Beware The ‘Secret Trump Voters;’ They Are Out There, Despite What The Polls Say

T. Belman. What boggles my mind is how any thinking person could vote Democrat given the the fact that their nominee Joe Biden has dementia, that the Democratic Party support lawlessness, defunding the police, unlimited immigration, the green deal, appeasing Iran, disarming the populace, curtailment of free speech and so and so on. How anyone can think they will be better off lead by Biden than Trump beats me.

… And they’ll turn out on Election Day

By Joseph Curl, DAILY WIRE

I noticed something odd the other day driving through my neighborhood in the Virginia hills not far from Washington, D.C. — there wasn’t a Trump sign in sight. Not one. Four years ago, they were all over, everywhere. This time around, zero.

For the record, voters in my county went for President Trump over Hillary Clinton 59.1% to 34.7% in 2016.

Expert who predicted Trump’s 2016 win now says he’ll lose

T. Belman.  Going up against this prediction is scary. But I am glad to say that there are many reasons to be optimistic.

Historian whose election model predicted Trump’s 2016 win, then called for his impeachment, now predicts Trump will lose to Biden.

Arutz Sheva Staff

President Trump

One of the few political prognosticators whose election model correctly predicted the outcome of the 2016 presidential election now says that President Donald Trump will be defeated this November – adding that there’s not much Trump can do about it.

Allan Lichtman, a history professor from American University in Washington, has employed a unique prediction model for presidential elections, going back to 1984.

The model, which was developed in the 1980s, has accurately predicted the results of every election since Ronald Reagan’s landslide reelection.

Are Today’s Leftists Truly Marxists?

By Walter Williams, JWR

"Are

Most people who call themselves Marxists know very little of Karl Marx’s life and have never read his three-volume “Das Kapital.”Volume I was published in 1867, the only volume published before Marx’s death in 1883. Volumes II and III were later edited and published in his name by his friend and collaborator Friedrich Engels. Most people who call themselves Marxist have only read his 1848 pamphlet “The Communist Manifesto,” which was written with Engels.

Marx is a hero to many labor union leaders and civil rights organizations, including leftist groups like Black Lives Matter, antifa and some Democratic Party leaders. It is easy to be a Marxist if you know little of his life.

Democracy and protests: A perspective

Civilized democratic forms of direct and indirect democracy differ from mob democracy whose whiff arises from the streets of Jerusalem.

By Dr. Mordechai Nisan , INN

Protest in Jerusalem

The periodic anti-Netanyahu summer street protests in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv mix enthusiasm with nihilism. There is much noise, indignation, boisterous energy, youthful spirit, dancing, and colorful and creative placards.

An air of moral purity hovers above and among the participants. The Prime Minister is defamed as motivated solely by personal self-interest and corruption, while the demonstrators assume the pose of an altruistic band of high-minded citizens. Read more…

It says a lot that Biden chose Kamala, and none of what it says is good

By Andrea Widburg, AM THINKER

Biden’s choice of Kamala Harris to be his running mate shows the shallowness of the Democrat’s talent pool. Biden handicapped himself by explicitly pledging to ignore men and then implicitly bowing to the demand that his female choice be black. However, it’s still somewhat shocking that, out of all the black, female, Democrat politicians in America, the best he could do was Kamala.

What’s most striking about Kamala is that, like Barack Obama, she has nothing in common with the American black experience. Despite her slamming the race card on the table, the only thing she shares with the generic “black vote” is skin color.

5 Jewish things to know about US vice president candidate Kamala Harris

T. Belman. Notwithstanding her Jewish credentials, she will be powerless to help Israel. If, god-forbid, Biden and Harris win the upcoming election, it is very bad news for Israel.

WASHINGTON (JTA) — White House hopeful Joe Biden named Kamala Harris, a high-profile Black senator from California, as his vice presidential choice Tuesday, capping a months-long search for a Democratic partner to challenge US President Donald Trump in November.

“I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked @KamalaHarris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants — as my running mate,” Biden, 77, said on Twitter.

The left is our misfortune

By Victor Sharpe, AM GREATNESS

Something fundamentally disquieting, like some noxious alien plant, has been allowed to take hideous root in our beloved America. Going back to 2016, when Donald Trump won the presidency, we have witnessed increasing hysteria on the Left, but also within what passes as the Establishment. After all Trump has never been a part of the establishment elites and so we now have a President who answers directly to the people and not to the Washington insider crowd.

A perfect storm has arrived – the Chinese virus – or what we are told must be called Covid-19 in order to be politically correct and not upset the Communist Chinese government. Thanks also to Dr. Fauci we have become the locked down nation, morphed into mass helplessness and forced to wear masks. Many in the medical profession consider him a hero while others have a more jaundiced opinion.

A Blueprint for a Pacifist, Socialist Republic

The Democratic Party is now committed to a far more radical socialist platform than has ever been remotely hinted at by a serious American national party.

By Conrad Black, AM GREATNESS• August 10, 2020

This has been a year of such astonishing and unforeseeable events that it seems to be taking some time for the full impact of what has tumbled onto the daily and political life of the United States to be assimilated. The year has been building steadily towards its November 3 climax like a Wagnerian opera, through the worst medical pandemic in 100 years, which is playing a role in the fierce combat zone of American politics.

As the primary season unfolded, the Democrats were faced with the selection of an outright Marxist, though a sincere Democrat, and the powers that be in that party intervened to assure the nomination of a presidential candidate who is unique for other reasons.

Nikki Haley positions herself to lead the post-Trump Republican party

The ex-US ambassador to the UN is one of the few Trump officials to leave on good terms and has diligently built up a national profile

Nikki Haley has kept busy since leaving her post in the Trump administration as United States ambassador to the United Nations.

A former governor of South Carolina, Haley is often mentioned as a potential Republican presidential candidate for either 2024 or 2028 – depending on whether Donald Trump wins re-election in November.

There has even been speculation that Trump might switch out Vice-President Mike Pence for Haley as his running mate in the hopes of boosting his lagging approval numbers among the broader electorate, though there has been no strong evidence that that will happen.

Video: Islamic supremacist entryism “advances tremendously” under Trudeau

AUG 11, 2020  BY 3 COMMENTS

In October 2015, right after Justin Trudeau won the Federal elections, Robert Spencer wrote an article: JUSTIN TRUDEAU: CANADA’S OBAMA.” This turned out to be correct. Justin Trudeau has been a mimic of Obama, as Canada has seen a proliferation of Islamic supremacist entryism in the Trudeau government, as well the entry of Islamic supremacists into every layer of Canadian society as well.

Below is an overview, listing some of the worrying trends in Canada as summarized by Gary Gambill of the Middle East Forum, and taken from my briefing to the MEF.

Report: US promises PA Israel will not apply sovereignty

T. Belman. This is too far fetched to believe. The US has been undermining the PA from day one.

PA reportedly agrees to renew ties with US after receiving assurances there will be no Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.

Arutz Sheva Staff , 11/08/20 18:28

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has received a promise from the United States that Israel will not unilaterally apply its sovereignty over any part of Judea and Samaria, Channel 12 News commentator Ehud Yaari reported.

According to the report, the PA agreed to renew ties with the US after receiving the promise.

MK Ayelet Shaked reacted with anger to the reports that the US was now officially against the application of Israeli sovereignty.

“There is no sovereignty and we knew from the first moment that the left-wing government was formed under Netanyahu and Gantz that this would not happen. Netanyahu missed a historic opportunity to change the crooked reality of the Middle East,” Shaked said.

Is the US really the reason Netanyahu is not annexing settlements?

Netanyahu is right that Trump is busy with other matters, with his reelection campaign and his coronavirus response clearly foremost on the agenda.

JUST GIVE HIM one more chance. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump at the White House this week.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly admitted something on Monday night that The Jerusalem Post has been reporting for over a month: The Trump administration has yet to give Israel a green light to apply sovereignty to settlements in Judea and Samaria.

US President Donald “Trump is now busy with other things and [sovereignty] is not top on his mind,” Netanyahu told Channel 20.

Were suspicious tunnels near Beirut Port discovered after blast?

The Lebanese Armed Forces have denied the existence of tunnels.

Videos circulating online, as well as rumors and reports, indicate that “tunnels” have been found in the wake of the Beirut explosions. Some have asserted that this is evidence of Hezbollah “tunnels” storing weapons at the Port of Beirut, while others think they were used for human trafficking. Both SkyNews and Russia’s Sputnik News claimed there was a “labyrinth network of tunnels.”

The Lebanese Armed Forces have denied the existence of tunnels, just as Hezbollah has denied doing anything at Beirut Port. It’s unclear how the army could refute the claims without investigating the images and videos already circulating online. Nevertheless, the army denied the existence of tunnels.

The Palestinian War on History

by Bassam Tawil, GATESTONE INSTITUTE  •  August 11, 2020

Palestinian leaders seem more worried about an Israeli plan to install an elevator for disabled people at the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs in Hebron than about a Palestinian upsurge in violent crime. • “Every person, irrespective of whether or not they are disabled, should have the opportunity to visit the tomb, which is an important Jewish heritage site… The tomb belongs to us after Abraham bought it with his own money 3,800 years ago.” — Former Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett.

Facebook censors American Thinker

By Andrea Widburg,  AMER THINKER

Two weeks ago, I wrote that the social media giants are refusing to allow people to publish anything about the Wuhan virus that contradicts information from the World Health Organization. This censorship hit close to home on Monday when Facebook banned an American Thinker reader from posting William Sullivan’s post about Sweden’s successful decision not to implement lockdowns.

Nobody questions the fact that the social media giants – Twitter, Facebook, and Google / YouTube – have way too much control over American discourse. Americans believe that they’re participating in a free exchange of ideas, but they’re learning that they’re actually communicating within a censorious, controlling environment that takes its marching orders from the Democrats and, even more worrisomely, from China (at least indirectly):

The Need for a U.S.-Israel Mutual Defense Pact

The U.S.-Israeli relationship already has many of the characteristics of a formal alliance.

by Gary C. Gambill, MEFORUM   August 10, 2020

Michael Makovsky, president of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA), spoke to participants in a June 1 Middle East Forum webinar (video) about the merits of a U.S.-Israel Mutual Defense Pact.

Although the relationship between Israel and the United States has many of the characteristics of a formal alliance – intelligence sharing, regular joint exercises, prepositioned weapons and so forth – the two countries have opted not to sign a traditional mutual defense pact because of Israel’s determination to defend itself by itself and maintain freedom of action in conducting military operations, and because of American reluctance to be dragged into Middle East conflicts.

Trump Heroically Defies a Lawless Supreme Court

The court’s ruling on young illegals is an abomination that must not stand.

By Matthew Vadum, FPM  August 10, 2020

President Donald Trump is quietly turning a stinging defeat at the Supreme Court over an illegal amnesty for hundreds of thousands of young illegal aliens into what could end up being a victory for the Constitution and the rule of law.

The Supreme Court, of course, has no authority to tell the president of the United States that he cannot rescind an illegal executive amnesty ordered by his predecessor in the same manner it was instituted.
