Peloni: Of course, Ben Gvir is right again. Ironically, Ben Gvir is usually right in the policies he supports, from arming the public, to cracking down on prison amenities for terrorists, to advocating for the death penalty for terrorists, and there is more to add to this list, a lot more.

Ra’am chairman MK Mansour Abbas has no place in Israel’s Knesset to begin with, and neither does his party. It has an alarming history with Muslim Brotherhood and its “sister movement, Hamas” — which is dedicated to the destruction of the Jewish State. The Begin-Sadat Centre for Strategic Studies explains some of Ra’am history, in its article “The Muslim Brotherhood Inside the Israeli Government.“
The Southern Branch’s support for taking part in the Israeli political system was explained in 2006 by Sarsur, then head of the Ra’am Party, who declared, “Our participation in the Knesset elections does not annul our ideology, according to which the rule over the land, or at least over Arab and Muslim land [including what is now the State of Israel], must be Islamic rule under the leadership of a caliph.”
It comes as no surprise, then, that the Southern Branch has expressed open support for the Palestinian “armed struggle against the occupation” in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and for sister-movement Hamas in particular. “We are certain that Hamas will lead the Palestinian people to advancement and to achievements,” declared Sarsur after Hamas’s overwhelming victory in the January 2006 Palestinian parliamentary elections. “The Palestinians elected Hamas so it would lead them to achievements, not disasters, and we think the approach of [PM Ehud] Olmert is aimed at pushing the region into a dark tunnel. The world must honor the decision of the Palestinians.”
Ben-Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit party’s call for Mansour Abbas to be disqualified from running for the Knesset following Abbas’ remarks is long overdue. Those remarks are a reiteration of his party’s true history and its aim of destroying the Jewish state.
Infidels have a proclivity to bend over backwards to prove to the world that they are not “Islamophobic,” even to their own detriment. Muslims make no apologies for whatever they consider necessary to do in order to pursue their expansionist cause.
“’He’s from Muslim Brotherhood’: Otzma Yehudit calls to bar Ra’am MK Abbas from Knesset elections,” by Shir Perets, Jerusalem Post, August 26, 2026:
The demand came following a post shared by Abbas, in which he claimed Arab parties were forced to accept Israel as a Jewish state to avoid being barred from elections, and it was not a choice.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit party called for Ra’am chairman MK Mansour Abbas to be disqualified from running for the Knesset following remarks he made on Wednesday morning, saying Arab parties were forced to accept Israel as a Jewish state to avoid being barred from elections.
“The senior partner of [Naftali] Bennett and [Gadi] Eisenkot in a future government admits that he does not recognize the State of Israel as a Jewish state,” the party’s statement read.
“We would tell you that what he is saying is delusional, but we are not surprised. He is from the Muslim Brotherhood. The delusion is that Eisenkot and Bennett dream every night about how they will form a government with him.”
Abbas’s post was apparently a clarification after criticism over comments he made during an appearance on Channel 12’s “Meet the Press,” where Amit Segal confronted him with previous statements he had made, including his assertion that “Zionist gangs conquered Palestine.”..
