  1. It is no coincidence that this is happening on the eve of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. To be an Israeli one must have nerves of steel which is not always possible. Peace of mind would be nice too. I read in another post that there are only enough gas masks for 40% of the population. Let’s hope they won’t be needed.

  2. It really gets annoying to listen to Republicans suddenly acting as the anti-war party. If the presence of WMD’s in Iraq was justification for going to war there, a war they strongly supported, how can they now argue against striking Syria when we know for certain chemical weapons are present there? Likewise the democrats are now getting behind a military operation in Syria which they opposed in Iraq a decade ago. Again, I’m not advocating involvement in Syria, just musing over the hypocrisy prevalent in Washington.
