“Israel adds capabilities that America doesn’t have. President Trump finally publicly said a few weeks ago, “I need Netanyahu. I need Israel to destroy Iran once and for all.” And so Israel basically doubles America’s fighting capacity in the Middle East. America is a world superpower with 350 million people. Israel is a little itty-bitty country with 10 million people, and it can double American firepower in the Middle East. The reason is Israel is here. It has about 400 airplanes. America has maybe 200, 100 per aircraft carrier in round numbers. But the big difference, people don’t know this, is American pilots fly one sortie a day on average. Israeli pilots fly three sorties a day. So Israel has 400 planes, but it’s the equivalent of 1,200 planes. America has 200 planes, and it’s the equivalent of 200 planes. So you can see how Israel at least doubles or triples or quadruples or quintuples America’s firepower in the Middle East. That’s number one.
Number two, Israel has more intelligence on Iran than America does. America needs intelligence on 193 countries. Israel is focused on Iran and a handful of countries. So it knows where the bad guys live. It knows what apartment number they live in and where their bedroom is. So Israel is better at getting the bad guys than America is.
And number three, Israel has better electronics than America. Israel has the same planes, the F-35s, the F-16s, F-15s—not the big bombers, but in terms of the normal fighter-bombers. Israel has the planes, but it has its own electronic counter-warfare. So in the last iteration, Israel didn’t lose any planes. Even though it flew as many sorties as America, America lost 15 planes… So Israel has certain unique abilities, and America needs Israel.
