TIERNEY NEWS
One of the world’s biggest ships, called the Ever Green, is stuck sideways in the Suez Canal. No one can pass. An initial report suggested the ship suffered a power blackout before the incident. It is thought the accident happened after the ship’s captain and two Egyptian pilots sent on board to help guide the vessel became blinded during a sandstorm with high winds that sent the vessel off course and caused it to get wedged around 7.45am on Tuesday. Unlikely. It can carry some 20,000 containers at a time. It previously had been at ports in China before heading toward Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
The Ever Given, built in 2018 with a length of nearly 400 meters, or a quarter of a mile, and a width of 193 feet, is among the largest cargo ships in the world. The giant cargo ship wedged across the Suez Canal is blocking shipments worth an estimated $9.5 BILLION per day including food and oil which will have an ‘enormous’ impact on the world economy.
At least 250 ships are now stuck in the logjam caused by 200,000-ton cargo ship. The effect has been felt on world markets as the price of crude oil shot up. But the true cost of the disaster will be far higher as delays to vital goods cause losses at firms around the globe. If the canal cannot be quickly unblocked then shipping firms will have no choice but to route their vessels around the Cape of Good Hope at the tip of Africa – a route that adds 14 days and 5,000 nautical miles to the journey.
That could mean higher prices for goods shipped to Europe from Asia – including cars, construction materials, and coronavirus PPE – as shipping companies increase their charges to cover the cost of taking longer routes. China does NOT route oil through the Suez.
The Suez canal, which is around 120 miles long links the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean and is the shortest shipping route between the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. Before the canal, shipping from Europe either had to go overland or risk going around Cape Horn and the South Atlantic.
The longer the Suez Canal remains stuck, the more attractive China’s Eurasian Land Route (which many Western analysts did not take seriously) and Russia’s Arctic Sea Route will become. China has made incredible investments into the Mediterranean ports along the “Maritime Silk Road” and “Suez Canal.” Interestingly, both routes are largely beyond the reach of the US Navy.
What do I think happened? I think this was done intentionally by the Globalists behind the GREAT RESET to destroy world trade & help the Communists. This is PHASE TWO after COVID.
Looks to me like the GREAT RESET crowd may have sabotaged the container ship to block off the Suez Canal and are working together to make China’s land route & Russia’s Arctic route a better alternative to the Suez canal. Controlling global trade & pushing the US out. Effectively allowing Communist China, Russia & Iran to control global trade routes!
Nothing like shutting down the Suez canal for a few weeks and forcing product to move on other trade routes to make them viable alternatives. Every month it’s shut down means 1% of the world economy tanks. Ever Green hired the largest salvage company in the world, Smit international, to begin preparations to remove the ship which may involve either digging it out, or unloading it, either of which means weeks of closure. The world’s largest container carriers considering sending ships around Africa. Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly fired a missile at an Israeli vessel in the Arabian Sea on its way to India and Taiwan has begun mass production of long-range missiles to deter China’s aggression. They know what’s going on.
