rudy Giuliani over failed efforts to challenge election results.

Arutz Sheva Staff,  Jan 14 , 2021

Donald Trump

Outgoing US President Donald Trump is disappointed with his lawyer Rudy Giuliani and is unwilling to pay him the fee for his efforts to legally overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

According to a report in the Washington Post, the close relationship between Trump and Giuliani has cooled recently after the president was shocked by his lawyer’s demand of paying $20,000 a day for representing Trump and his demand for the cancellation of the election results in several states.

Sheldon Adelson: Rags to Riches

By Larry Greenfield, JEWISH JOURNAL

In an astonishing life that spanned almost nine decades, Sheldon Adelson rose from Depression-era poverty to become a business mogul who made his fortune, in part, by breaking into Communist China; a casino legend who didn’t particularly enjoy gambling; and an American conservative political donor who prioritized, above all, his commitment to Israel.

Fiercely determined in his pursuit of business success, political principles and wide-ranging (but consistently focused) philanthropy, Adelson was the ultimate battler. With many fans and many critics, he won far more than he lost.
