France: Calais mayor says UK has ‘declared maritime war’ by stopping illegal Muslim boat migrants

By CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS, JIHAD WATCH

Reminder: Calais became known as the “Calais jungle” and for good reason: it became a violent no-go zone when it was invaded by Muslim migrants. This was the scene:

Marauding gangs attempted to storm the motorway leading to the port as the crisis in the town spirals out of control….Refugees lit fires and barricaded the road as they tried to ambush traffic heading to the ferry terminal. The chaos forced traffic to a standstill for over an hour as heavily armed officers desperately battled to restore order.

The violence became a threat to truckers passing through, as well as to tourists. In response, France made the decision to build a  “Trump-style” wall to keep illegal Muslim migrants from crossing into Britain from Calais.

The Downside of the UAE Deal

T. Belman. I think Vic is over-reacting.  He argues “agreeing to suspend the application of civil law indefinitely (which really means forever) is a big deal.”  I am not so sure.  I think it was merely put on the back burner or postponed rather then suspended for ever. We must wait and see what the Peace Treaty says about it to get a more definitive answer.

The fact that Abbas is taking no solace from the alleged agreement to suspend sovereignty, tells us what we want to know.  He should be ecstatic because he was trying to stop extension of sovereignty, but he isn’t.  He obviously doesn’t believe that Israel has waived its right to extend sovereignty for all times. His response supports the notion that the suspension is only temporary.

The announcement that Israel and the United Arab Emirates would be negotiating an agreement to normalize relations was greeted with cheers from most friends of the Jewish state, and boos from the Palestinians, Turkey, Iran and its satellites, and the anti-Israel Left. Until an actual agreement is signed, though, it’s impossible to say what its real significance will be.

Taking normalization over annexation, Netanyahu poised to enter exalted company

This divisive PM, who has been so battering our democracy, acted admirably in making peace with UAE, and thus at least pencils his name on a very short list alongside Begin, Rabin

By DAVID HOROVITZ, TOI

Main image by Kobi Gideon/PMO, shows Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his office in Jerusalem on a phone call with UAE leader Mohammed Bin Zayed on August 13, 2020

Unlike Israel’s two previous peace deals, the agreement announced Thursday with the United Arab Emirates does not remove from the regional equation a direct neighbor with a history of involvement in wars intended to achieve our destruction. It does not feature a large, populous or especially militarily potent adversary.

But its significance is profound nonetheless, and it was legitimate for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, detailing the agreement to Israelis on Thursday night, to add himself, at least in pencil, to the short list of Israeli prime ministers who have widened Israel’s circle of peace: Begin (1979, Egypt), Rabin (1994, Jordan), Netanyahu (2020, the United Arab Emirates).

UAE: the agreement was intended first and foremost to remove from the agenda for good Israeli sovereignty moves in J & S

Senior officials in United Arab Emirates emphasize intention to quickly establish embassy in Israel, but say it won’t be in Israeli capital.

Shaked : “Netanyahu in fact pledged to relinquish sovereignty.”

Arutz Sheva Staff

Senior officials in the United Arab Emirates say that the embassy that their country will establish in Israel will not be in Jerusalem, the Maariv newspaper reports.

According to the sources, “the intention is to establish the embassies in the two countries with the signing of the agreement, because there is no mutual normalization without a mutual presence on the ground.”

They added that in order for the process to progress quickly they need to start at a stage of collaborations in a variety of areas that will lead to the development of diplomatic relations.

Alexander H. Joffe on Anti-Zionism and Antisemitism after George Floyd

by Marilyn Stern, Middle East Forum Webinar

Archaeologist and historian Alexander H. Joffe, a Ginsburg-Milstein Writing Fellow at the Middle East Forum, spoke to participants in a June 19 Middle East Forum webinar (video) about the “dramatic upswing” in anti-Zionist and antisemitic rhetoric in the US following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

“What we’ve seen … is a classic example of the red green synthesis in action,” said Joffe, referring to the alliance between Islamists in the West and the far left that has spearheaded anti-Israel activism over the past few decades. Its goal is to “racialize and marginalize Jews, particularly American Jews, as white people, as enemies of people of color.”

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The early Zionists had plenty of will but few means with which to achieve their goals, yet they changed the course of Jewish history. Israel today possesses the means to take the opportunity presented by President Trump’s vision, but does it have the will?

American Jewish Useful Idiots

Willful blindness and a bleak future for American Jews.

By Alan Bergstein, INN

“Jewish political intelligence is an oxymoron.” Never forget that maxim when you walk into a gathering of Jewish/Americans. Be prepared to be amazed at their ferocious arrogance tempered with an unwillingness to hear you when you’re recognized as a Conservative.

It’s a fact that about 72% of this group are of the Democrat persuasion and infused with a suicidal zeal for the destruction of their own people. Their fanaticism and supportive compliance with their haters, a genetic mutation fostered by 2000 years of being treated like dirt in every nation in which they sought refuge, has led them to bend their knees to their oppressors, groveling to seek acceptance as “one of them.”

The Democrat Party is Getting Rid of the Jews

Kamala Harris, who defended Omar’s Jew-hate, could sit in the Oval Office.

By Daniel Greenfield, FPM

The Democrat primaries are sweeping around the nation and leaving behind fewer Jewish Democrats in public office and more antisemitic radicals sitting in the House of Representatives.

Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib both survived challenges from better qualified African-Americans because they enjoyed the backing of the Democrat establishment.

Cornered/Weakened Iran/Hezbollah Won’t Remain Passive (4):

JCPOA’s Snap-Back at the U.N. Security Council Will Upend Iran/EU

By Robert Sklaroff

Already discussed is why *”Electing any Democrat-POTUS empowers Iran’s intent to destroy Israel”* (Parts 1 & 2 & 3) and why a *Cornered/Weakened Iran/Hezbollah won’t remain passive*, even as *American Domestic Machinations have evolved from Obama to Trump* and*Iran’s Regional Terrorist Activities Persist Despite Having Hoodwinked Obama; the former were composed from a more disinterested perspective, whereas the latter emphasized personal interventions regarding the Iran-Nuke Capitulation-Pact (JCPOA, Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) that have, for example, conveyed a *comprehensive Iran-Iraq Exposé* that linked Iran’s neo-Nazi threats with writings about *Kurdistan*.

These inferences reinforce previously-drawn conclusions as to the illegality of this “political commitment”—claimed to be neither a “treaty” nor even an “executive-legislative agreement”—as demonstrated in 20 essays by this observer dating from May 2015 until January 2016; pivotal has been the persistent, personal advocacy of SoS Mike Pompeo (with whose Congressional staff I had linked).

THE DEMOCRATS’ ABANDONMENT OF THE JEWS

By Joan Swirsky, CONSERVATIVE N&V
Franklin D. Roosevelet. The abandonment of the Jews began with him. Obama then copied his disastrous policies, with predictable results.

In 1984, David S. Wyman, a professor of history at Amherst College, published The Abandonment of the Jews: America and the Holocaust 1941–1945, in which he documented the degree to which leftist icons like President Franklin Delano Roosevelt were presented with irrefutable evidence of Jewish genocide yet did nothing to stop the mass murder of six-million Jews in Hitler’s Europe.

Abandonment of the Jews began with FDR

Jewish leaders, having an “audience” with FDR implored him, beseeched him to intervene in this unprecedented annihilation. They showed him graphic evidence of:

Barack Obama is meddling in the upcoming election

By Andrea Widburg, AM THINKER

Barack Obama was never a traditional American president. After all, he was the only president ever to come to the White House manifestly disliking and being embarrassed by the country he was elected to lead. With that as a background, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that he’s publicly meddling in the upcoming election in a way that even Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton didn’t try. (Former Republican presidents have more graciously stayed out of the fray.)

Both of Obama’s lines of attack are serious. First, he’s explicitly saying that Trump is trying to throw the election by putting his managerial skills to work to address a postal system that is in complete disarray. Second, he’s attacking his own former Vice President, who is now waiting in the wings to be officially crowned as the Democrat party’s presidential candidate.

A war Dems believe in

By Victor Davis Hanson, JWR
A war Dems believe in
Several of the 2020 Democratic primary candidates favored the abolishment of the Electoral College. Or, as once-confident candidate Elizabeth Warren put it, “I plan to be the last American president to be elected by the Electoral College.”Furor over the Electoral College among the left arose from the 2000 and 2016 elections. Al Gore and Hillary Clinton, respectively, won the popular votes. But, like three earlier presidents, they lost the Electoral College voting — and with it the presidency.

The Founding Fathers saw a purpose in the Electoral College. It ensured that small, rural states would retain importance in national elections.
