Where black churches nourished the civil rights movement, identity politics has built a culture of rage and rejection
Thanks to affirmative action:
“Among white 18-year-olds, 42% will attend college versus 37% for blacks and 36% for Hispanics. The percentage of young blacks of college age who will attend university in the United States is not much different from that of whites.
But under 34% of black males at US universities will graduate within six years (the standard program is four years). These are shocking numbers. Of this 37%, only a third, or 12.5% of college-age black men, will obtain university degrees. Almost one-quarter of all black men of college age will try and fail. Those were the black youth who stayed out of trouble, graduated from high school, and sought advancement in the university system – but ended up at the bottom of the greasy pole. That is a humiliation on a gigantic scale.”

If police are restrained, or even de-funded, as Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Democrat of New York) demands, the crime rate will rise sharply, and blacks are far more likely to be crime victims than whites.
Israeli sovereignty bid has Palestinians in a bind
Despite its threats, the Palestinian Authority has few options open to it given Israel’s plan to extend sovereignty to parts of Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley.
By Pinhas Inbari, ISRAEL HAYOM
Israel’s declared intention to apply sovereignty over some territories in Judea and Samaria is provoking a storm in the Palestinian Authority and Jordan, and to a lesser extent in other Arab states. The question before us is what might happen on the Palestinian side if Israel does indeed take the step to annex or apply sovereignty over parts of the West Bank.
The PA has already announced the cessation of security coordination with Israel. However, my discussions with Palestinian sources indicate that coordination continues in alternative ways, and IDF forces continue to operate in the PA territories with the knowledge of Palestinian security forces.
As long as Jordan’s border crossings are in Israel’s hands, the PA cannot detach itself from the security coordination with Israel. Without such cooperation, the PA’s leaders will not be able to cross over to Jordan, and that would sever their ties with the Arab world.
On the Wuhan virus, should you even listen to a leftist epidemiologist?

It’s difficult to take seriously someone whose biases are so plainly on display. It’s especially challenging to accept a narrative that has so many omissions it is downright dishonest if you compare that corrupt narrative to information in a leaked government report out of Germany. The German document’s countervailing facts are consistent with data, not theory:
Some of the report key passages are:
- The dangerousness of Covid-19 was overestimated: probably at no point did the danger posed by the new virus go beyond the normal level.
- The people who die from Corona are essentially those who would statistically die this year, because they have reached the end of their lives and their weakened bodies can no longer cope with any random everyday stress (including the approximately 150 viruses currently in circulation).
- Worldwide, within a quarter of a year, there has been no more than 250,000 deaths from Covid-19, compared to 1.5 million deaths [25,100 in Germany] during the influenza wave 2017/18.
- The danger is obviously no greater than that of many other viruses. There is no evidence that this was more than a false alarm.
- A reproach could go along these lines: During the Corona crisis the State has proved itself as one of the biggest producers of Fake News.
So far, so bad. But it gets worse.

Trump’s message to Angela Merkel is loud and clear
Dear Americans,
By Victor Rosenthal
Where to start?
I’ll take September 11, 2001. In some ways it’s an arbitrary date, but it’s one that will appear in whatever serves as history books 500 years from now, if there are such things.
That was the day that the enemies of the United States of America took and held the initiative. That was the day that it became clear that the American Century was coming to a close.
This was not because the attack was so painful. It was painful enough; the loss of more than 3,000 mothers, fathers, children, brothers, and sisters was excruciating. The firefighters and police who were aware of the danger, but charged into the buildings because it was their job, and were swallowed up, that was excruciating. But the American economy survived the initial blow. Buildings that were destroyed were rebuilt. Financial institutions strengthened their backup systems. Life went on for the bereaved.

Rule, Britannia (or Rule Britannia!), The European Union, & Those “Annexing” Judeans…
by Gerald A. Honigman
To begin with, please open http://q4j-middle-east.com and see a Roman coin of conquest for another of its very troublesome provinces.
Note please, a Iudaea (Judaea) Capta coin–not a Palaestina Capta one.
Vespasian would help subdue the early Brits as he had done with the Jews in Judaea as well. See accounts of contemporary Roman historians, Tacitus and Dio Cassius, regarding the latter.
While not a citizen nor subject of Great Britain (though if things turned out a bit differently about 225 years ago, that perhaps would not be the case), I can’t help hearing the upbeat music of Rule Britannia, without sensing pomp and glory.
Netanyahu vows all settlements will be annexed July 1, but other lands may wait
Meeting with West Bank mayors who have refrained from trashing Trump plan, PM also quoted saying that the territory conditionally offered to Palestinians doesn’t constitute a state
By Jacob Magid, TOI
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (5th from L) and Settlements Minister Tzipi Hotovely (6th from L) meet with settler leaders in the Prime Minister’s Office on June 7, 2020. (Courtesy)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told settler leaders on Sunday that he still intends to annex all West Bank settlements on the July 1 date that is the earliest allowed by his coalition deals, but he acknowledged that annexing other lands allocated to Israel under the Trump peace plan will likely take more time, several participants in the meeting told The Times of Israel.
The remarks reaffirmed Netanyahu’s self-declared July 1 target date for extending Israeli sovereignty to all West Bank settlements but also appeared to mark the first time he has admitted to long-reported delays by the joint US-Israeli team tasked with mapping out the further territories to be annexed, mainly in the Jordan Valley.
Netanyahu’s comments would mean the government would initially annex about three percent of West Bank territory, covering the 132 settlements, home to some 450,000 Israelis. The remainder of the roughly 30% that the Trump deal grants to Israel — most of which is in the Jordan Valley — would be annexed at a later period, when the joint US-Israeli mapping committee finishes determining the exact territorial divisions beyond the pre-1967 Green Line.

Nolte: Dr. Fauci Is Either a Liar or a Fraud
By John Nolte, BREITBART

Mea culpa: I spent a lot of time on these here digital pages defending Dr. Anthony Fauci. Brother, was I wrong. Fauci is a stone-cold liar. And if he’s not a stone-cold liar, his only defense is that he is a fraud. Either way, shame on him … and me.
For months Fauci has been everywhere, all over TV, urging Americans to lock themselves down, to abandon their jobs, their sick and dying family members, the small businesses they spent their lives getting off the ground; he urged us to drive our economy into the dirt, pull children who desperately need structure out of school, forgo once-in-a-lifetime graduations and graduation parties, cancel weddings and vacations…
Fauci’s message was clear, militant, terrifying, and relentless: If you don’t do these things, if you don’t sacrifice these things, if you don’t give up your liberty and prosperity, you are no better than a serial killer. The coronavirus is a unique and deadly killer, a particularly infectious and fatal disease unlike anything we’ve seen in more than a century.
Did an aged activist set up the Buffalo police?
T. Belman. I just received a report this evening that suggested that the Floyd George happening was also a set up by globalists to justify the riots. So read carefully reports that challange the narrative the MSM is running with.
By Andrea Widburg, AMERICAN THINKER
Many Americans understand that the riots aren’t righteous protests but are, instead, leftist activism aimed at destabilizing America and (the activists hope) destroying Trump’s chance at reelection. Still, people found shocking a video showing police in Buffalo pushing an old man to the ground where he lay with blood pouring from his ear. Don’t believe everything you see, though. The old man was a leftist activist looking for trouble and may have staged the whole thing.
If one views the video in a vacuum, it’s awful. A frail-looking old man standing alone against the Buffalo police is brutally pushed to the ground and left to lie there, bleeding:
WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT Video shows two police officers in Buffalo, New York, shoving a 75-year-old man to the ground. The sound of a crack is heard and blood trickles from the man’s head https://reut.rs/2Y9eLF0
Almost immediately after the video appeared, the police officers who pushed the man were charged with assault and suspended from the force. This tweet illustrates how effective the man’s fall was in advancing the anti-police narrative:
I’m not sure any single video since the murder of George Floyd gives us a more insightful glimpse into the minds of American police than this one.
Alex Selsky on How Russian Jews Have Changed Israel
by Gary C. Gambill, MEFORUM June 5, 2020
Alex Selsky, CEO of the World Israel Beytenu movement, former adviser of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, member of the board of governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel, and a lecturer at the School of Politics and Journalism at Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem, spoke to participants in a May 11 Middle East Forum webinar (video) about the role of Jewish immigrants (olim) from the former Soviet Union and their descendants in Israel today.
Although commonly referred to as “Russian Jews,” Selsky emphasized that only 30% originated from Russia itself, the rest hailing from other former Soviet republics. They number around 900,000, or 1,200,000 if Halakhally non-Jewish members of Jewish households are included. Most arrived after the fall of the Soviet Union.
Selsky also disputed use of the terms “immigrants” and “Russians” in describing Russian-speaking Jews who made aliyah to Israel. “There are no Russian immigrants in Israel,” he explained. “There are Russian-speaking Jewish Israelis who repatriated to their homeland. Russians are in Russia. We’re Jews.”

The Left feeds on the victim narrative. It is the currency of their political power.
By , AMERICAN GREATNESS •
The rioting and looting across the United States have been widely—though not universally—condemned. The “peaceful protests,” on the other hand, have been universally praised. But is this appropriate? Wouldn’t a broader and more balanced discussion be more constructive than praise without reservation?
Obviously, people have the right to peacefully protest injustice, and obviously incidents of murderous police brutality are more than sufficient justification for protests. But that’s as far as it goes. The scope of these protests is disproportionate to the offense, not because the offense wasn’t hideously wrong, but because there are far more dangerous challenges facing black Americans. The biggest challenge of all: leftists who indoctrinate blacks to think they are always first and foremost victims of racism.
Debunking this narrative of racism can start with the allegation that a disproportionate number of blacks are victims of police brutality, which in itself (and regardless of race) is extremely rare.
A wave of illegal Arab construction
WHY DOESN’T ISRAEL PUT A STOP TO THIS ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION.
Mount Hebron council head warns Trump sovereignty plan will lead to even more illegal construction meant to strangle Jewish communities.
Arutz Sheva Staff,

Illegal Arab construction on Mount Hebron
100 residents of Mount Hebron protested on Friday following the illegal construction being promoted by Palestinian Authority in the Carmel, Avigayil, Maon and Susya communities.
The residents moved among the many construction groups that were established between the localities and stood on the perimeter of the illegal construction built on the fences of the localities.
The eastern ridge of Mount Hebron is entirely populated by Israeli localities and is largely in Area C and composed of state land. The area has seen a wave of illegal Arab construction.

Black Voters Are Coming for Trump
T. Belman. As you would expect from the NYT, this is a puff piece. If you go to realClearPolitics you will see an updated survey of all the polls. They strongly favour Biden and so do the odds makers. (For my part, it boggles the mind why anyone would vote for Biden, especially blacks.
Rasmussen article explains what is wrong with the polls.
When it comes to opinion polls, just like hurricane or virus models, who has been the most accurate in the past? Rasmussen was the most accurate pollster of 2016 in terms of the popular vote. Less accurate polls, based on their models, predicted a Hillary Clinton landslide.
Rasmussen, to its credit, polls likely voters, rather than registered voters, only about half of whom vote, or adults, an even smaller percentage of whom vote. Most polls skew the survey group, oversampling Democrats, sometimes significantly, finding false support for a Democrat viewpoint.
The Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll during the month of March shows Trump in the high 40 percent approval range, the same as President Obama at the exact same point in his presidency. One president is presiding over a once-in-a-century viral pandemic which has shut down much of the U.S. economy, while the other president was running for reelection, backed by an adoring media. Yet they poll similarly.
If Trump was doing such a bad job today, his numbers would in the low 30s, not close to 50% where he has been for much of his first term.
Real Clear Politics combines a number of public opinion polls into an average. Its most recent results show 49.8 percent approval for the president compared to 47.7 percent disapproval. These polls reflect the typical oversampling of Democrats meaning the real numbers are likely even higher for Trump.
All the protesters both law abiding and unruly, believe that there is systemic racism in the police force even though there is no truth in it.
The Myth of Systemic Police Racism
They shouldn’t lose hope. They are at the heart of the fight to take back America.
By Juan Williams, NYT (Mr. Williams is a Fox News analyst.)

In Columbia, S.C., on Saturday, a young protester told a reporter that she just didn’t think voting is “how change happens.”
“They’ve been telling us to do that for so long,” she added, “and we’ve done it — and look at everything that’s still going on.”
Fury over the cruel death of George Floyd, a black man in police custody, combined with fear of a deadly virus and its painful economic impact, make this a dark, dizzying moment in our national life. But African-Americans shouldn’t feel hopeless, because the black vote does matter — it has never mattered more. It is at the heart of the fight to take back America.
Israel should seize the opportunities Trump’s peace plan offers
If Israel rejects the Trump plan, a future American administration could take advantage of that rejection and offer us much less.

This week marks 53 years on the civil calendar since the Six Day War.
I have vivid memories of this war.
I remember the terrifying tasks of running to the bomb shelter while hearing the siren on my way to school and being asked to dig graves for fallen soldiers. I also remember that proud moment when I saw my school teacher Yitzhak Yifat and his fellow paratroopers standing at the Western Wall upon its liberation. The reunification of Jerusalem, as well as the liberation of the Golan Heights and Judea and Samaria had renewed the faith of many Israelis, mine included, in a brighter and stronger future.

A radical settler wages war against annexation — but he is far from alone
For Ira Rappaport, who was a member of the Jewish Underground terror group in the 1980s, the Trump plan is a disaster; his misgivings are emblematic of growing alarm among settlers
By SHALOM YERUSHALMI, TOI

Ira Rappaport makes a tear in the cloth of his shirt, the age-old Jewish sign of grief. US President Donald Trump’s “Peace to Prosperity” plan for Middle East peace has filled him with that emotion, he says.
“Things are far worse than we thought,” Rappaport laments. “I live in [the settlement of] Shiloh, and I’m going to suffer from here on out. But it’s not just me.”
Settler leaders are increasingly decrying the plan, which Netanyahu is aggressively pushing in order to allow annexation of West Bank settlements and the Jordan Valley, but which some Jewish leaders in the region dread — both for enabling the potential (though, at this point, highly theoretic) establishment of a Palestinian state and for seemingly allowing 15 settlements to become enclaves within that future entity.
