Turkish Opposition Journalist: Rumors Are ‘Garbage’; Khashoggi Is Alive

By Frances Martel, BREITBART

An undated recent file picture shows prominent Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi who resigned suddenly on May 16, 2010 in Riyadh from the helm of Al-Watan days after the newspaper published a controversial column criticising Salafism. Al-Watan announced that Khashoggi, 52, was stepping down as editor-in-chief 'to focus on his personal â?¦

Ahmet Hakan, a Turkish journalist with a history of criticizing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, published a column Friday claiming that one of his reputable sources called reports that missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was dead “garbage” and that he is still alive.

Hakan also claimed to receive gruesome pictures of hacked body parts this week from sources who claimed the remains belonged to Khashoggi, but he did not offer proof identifying the remains.

COLUMN ONE: MOWING THE LAWN IN GAZA

T. Belman. It looks like Caroline finally saw the light on her one state solution. She now writes that there is no solution to Gaza other than mass emigration of hundreds of thousands of Gazans. She also argued that Israel can expect the same problems in J&S if we give it over to the Palestinians. Mass emigration is the only answer.

The main strategic takeaway from Gaza and from Judea and Samaria is that there is no solution, military or otherwise to the Palestinians’ never-ending war against the Jewish state.

BY CAROLINE B. GLICK, JPOST

Column One: Mowing the lawn in Gaza

Wednesday night, the security cabinet convened to discuss the Hamas regime in Gaza’s escalating war against Israel. The current round of war began seven months ago when Hamas terror bosses ordered Gaza residents to the border with Israel. The declared purpose of the mass gatherings was to destroy Israel in what Hamas referred to as “the march of return.” Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh promised they would hold a press conference on the embers of destroyed Israeli border communities in short order.

Chelsea Football Club blows the whistle on antisemitism

Chelsea Football Club spearheads the way for fighting discrimination and antisemitism on the soccer pitch.

By Tamar Beeri, JPOST

Chelsea Football

The Chelsea Football Club training grounds were alive on Wednesday in preparation for the big game against Manchester United, but that was not the only thing haunting the minds of those in the facility.

The team were recently introduced to Holocaust survivor Harry Spiro, who chillingly recollected his experiences in Auschwitz, a concentration camp located in present-day Poland, within which the Nazis had murdered over a million innocent people, most of them due to their Jewish lineage.

‘Supreme Court continues to act against democracy’

T. Belman. Who’s running the country? The eletist Court or the elected Knesset? The leftist elite or the people?

‘A disgrace, Supreme Court decision was a huge victory for BDS’

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri joins other ministers and MKs in outrage after High Court rules BDS advocate be allowed to stay in Israel.

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri slammed the Supreme Court’s ruling on Thursday permitting BDS activist Lara Alqasem to study in Hebrew University.

“The decision to leave the student who openly acts against the State of Israel in Israel is shameful,” said Deri. “Where is our national honor, even in the US, would it dare to act against the state and demand that we stay and study there? I will examine how to prevent such a recurrence. ”

Jamal Khashoggi had ‘bloodlust’ against Israel’

http://www.virtualjerusalem.com/news.php?Itemid=28797

INN – Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi-born writer who was allegedly murdered on the orders of the Saudi government in Istanbul last week, has been the subject of much concern in the mainstream media since his disappearance.

However, Khashoggi was far from a liberal journalist, writes Jordan Schachtel of Conservative Review.

Schachtel stated that Khashoggi, who wrote for the Washington Post’s serious bloodlust when it came to violence against the state of Israel Global Opinions section, was an Islamist extremist who displayed a “serious bloodlust when it came to violence against the state of Israel” and was connected to terrorist organizations.

JNF: More Than Half the Forests Burned Down in Western Negev by Terror Balloons

WOW. This is a much bigger problem than I imagined.

By Hana Levi Julian, JEWISH PRESS

More than half of the forests in the western Negev are now gone, burned down over the past six months by the Hamas terrorist organization in its arson terror campaign, according to a report prepared by the Jewish National Fund. The report summarizes the impact of the past six months of terror by the Arabs of Gaza.

According to KKL-JNF (Keren Kayemet Le’Israel-Jewish National Fund), since the beginning of the kite and balloon terror campaign (25 Nissan), more than 1,100 fires were recorded in KKL-JNF forests alone.

A Slap in Abbas’ Face as US Eliminates Eastern Jerusalem Consulate for PA Residents

By David Israel, JEWISH PRESS

The State Dept. is planning to merge its long-serving consulate in eastern Jerusalem with the newly created US embassy in the western part of the Israeli capital, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on Thursday. This step is viewed as yet another slap in the face of the Palestinian Authority and its chairman, Mahmoud Abbas, since the consulate has been serving Arabs from Judea and Samaria and from the eastern part of the city for decades.

The announcement also does away, for all intents and purposes, with the idea that President Trump was planning to turn the consulate into a US embassy in a new Palestinian State whose capital would be eastern Jerusalem.

Globalists have a population control agenda and are succeeding

The birth rate in the U.S. has fallen to a all-time record low

Most ordinary people don’t give too much thought to population issues, but for the elite this is like a religion.<

By Michael Snyder – End Of The American Dream –

Their Population Control Agenda Is Working – The Birth Rate In the United States Has Fallen To Another All-Time Record Low

The elite have worked very hard to slow down birth rates all over the world, and their efforts appear to be working.

Just as we have witnessed in so many other countries, the birth rate in the United States continues to fall.  In fact, it just plunged to yet another new all-time record low.  So why would the elite want this to happen?  Well, they believe that climate change is the greatest threat that our planet is facing, and they also believe that humans are the primary driver of climate change, and so they are convinced that if they can get people to have fewer babies they are actually “saving the world”.  And according to the most recent CDC numbers, they have made a tremendous amount of progress in accomplishing that mission

INTO THE FRAY: INSS’s puerile, preposterous proposal

By MARTIN SHERMAN

The cynically minded may be forgiven for suspecting that the prime goal of INSS’s newly launched plan is the demolition of Jewish communities, rather than the future resolution of conflict or enhanced Israeli security

It seems that if you have sufficient funds, there is no limit to the unmitigated nonsense you can promote in the guise of profound policy-oriented research.

Caroline Glick: Jewish Democrats Increasingly Anti-Israel

By Caroline Glick, BTEITBART

Jewish Democrats have long taken pride in the high number of American Jews serving as Democratic lawmakers in the House of Representatives and Senate.

Given that the Jewish community in the United States constitutes less than two percent of the general population, the fact that nearly two dozen American Jews serve in the House and Senate is a legitimate source of pride, regardless of party.

For the past fifity years, Democratic Jewish lawmakers like Representatives Tom Lantos, Howard Berman, Steven Solarz, Shelley Berkley, Jane Harman, Nita Lowy and Elliot Engel; and Senators like Joe Lieberman and Frank Lautenberg; played key roles in forging and maintaining their party’s strong support for Israel and the U.S.-Israel alliance.

Why isn’t Liberman talking about victory over Hamas

T. Belman. Currently, it is an embarassment for Israel that they haven’t been able to stop the attacks but at least no Jews have been killed so far. If Israel decided to fully invade and retake Gaza, many IDF soldiers would die and continue to die as the new occupation continued. It doesn’t seem worth it. We would be trading a bad situation for a worse one. Perhaps its time to start assassinating the leaders of Hamas whether they be in Gaza or elsewhere.

Both Israel and Hamas wanted quiet, they simply couldn’t agree on the terms for such a cessation of hostilities, settling instead of a series of minimal understandings.

BY TOVAH LAZAROFF, JPOST

hamas

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman sounds strong when he talks about a Gaza “military operation” and dealing Hamas “the harshest of blows.”

His words stoke the fantasy that Hamas violence, such as rockets and incendiary devices, would disappear if only the IDF would unleash its full military powers.

The Palestinian launch of two powerful rockets Wednesday morning – one that hit a home in the southern city of Beersheba and one that landed near the coast in the center of the country – almost seemed to be a way of egging Liberman on.

Developing Northern Sinai – A New Diplomatic Paradigm

T. Belman. The idea is to build a power plan and a desalination plant near Al Arish which is about 25 miles from Gaza. These facilities would be build by Sinai Bedouin and Gazans and would benefit Gaza. Hamas would benefit by finding a way to tax the earnings of the Gazans. There is no plan to allow Gazans to emigrate. I am for emigration not rebuilding.

Brig.-Gen. (ret.) Dr. Shimon Shapira and Shlomi Fogel, JCPA

Northern Sinai

The withdrawal of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas from the peace process, his actions against the Hamas leadership, the worsening of the economic situation in Gaza to the point of a humanitarian crisis, the escalation of military confrontation at the Gaza border, and the possibility of a descent into war have created a new crisis situation in Gaza. A new response is required that is different from what already exists. It should be based upon a new paradigm that is primarily supported by an element external to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but which has a direct and decisive influence upon it.

How the death of Khashoggi could affect Israel

T. Belman. Trump and Kushner have too much invested in MBS to let him go down.  So does Israel. The Deal of the Century depends on him.  Khashoggi was against any form of rapprochment and knew secrets that could undermine MBS. He was too dangerous to have around.

The PLO-Hamas divorce is final

Gaza’s culture is Bedouin, while that of Arabs in Judea and Samaria is that of farmers and city dwellers. That is only one of the reasons the two areas don’t mesh.

By Mordechai Kedar, INN

This week the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot informed us that Jason Greenblatt, President Trump’s special representative for international negotiations, said that the Americans intend to reconnect the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Authority. If Greenblatt actually did say that, it reveals an important component of the American Peace Plan whose preparation has been going on for over a year

Whoever included reconnecting Gaza to Judea and Samaria in the as-yet-unannounced plan must have been really impressed by the pronouncements of various Palestinian spokesmen, because all of them – to the very last one, whether PA or Hamas – keep harping on the need to  reunite the two “parts of the homeland.” Israel prefers having the two continue as separate entities hostile to one another. Polls taken in the PA show unequivocally that the Arab street, whether in Gaza or Judea and Samaria, wants the unification which fell apart when Hamas took over Gaza in June 2007.

Europe is the world turned upside down

What would Europe not do for oil and business?

By Giulio Meotti, INN

What is the country in Europe where the head of the largest opposition party is ordered by the judges to undergo a forensic psychiatric examination? Putin’s Russia? Kurz’s Austria? Orban’s Hungary? Poland? No, Macron’s France, the famous “alternative to illiberal democracy”.

In 2015 Marine Le Pen posted images of ISIS beheadings on Twitter. She is being investigated by the prosecutor of Nanterre for “dissemination of violent images”, she risks the suspension of the parliamentary immunity and now the magistrates also ordered her to go to a psychiatrist.

For years the French authorities tried to “deradicalize” the French beheaders, now the same authorities try to search the brain of the politician who posted the images of those beheadings. The jihadists will eventually refresh their heads.

Why the Khashoggi Murder Is a Disaster for Israel

The grisly hit-job on Khashoggi has implications far beyond its exposure of the Saudi Crown Prince as brutal and reckless. In Jerusalem and D.C., they’re mourning their whole strategic concept for the Mideast – not least, for countering Iran

The shocking brutality of Jamal Khashoggi’s abduction and murder by Saudi security forces cannot be papered over, no matter how implausibly it is dressed up as an interrogation gone wrong or the work of rogue actors.

But its implications go deeper than the tragedy visited upon Khashoggi’s family and fiancee. It raises fundamental questions for the United States and Israel about their whole strategic concept in the Middle East.

IDF says 20 Gaza targets bombed, including tunnels; blames Hamas for rockets

The Israeli military bombed 20 “military facilities” in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, the army said, in response to a predawn rocket attack that struck a home in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba, causing damage but no injury.

A second rocket fired from Gaza landed off the coast of the greater Tel Aviv area, known in Israel as Gush Dan, which consists of the metropolis itself along with a number of large suburbs.

JDCA Responds to Poll Indicating Overwhelming Disapproval of Trump Among Jewish Voters

T. Belman. The divide betweem American Jews and Israelis is too large to bridge. They support the two state solution, most Israelis don’t. They support the Iran deal, Israelis don’t. They support Muslim immigration, Israelis don’t. They reject Trump. Israelis love him.

Seventy-four percent of respondents plan to vote for Democrats for Congress in Nov.

Washington, DC – A new poll finds that 75 percent of American Jews disapprove of President Donald Trump, and that 74 percent plan on voting for Democratic candidates for Congress this fall. The survey was conducted by the Mellman Group on behalf of the Jewish Electoral Institute (JEI). The poll of 800 American Jewish voters confirms that American Jews remain firmly within the Democratic fold.

JEI is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization focused on deepening public’s understanding of the American Jewish electorate. This new organization is providing the public with information regarding the American Jewish electorate and leading a national, non-partisan Get Out The Jewish Vote effort.
