The U.S. Trump administration has outlined a new proposal to end the Gaza war and secure the release of all Israeli hostages, an unnamed affiliated source told CNN.

How lovely was the coincidence in the week of the New Year between Pope Donald’s papal bull forbidding the Jews from owning and ruling in the heart of the Holyland, Samaria and Judea, with the weekly Torah reading, Deuteronomy Chapter 31, that begins with Moses in his last hours charging the people camping on the east bank, with the command to be strong and brave in crossing the river to conquer the Canaanites. How charming the coincidence between this weekly reading and Pope Donald’s edict betraying the Jewish people by denying them the right to the identical real estate Moses had in mind.
Peloni: As Europeans recognize a second Palestinian state, and Israel’s Arab allies join with her enemies to demand Israel continue to accept the PA as a peace partner, what is clear has always been clear, to us and them, that the only objective which the terrorist PA has for the future is to see the state of Israel destroyed, and her people slaughtered, raped and enslaved. There is no defense for any of these states to pretend the obvious consequence of what they are demanding. Indeed, the pernicious attitude demonstrated by one and all of these actors, that Israel should submit (there is that word again) to continue entertaining such a threat as pretending the Two State Solution has any outcome other than to expand the October 7 slaughter to a national scale simply exposes their malicious intentions for the Jewish people. Hence, the threat of losing the Abraham Accords, to which Trump was obviously reacting in his forbidding Israel’s extension of sovereignty, can simply hold no value in the wake of such a malicious requirement of Europe and the Arab states. Israel must accept that it has both the legal right and the national need to extend sovereignty to Judea and Samaria, and then simply do so.

Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund just took a $500 million bite out of Canada’s mining industry. On September 17, Ivanhoe Mines announced that the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) invested that amount to acquire about 4 percent of the Vancouver-based company. The “strategic investment” will support Ivanhoe Mines “in finding, developing, and sustainably supplying the critical minerals essential to the global energy transition and advanced technology applications,” said QIA CEO Mohammed Said Al-Sowaidi.

The controversy over Tucker Carlson’s antisemitic remarks at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on September 21, 2025, demands answers to two foundational and separate questions:
Peloni: Even the best of friends have distinct perspectives, but on the ownership of Judea, Samaria and Gaza, it is entirely unfounded to claim that Israel does not have the right to extend sovereignty over these lands which are Jewish Lands. What is more is that the manner and tone in which Trump made his demeaning and humbling comment on this topic was certainly devoid of the deep respect and friendship of Israel for which he has exemplified over the years. In fact, his comments were not just devoid of justification, but were made without any regard to the fact that they were unjustified. Notably, following months of Israel threatening its own unilateral action with regards to extending sovereignty over Judea and Samaria as a response to the unilateral moves of declarations of recognition of a second Arab Palestinian state (Jordan is the true Arab Palestinian State), Trump chose to relay his fiat against Israel’s right to do so only after the declarations of Palestinian statehood had been made by the Engalnd, France, etc. Furthermore, Amb. Huckabee made it clear that the Europeans had given “the Green Light” for Israel to do so, making Trump’s declarative statement to the contrary all the more extreme, incomprehensible and damaging to its only true ally in the region.

President Trump last night declared that he would not allow Israel to “annex the West Bank.” Some people are angry. Some are extremely disappointed. Personally? I’m not surprised and definitely not worried.
Peloni: On September 26, Mark Levin appeared on FOX News to deliver a fiery commentary about Israel and its ongoing wars. He argued that Israel is not only fighting for its own survival but also for the broader principles of freedom and security in the Middle East. Levin criticized groups like Hamas and their supporters, saying they are emboldened by what he called “reprobates” in the international community. He also pressed the urgency of releasing hostages and emphasized that Israel faces immense pressure while defending itself.
Peloni: The election of Mamdani, which is accepted as a near forgone conclusion by nearly all, will spell the greatest victory of the Red-Green axis in the US since Obama’s election. Is this really what New Yorkers want?

It is hard to believe at this late date, but there are still people out there who trust the establishment media and rely on it for accurate news. Yet the establishment media continues to go from bad to worse, becoming ever more obviously a propaganda organ for the hard left. Now the Associated Press (AP), which like so many others was once a reliable news source and today is a source for little, if anything more than Democrat Party talking points, has published a lengthy defense of Zohran Mamdani, the Twelver Shi’ite Marxist who is very likely the next mayor of New York. He really isn’t as bad as Orange Man Bad and the other evil right-wingers say, you see.

On Wednesday, August 27, Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu said he recognizes the genocide of other peoples – Assyrians, Greeks – and the big one, the Armenian Genocide which official Israel never has since 1948 because Turkey was one of the first countries to recognize the Jewish state, and for decades to come, the relationship was good; business, tourism (albeit one way); thousands of Israelis every year vacationing in Antalya and touring Istanbul.

Peloni: Microsoft has disabled part of its services which are employed by the Israeli military and intelligence services to combat Jihadi radicals in Gaza and Judea and Samaria. The attempt to use civilian restrictions to block war time applications of this software is as rudimentarily baseless and inexplicably malicious as suggesting that war casualties should be treated as murder.

I recently learned of Great Britain’s upcoming nasty treatment of Israel as reported in the above link. This is simply the latest episode of such troubling behavior.
What immediately comes to mind is the outrageous double standards and hypocrisy that Great Britain, which conquered lands and peoples more than any other empire in recorded history, is displaying towards Jews who, while having undergone several unfortunate exiles in their own 4,000 year old, substantially corroborated and recorded history, have finally returned to—the ancestral lands of their Patriarchs and Matriarchs…Eretz Yisrael, including at least a substantial part of Judaea and Samaria.
