Peloni: One of the great pillars of American society has been the edict of equality before the law. It is this dictum which provided Jews, among other minorities, the ability to climb to the heights of the economic, social and political ladder in America. Hence, in its campaign of insanity to re-interpret old laws, and completely imagining new ones out of whole cloth, in its effort to first block and later unseat Pres. Trump from power, the Left has abused its power towards the purpose of re-imagining America as some form of medieval European autocracy, one in which the elites control everything, even the standards of justice and by which measure they might be applied based on the benefit which it provides to these elites. This retrograde sense of king’s justice is not what drew the world to envy America over the generations, but it is what has come to be preferred over the past near decade ‘to get Trump’. While this warped application of law began being applied in an assault on the president, it was later leveraged against the thousands who attended the Jan 6 protest, later labeled an insurrection, and it is currently being used to protect terror advocates and demonize Jewish children on college campuses. The upside down sense of unjust justice in America which has replaced the previous standard of law enforcement, must be ended, for people of both great and small statures, which was once the hallmark upon which American justice was judged.

Peloni: In his article linked below, Lee Smith make the argument which I noted previously, that the Carlson cabal of MAGA influencers have been waging a war of control of the MAGA movement with Trump, and that they have been using their relative positions of popularity to try to push Trump into adopting their own anti Israel positions. But Lee goes further, making the case that these influencers, which now includes Bannon, Kelly, Greene, and others are actually acting on behalf of the Obama camp in an effort to raise evangelical support for their anti American, anti-Israel positions, which defies the reality of the fact that Evangelical support for America and Israel is based upon their core belief system.

After a recent U.S. State Department decision, much of the world has reacted with outrage, vehemently opposing what is in reality a prudent and long-overdue American policy. The cause of the uproar? The Department of State (DOS) has revoked visas for Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas and 80 PA officials, preventing them from attending the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in New York City, scheduled for September 9 to 23.
The DOS statement affirmed: “It is in our national security interests to hold the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) and PA (Palestinian Authority) accountable for failing to honor their commitments and for undermining prospects for peace.” It further emphasized that only groups that “consistently repudiate terrorism, including the October 7 massacre, and end incitement to terrorism in education” can be regarded as credible partners for peace.
Peloni: Exercising and maintaining national sovereignty rather than dependency is what provides longevity for any given nation.
Israel’s reticence over the past three decades allowed its despotic adversaries to acquire military capabilities of ominous scope.

Reporting on Israel’s elimination of another senior Hamas terrorist in Gaza on September 1, the Times noted, in the article’s second paragraph: “Hamas has rarely acknowledged the deaths of its leaders in real time, often taking weeks or months to concede their demise.”
Weeks or months! The Times is, in effect, admitting that for weeks or months at a time, Hamas spokesmen lie—claiming that one or another of its leaders is alive, when in fact they’re dead.

October 7 presented the Israeli left with a daunting challenge: how to prevent the Hamas massacre from sounding the death knell of its most cherished dream, the so-called two-state solution. Having witnessed the vast majority of the Palestinian public cheer Hamas’ savagery, the last thing Israelis wanted to hear was plans for future partition of their land, never mind a peace agreement. Faced with this popular rejection of its central platform, the left first had to focus on preventing the right from consolidating its growing majority, to avert total collapse.
But how could the left leverage an event that showed its side was wrong in its fundamental assumptions about Israel’s neighbors against the right, whose position was vindicated? The answer is simple: Lay Oct. 7 at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s feet.

On September 2, the state-controlled Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Damascus intercepted an arms shipment destined for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the US-supported military force of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES). The news is the latest indication of increasing tensions between Syria’s official government and factions in eastern Syria.
In March, SDF leader Mazloum Abdi met with Syrian transitional President Ahmed al Sharaa to discuss a roadmap toward integrating eastern Syria into the new government. However, the two entities have come into conflict several times since.
Peloni: This is an important achievement. India and Israel have many common interests and have been steadily developing common initiatives together in recent years as well in areas of trade, defense and investment. Still, the recent moves by Washington placing severe sanctions on India made this deal all the more expected.

The UN has said that in all the wars fought since 1945, the civilian-to-combatant ratio of deaths has been 9:1. In Afghanistan, the Western powers brought that figure down to 4:1, and in Iraq, to 3:1. But no army in history has managed to bring that ratio to below 1:1, as Israel has done in Gaza, with 17,800 civilians killed because of the war, and 26,000 Hamas combatants killed. Shouldn’t this feat by the IDF be shouted from the rooftops?
The International Association of Genocide Scholars, which has wrongfully and in outrage of the evidence accused Israel of “genocide,” also criticizes Israel because some Israeli politicians have called for the forced expulsion of people from Gaza. Some Israeli leaders — a minority — have called for the forced expulsion of people from Gaza.
Peloni: The most ridiculous aspect of this report is that it comes on the heals of Trump having raised the demand of releasing proof to establish the merits of Operation Warp Speed. Indeed, in making this demand he even raise the fact that if OWS was less successful than reported to him, this should be acknowledged as well, making the praise for the project all the more troublesome.

Peloni: The matters which most align a nation towards its identity, and thereby instill a sense of unity, such as was clearly the effect of 9/11, are what makes nations strong, and thus become the very target of those whose goals are more globalist in nature, as opposed to being nationalist. As we approach another somber September 11, you will frequently hear “always remember.” The fact is, many Americans have already forgotten.
Peloni: Amid the threats from the UAE, Netanyahu has removed discussion of annexation from the topics of today’s security cabinet meeting. As explained by Khaled Hassan (highly recommended analysis), there is good reason to accept that the Emeratis are serious in their threats to quit the Abraham Accords despite the costs to it economy and security. Beyond just the Emeratis, annexation would further significantly delay if not end the Saudi normalization, and would further strain the peace with Egypt. So the question becomes is annexation worthy of realigning the region against Israel over this single move? I would argue that if this were merely related to the land, or to religion, it would be wise to be cautious here. Yet, October 7 demonstrated the ease with which a small force might spread chaos and mayhem, slaughter and barbarism, into the very homes of the Israeli people. Annexation is related to Israel’s security, and its very survival as the nation state of the Jews. This final nail upon the shroud of the Two State Solution must finally be hammered home, and would be wise to be done sooner rather than later. In fact, much of the world, many so called partners and allies, including the feckless Emeratis, are about to recognize a second Arab Palestinian state, which has brought this issue to a head. Comments and criticisms on this topic would be welcome.
