Why does the world protect Hamas?

Eighteen years ago, Israel deported 400 Hamas terrorists and the world forced Israel to take them back.

Sultan Knish has the whole storey.

And now, the world is forcing Israel to lift the blockade. And there have been many such efforts in between.

You might wonder what is going on.

In a nutshell, the world wants to prevent Israel from consolodating its position. Remember that it also insists that nothing be done to prejudice the out come of negotiations.

Its not that they are afraid of Israel, its that they are afraid of Islam.

  1. GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – There are few pleasures left for Gaza’s 1.5 million people, squeezed by both a blockade and Hamas efforts to impose its strict Muslim lifestyle. And women here just lost another one.

Gaza’s Hamas rulers have banned women from smoking water pipes in cafes, sending plainclothes agents through popular beachside spots Sunday to enforce the edict. Some women in the Palestinian territory are grumbling.

“This is silly,” said Haya Ahmed, a 29-year-old accountant who said she has smoked water pipes for 10 years. “We are not smoking in the streets but in restaurants, where only a few people can enter.”

She predicted the ban would actually make water pipes more tempting for rebellious young women. “Everything forbidden becomes desirable. The decision will lead to more smokers,” Ahmed said.

  2. Hello. Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Frank Luntz has an interview where he insists that when people find out about Hamas’ charter, the group even becomes unpopular in England. He says that Israeli leaders can turn the public relations tide by using different language and emphasizing different points. I’m doubtful, but Israeli pr is pretty weak, and as I mentioned in the other post the media is so dishonest. It wouldn’t hurt to give Luntz’ theory a try.
