Trump’s Victory at UN will Cement Defeat in Gaza

Peloni: In an important article, Trump’s UN victory is a path to a stalemate in Gaza”, Jonathan S. Tobin challenges that rather than peace bein the ultimate conclusion of Trump’s efforts, it is far more likely that it will result in a stalemate pending the next attack by Hamas at some time in the future.  Tobin explains that Pres. Trump secured U.N. Security Council approval for his 20-point Gaza plan, including a ceasefire, an International Stabilization Force, and a “Board of Peace” to govern Gaza. Tobin argues that despite the fanfare, the plan is unlikely to deliver real peace: Hamas is unlikely to disarm or relinquish control over parts of Gaza, and outside countries are unlikely to commit the blood and treasure required to remove it.

Arguing against what he calls “magical thinking” – the idea that technocratic governance or reconstruction alone will force Hamas out, Tobin suggests that a de facto permanent division may emerge instead, with a “yellow line” separating a rebuilt, U.S.-backed Gaza from a Hamas-controlled enclave. While this could reduce Hamas’s ability to launch major attacks, the war aim of Hamas being defeated would go unfulfilled. Tobin also expresses skepticism about the plan offering a credible path to statehood for Palestinians and describes the “credible pathway” language as being more aspirational than binding. Importantly, he also doubts that Arab states will actually risk stability or make sacrifices for Gaza’s reconstruction, ultimately arguing that without Hamas’s removal the plan would simply result in a new stalemate rather than achieving lasting peace.

Qatar Claims Israeli Strikes in Response to Gaza Shooting May Upend Ceasefire

Peloni:  We should only be so fortunate as to see the ceasefire upended so that the war aims might actually be fulfilled by the only party with the capability, interest and integrity to do so, which is the IDF of course.

FDD | Nov 20, 2025

Latest Developments

  • Qatar Criticizes Israeli Strikes: The Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned Israeli strikes against Hamas positions in Gaza on November 19. The IDF launched the strikes after terrorists violated the nearly six-week-old ceasefire earlier in the day by opening fire on Israeli soldiers near the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis. No injuries were reported. Palestinian medics and the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health reported that at least 25 people were killed by the airstrikes, which were carried out in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City and in Khan Younis.

Resolution 2803: A restatement of international law

It is noteworthy not only because of what it says but because of what it doesn’t say.

Leonard Grunstein | Nov 20, 2025

The U.N. Security Council voted on Nov. 17 to adopt Resolution 2803 regarding the Gaza Strip by what amounts to an overwhelming bipartisan vote of 13-0, including Arab and Muslim countries, and supported by a host of others. None of the 15 members of the UNSC voted against the resolution, and only two abstained: Russia and China.

Trump’s Gaza Plan Adopts The Saudi-French Proposal Recognizing ‘Right of Return’ To Israel For 1948 Palestinian Refugees

Peloni:  The deference and legitimacy granted to the Saudi-French proposal in the Trump Gaza UN resolution is perhaps the greatest betrayal of Israel’s sovereignty as a Jewish state over the past century, as it legitimizes the Right of Return.

By Y. Yehoshua* | Memri | November 19, 2025

Palestinians | Inquiry & Analysis Series No. 189

The Trump administration, which initially was vehemently opposed to the Saudi-French proposal for the promotion of the two-state solution (the “New York Declaration” of July 29, 2025), has now endorsed this initiative, which was adopted by the UN General Assembly on September 12, 2025,[1] and accepts it as a source of authority in its diplomatic proposals.

Trump’s 28 Point Plan for Ukraine and Russia

Peloni:  To be honest, I have high expectations that the terms will quickly be violated, even if they are dubiously accepted to begin with. Many of these points require a considerable amount of trust for parties which have no reason to trust either each other or the US.  Of course, Trump’s negotiating style includes the use of significant means to leverage the parties towards accepting difficult terms.  In particular, Point #20 will be difficult for both sides, but nearly impossible for Ukraine as its best elements of their armed forces include Azov.  I have always worried about the Jewish community in Ukraine following the war, and this concern has not been lightened with the prospect of Ukraine having to chase a hasty peace before their battlefield losses are even more penalizing than they stand at this hour.

Trumps 28 peace plan for Ukriane and Russia in short:

IDSF: Mossad Operation Uncovers Hamas Terror Cells in Europe – What’s Next

Peloni:  As Europe has consolidated significant support for the terrorist in Gaza, the terrorists have been consolidating significant support for their terrorist intentions against the Europeans.  It is not too late for Europe to through off their cloak of ignorance and fight the scourge of oppression and terror which they are currently all too comfortable accepting.  Of course, the elected elites in Europe have no stomach to fight for the future of their people, which leaves the matter to the people to fight for themselves as best they can til better leadership might be elected in the future.

A Palestinian State Doesn’t Have To Be Where Everyone Assumes…

Peloni:  Mudar Zahran makes the point here which I referred to previously.  Recognizing the Palestinian State in Jordan which was created a century ago goes a long way towards solving long standing problems which will otherwise remain unsolvable, so long as history and international law are ignored.  Jordan Is Arab Palestine.  Trans Jordan was created specifically as Arab Palestine while it is still being led by a colonialist invented monarchy.

Feds Don’t Move Against CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood, So Texas’ Abbott Does It Himself

Peloni:  The indomitable Amy Mek provides an additional warning about Spencer’s final comment below related to enforcement of Abbott’s Executive Order.  In fact, there is no need for new executive orders, nor for new laws banning the support of terrorism or terrorists.  Such laws have laid dormant in the legal codes of the US for decades as support for terrorism has become more and more openly embraced.  So, with Abbott’s new executive order, the only question is to what degree the Texas Attorney General will act to enforce the current Texas law.  Indeed, I have been questioning for years now, more so over the past ten months actually, why US Attorney Generals have consistently failed to act to enforce long standing and well ignored laws against the support of terrorism and terrorists.

After years of lies, half-truths, and distortions, this is extraordinarily refreshing.

Into the fray: From lords to lemmings – Israel’s legal elites on the brink

A chronicle of calumny, collapse, and the plunge from the pinnacle of power to the depths of depravity—which provides a lens through which the Netanyahu trial should be viewed

The dramatic events currently unfolding in Israel, shaking the very foundations of its society, underscore the myopic naivety of the Israeli “Right” and its utter inability to fathom the all-consuming, incandescent animosity that its political rivals on the “Left” harbor for it.

U.S. officials in Ukraine to push for renewed peace talks

Peloni:  For an explanation for why the renewed push, we need to grasp the reason why Potrovsk finally fell, and why the next campaign is likely to be far quicker than the last one:  As I noted previously, Ukraine lacks men, munitions and morale, and the US is currently in an election cycle which prevents any possibility of significant support for Ukraine.  Meanwhile, reports of the criminal nature of the Ukrainian govt, even amid its desperate situation in this war, never seems to go away, and are tied quite closely to Zelensky, himself.

I first set foot in Jerusalem in 1971. I was an agricultural volunteer on a kibbutz and with my modest pay, took a bus to Jerusalem, stayed in a youth hostel, and toured the new city and the old city, mostly on foot. I walked for miles. I visited every above and below archaeological and historical site that I could, as well as all the museums. I was enthralled.

WALK AFTER GOD, NOT AFTER BAALESTINE

By Menachem Lowy

The Red-Green Axis

“Baalestine” worship is a barbarian death cult that serves as a “replacement theology” and pseudo-spiritual belief system for the disciples of the Red-Green Axis who despise traditional Biblical religions and morality.

“Baalestine” is a term I’m using here to refer to the idolatrous false god being worshiped by the modern “Red-Green Axis” (the Islamist-Marxist-Democrat Party global alliance). This term is suggestive of the ancient false god “Baal” whose worship brought God’s wrath upon the Jews.

The Coup America Pretends Isn’t Happening

Washington has spent years calling Pakistan a “strategic partner.” Last week, that partner rewrote its Constitution in a way that removes civilian checks, sidelines the Supreme Court, elevates the military command structure, and shields top officials from prosecution for life. The response from the United States and Europe has been silence.

The amendment pushed through both chambers of parliament at unusual speed, restructures Pakistan’s armed forces under a single commander, creates a parallel constitutional court that absorbs the Supreme Court’s authority, centralizes financial controls, and grants lifelong legal immunity to presidents and senior generals. Opposition members walked out. Protests erupted. None of it slowed the process.

Saddam Hussein’s Collapse Through Arab Eyes

Peloni:  Jalal provides some very keen observations about the defeat of Saddam Hussein, demonstrating the effect which comes with the defeat of such barbarians as now face Israel today inside the Yellow Line in Gaza, and on her many borders.  Failing to effect victory against these parties only provides them with an aura of invincibility, which Saddam Hussein too could have claimed had he not been demonstrably defeated in every sense of the word.

By: Jalal Tagreeb

Saddam Hussein delivering a speech against Israel (right) [1], and Saddam Hussein hooded immediately after his capture (left) [2, 3].

There is a particular sting when the downfall of Saddam Hussein is recounted not by an American soldier or an Israeli analyst, but by an Arab—someone raised within the same cultural sphere that once glorified him, echoed his rhetoric, and absorbed the myth of his defiance. The humbling of Saddam, therefore, takes on a deeper and far more ironic resonance when narrated by an Arab writer who understands, from the inside, how carefully Saddam’s image was crafted and how painfully it collapsed. This article is written precisely from that position.

Einat Wilf Analysis: Hamas Rejects Historic UN Resolution While Israel Worries About Hidden Dangers

Peloni:  Dr. Einat Wilf, former Knesset member and now leader of a new political party, warns that the Trump plan for peace is cloaked in what she describes as “constructive ambiguity”.  Using a lack of clarity allowed the relative parties to find something on which they might all agree, even as the substance of what  is being agreed upon is not consistent between the parties.  She explains that the disasters emanating from seeking peace can be attributed to this reality and its consequent failures.  While the ambiguity of such arrangements has seen temporary benefits, as is now the case with the Trump administration claiming to have secured ‘Peace in our time’, such pretenses do not serve the interests of Israel.  She calls for the development of a peace initiative which is rooted in specificity and clarity.  To achieve this goal, she calls for the dismantling of ‘Palestinianism,’ which is rooted in the intended destruction of Israel.  To this end, she suggests a targeted policy that aims to remove the foundational pillars of ‘Palestinianism’, which she describes as being three mutually reinforcing components: the so-called right of return; the concept of perpetual refugeehood; and UNRWA.
