The dogs were located by teams of the Israel Defense Forces’ Home Front Command.
The Bat Yam Municipality reportedly took custody of the two puppies, which appeared to be mixed breed Labrador retrievers, and evacuated them for initial medical treatment while trying to locate the owners who may still be under rubble.

Nine people were killed when the apartment building in the suburb just south of Tel Aviv sustained a direct hit from an Iranian ballistic missile. Tragically a 4-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy were among those killed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the scene to express condolences and said, “I am here because the nation is in an existential battle, which today is understood by every citizen of Israel.”
“Think about what would happen if Iran had a nuclear weapon to drop on Israeli cities. Think about what would happen if Iran had 20,000 such missiles. An existential threat to Israel.”
Regrettably Islam considers dogs to be filthy animals and are treated very badly. It is heartwarming to know that even as Iranian rockets are falling upon the Israeli population, men, women and children are being rescued, but so are dogs, cats and all pets being saved and, of course, shown great love and kindness in the Jewish state.

Heartwarming. Yes, Israelis are kind people, even to animals. There are many stray and homeless cats and dogs in Israeli cities as there are in most big cities throughout the world. But in Israel, they can at least rely on kind people giving them snacks at any outdoor cafe. Also, their being eventually collected by a humane society and offered for adoption.
Thanks, Adam.
