Should America Pull out of the United Nations?

An Historic Conference about the Demonization of Israel at the UN that Has Not Been Covered by the Mainstream Media

Dr Phyllis Chesler

I once worked at the United Nations and have vowed that someday I will write about what a soul-scorching experience it was—especially for someone who was and still is a white Jewish-American feminist and Zionist. I had to absorb the most virulent, almost surreal hatred because of who I am and for the views that I hold. This happened long before I was perceived to have crossed any political aisle.

At the time, when I tried to tell people about this, few wanted to understand. The UN diplomat’s dining room was so elegant, the parties and social circles so colorful and so career-building that even radical feminists did not want to understand that the tyrants and mediocrities that dominated the UN would never, ever police themselves and that sexism, racism, poverty, and even genocide would remain unchecked by this corrupt international body.

Friends: This was twenty-seven years ago and matters have only gotten worse. The United Nations has been effective in only one matter. It has increasingly legalized Jew-hatred by its demonization of Israel.

This past Sunday, a major conference on this very subject was held in New York City. Unfortunately, at the last moment, I could not attend it. To the best of my knowledge, only two articles about this conference have so far appeared: In the Jerusalem Post HERE and on the internet website War to Mobilize Democracy (WMD) HERE. However, journalist Fern Sidman, who wrote the WMD piece, has sent me an extended version of her piece which I have posted HERE.

Please understand that powerful figures spoke at this conference, including former American Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, Senator Norman Coleman, and Congressman Thaddeus McCotter.

I share Congressman McCotter’s view that both the United States and Israel, who pay the largest amount of money to the UN, should pull out of it and form a new alliance of democracies, or as McCotter suggests, a “Liberty Alliance.” I know, there are other views that claim that the humanitarian work done by the UN justifies even the corrupt political hierarchy and that Israel must continue seeking a group that will allow her to join them; currently, Israel is not allowed to be part of either the Middle East or European group and is therefore a permanent non-member of the Security Council.

Let me congratulate Herb London and Anne Bayefsky who hosted this conference and who have continued to work on this important subject.

Dear Readers: What do you think? Should America leave the United Nations? If not, what chance do you think America has of reforming this body? And if you think it has absolutely no chance—what is your thinking about why we should still remain a dues-paying member? Do you want your taxes going to support non-intervention in Darfur and the demonization of Israel?

  1. The U.N. promotes death while saying it is for life. Beside Ruwanda and the Aids crises in Africa, see W.H.O. Murdered Africa. Its population control agenda isn’t just limited to homosexuals, blacks and browns. Google for “population control quotes” and see what the globalists say. Their announced agenda:

    1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
    2. Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.
    3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
    4. Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.
    5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
    6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
    7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
    8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
    9. Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.
10.Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.

Limiting the population of the earth to 500 million will require the extermination of nine-tenths of the world’s people. … Link

Further, the globalists who have taken over the U.S. want the U.S. in the U.N. so “we” aren’t going to pull out even though “we” should.

If you do a search of the Bible for “all nations” such as in “all nations shall come against Israel” you will see that in many instances you can substitute “the U.N.” for “all nations.” You could even change the color to UN-blue. The U.N. is the epitome of the “UNgodly nations” written of in the Bible and they are against Jews and Christians even though they profess to be so loving and kind. The U.N. coupled with the other globalists may indeed be the Fourth Beast of Daniel Chapter 7.

Joe 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Zec 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Isa 34:2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

    Fourth Beast:

Da 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Da 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

  2. This sounds like a coffee club/parlor room conversation.

Dr Phyllis Chesler DID NOT absorb” the most virulent, … hatred”. She is still in life as proof.

Elegant dining rooms and parties are not the exclusive province of the UN and other diplomatic venues – nor are they the most elegant.

Is the UN that different than the League of Nations ? Without the UN would Israel not be demonized ? If the UN pronounced a General Asembly “Zionism is Racism”, would not the results be predictable ?

I recall Congresswoman Bella Abzug was active in the UN’s International Womens Conferences. I recall a “Womens Strike for Peace”. Perhaps Phyllis Chesler sought employment with the wrong organization.

The 3 named political personalities are not “powerful”.

UN NYC serves as a good observation post/listening post for the USG. On balance it assists the USG – and also the Manhattan 5 star restaurant trade.

    UN Geneva does also.
