Mark Levin opens his Saturday April 25 show by explaining why he is postponing discussion of the Iran war – to address what he views as a more serious and enduring danger: an “internal threat to the United States”. Mark raises attention to the 1838 speech of Abraham Lincoln, which he made at the age of 28 years. In this speech – Lincoln addressed “the perpetuation of our political institutions” – while emphasizing the warning Lincoln made that America’s greatest danger would not come from foreign powers, but rather from within. Lincoln noted that the American Nation’s system of liberty was a legacy from earlier generations that must be preserved, and that he presaged – that if destruction would come to the American nation, it would be self-inflicted, from within. (He was referring to the internecine battle for the Constitution, as fomented by the Democratic Party Apparatchiks back then. and now.)
Mark specifically focused on Lincoln’s concern about lawlessness, mob violence, and the erosion of respect for government, & also legal institutions, noting that such conditions would alienate law-abiding citizens and ultimately weaken the country’s foundations. Lincoln also presented a warning about ambitious individuals, and broader societal forces which could exploit national instability, stressing the need for unity, reason, and – strict adherence to constitutional principles to safeguard the republic for going forward.
Mark then connects these historical warnings to the present, arguing that the “enemy within” as described by Lincoln is now a real and immediate threat. He warned that American society and governing institutions are under grave danger – and questions whether the current generation is even capable of confronting it. He specifically identifies the Democratic Party as the central threat, alleging that it seeks to dismantle constitutional structures by altering the Supreme Court, expanding its membership to advance partisan goals, and undermining its independence. He further noted – that the Party aims to secure permanent political dominance by granting statehood to Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, engaging in gerrymandering, and influencing census outcomes. Additional claims include that the Democrats are encouraging illegal immigration to shift political representation, attempting to abolish and/or circumvent the Electoral College, and seeking to eliminate the Senate filibuster to pass legislation unchecked.
(Note – the census for the the Electoral College uses the number of persons in a unit, rather than bona fide American Citizens. That is insanity for today.)
Mark went on to chastise the Democrats of abusing constitutional mechanisms, such as impeachment to weaken political opponents, particularly Donald Trump, and further explained that this as an effort to disenfranchise voters. He expands his warning to include what he describes as a “Marxist Islamist Alliance”, influencing the Democratic Party, alleging that this coalition drives hostility toward Israel, Jews, and evangelical Christians, and aligns with US adversaries. He further criticizes elements he calls the “woke right” and the media, claiming that they work in tandem with these forces, to undermine the president, conservatives, and the country’s political and cultural institutions. Throughout, he frames these developments as an unprecedented internal threat which is concomitant comparable to Lincoln’s warnings, asserting that failure to recognize and confront it could lead to the erosion or destruction of the American constitutional system – which would portend the erosion of America over time (which is NOW).
In the second segment Mark spoke with GOP US Senator Rick Scott of Florida, continuing on the subject of political support for national instability, by focusing on the Democratic Party’s celebration for momentary successes by the Iranians, while the US is now engaged in a military contest with the terrorist regime in that country. Mark raises the example of the radical Islamist supporter Hasan Piker – who has notoriously received open support from the Democrats – as he celebrates 9-11 and October 7 – and openly calls for the murder of Sen. Scott, himself. Senator Scott listed the current lunacy.
In the third segment, Mark’s interview with Josh Hammer of the Josh Hammer Show, was eerily interrupted with the news of the latest attempt on the life of President Trump during the annual Celebration of Free Speech in the USA. The shooter was caught. It was the only news thereafter.

The timing of Mark’s Program addressing the enemy from within is both poignant and disturbing. However, it demonstrates the palpable nature of the enormous animus being fomented by the Radical Left in America against the governing body and institutions of the American gov’t, as well as its elected chief executive, President Trump. Calls for political violence is not free speech, and during a time of war, such calls should be ever more highlighted for proscription if not prosecution. Instead, the Left who have promoted the use of political violence in America, are now promoting the claim that this latest attempt on the life of their president was staged. Naturally, their anti-MAGA allies who claim to be on the Right – such as former Rep. – Marjorie Taylor Green and her ilk, are now supporting this attempt to diminish the reality that America is caught in a very grave situation in which the political opposition is openly supporting unlawful political violence and sedition – as the means by which to harness their way back to the power they will not give up ever!
Notably, this same model of tethering violence for political failures is evident in Israel, as the Left are ever embracing measures of sedition and violent protests to offset their failures at the ballot box. We recall the months preceding October 7 that calls for sedition among the armed forces by leaders of the Left were quite clearly made. Political violence and seditious rhetoric are not democratic institutions. They are in fact the antithesis of all democratic values, and they provide the means by which democracies fall into reigns of terror and the rise of totalitarian-ship. Freedom of speech – should give no protection for violent rhetoric, especially during a state of war. Those political ideologies which seek support from, and offer support for such radicals as Hasan Piker, as he openly endorses political violence and the celebration of terrorist attacks against his own nation, who should be easily deemed by the political opposition as being intolerable and toxic…if in fact the political opposition in America were a loyal opposition. Clearly, this is not the case in America…and of course, the it is not true in Israel either.
