On Monday, 16 March, Israel’s Minister of Defense Israel Katz, was reported to have spoken that day at a meeting in the Kirya, Israel’s “Pentagon,” attended by the IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Tamir Yadai and head of Military Intelligence Shlomi Binder, describing a policy that was “shocking” for its break with years of leftist thinking, i.e. thinking peace with the Arabs is a possible goal with the right peace plan, when a more rational approach is fighting for Jewish rights.

18:44 – Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei vows revenge for killing of Larijani
In a statement attributed to new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, he vowed revenge for the killing of top official Ali Larijani.
“Undoubtedly, the assassination of such a personality indicates the extent of his importance and the hatred of the enemies of Islam toward him,” said the statement that was published through official channels of the leader’s office.

Peloni: Yishai Fleisher speaks with Eliyahu Yossian, Channel 14 analyst having previously served in Israel’s Intelligence Unit 8200 for 15 years, and who previously immigrated from Iran to Israel in 2003. Yossian makes many points here, but don’t miss his closing argument which clarifies the path to victory is for the regime in Iran to fall at all costs. While speaking as an Israeli, he challenges Americans to understand that if they do not want to remain a free people rather than being ruled under the will of China, Russia and Iran, ie Communism and Jihadism, they must support Pres. Trump in seeing this war through to victory.

Peloni: In addressing the importance of keeping the Straight of Hormuz open, Trump needs to solve the riddle of how to deal with the some 200,000 people whose very lives depend on the regime surviving this war, while also resolving the Gordian Knot regarding the lack of any organized opposition within Iran to transform what were protests into what is needed, ie an organized popular uprising. While Trump currently commands some 90% of support in the US to see the war through to victory, these are the challenges needed to gain that victory. The windfall of success in this war is enormous, but so too would be the catastrophe of failure, and the defining line between these two begins with the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, but it doesn’t end there.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance on Monday rebuffed a reporter who questioned him regarding past comments he has made about a potential conflict with Iran and U.S. military intervention in other countries.
Peloni: The streets of Iran are being cleared of the totalitarian forces holding the people in check. The campaign to give the people of Iran a voice and a choice is well underway. 16:31 – IDF detects Hezbollah preparations for large-scale rocket attack later today
“In recent hours, the IDF has detected expanded preparations by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to launch rocket barrages toward the State of Israel in the coming hours,” the IDF warned.
Several days ago, the IDF had apologized for not issuing a warning to the public after receiving similar intelligence.

Ali Larijani, a key behind-the-scenes figure in Iran, was killed in an IDF strike, leaving a major gap in the regime’s leadership amid growing instability.
This comes days after he and other regime members had appeared in public during Friday’s Quds Day events. Larijani was rumored to be one of the Tehran regime’s figures who might assume leadership after Israel and US strikes on February 28 killed other regime officials, including the supreme leader.
