Peloni: The massive, near total, victories enjoyed in this war by Israel and the US were of course unthinkable just 20 months ago, but we should recognize the still present threat, along with the will to work it, which remains within the Iranian regime which the US was resolved to not overturn, and that threat is directed at the US as much as it is at Israel. Whereas the need of long-term commitments to the US was avoided in this war, it also preserved the long-term resolve of the Iranian regime to attack the US. Indeed, among the achievements which were not included in this was was the dissolution of the Iranian tentacles which stretch straight up to the Western Hemisphere and cross the Mexican-American border as well. This is not a hypothetical concern, but a very well acknowledged threat which looms as the last untouched asset of the still empowered Ayatollah regime, which might be used to attack the American homeland in the wake of withholding support for regime change in Iran during this war. Meanwhile, the Mullahs remain adamant in their intent to rebuild their nuclear program, and are not disbanding their aim of developing a missile capable of sending a nuclear payload towards the American people. Hence, preserving the Ayatollahs in power has only served to preserve the threat which looms over the combined Israeli, American and Western nations, and even today is continuing to act with impunity against the Iranian people once again. Consider what was gained over the last century from the real policy of Unconditional Surrender when the Axis powers chose to NOT let the Nazi regime remain in power in Germany, and then consider the many regrets which can arise from such a policy not being included in the goals of the 12 Day War.

War is not chaos. It is the deliberate application of force in pursuit of political objectives. Every modern conflict must be judged according to those objectives. In the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, three major actors pursued distinct goals: Israel, Iran, and the United States.

Zohran Mamdani, who has been chosen by 5% of the electorate and by the Democrat Party, as their candidate, appeared at a Brooklyn terror mosque where an Imam had previously prayed that Allah aid Hamas terrorists and “guide their shooting”.
In January, Mamdani, a Muslim candidate who only recently became a citizen, tweeted that he was joining “Jummah prayers at the Islamic Society of Bay Ridge today.” The tweet showed him appearing to speak next to Imam Muhammad Al-Barr.
Leaders around the world now need to push for a nuclear deal with a much-weakened Tehran
By Yossi Kuperwasser | June 25, 2025
For more than a decade, the world has been discussing what to do about Iran’s nuclear program. But now, after Israel’s preemptive assault on the country’s nuclear facilities — and the U.S. strikes on nuclear plants in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan — Tehran’s stranglehold on the Middle East has vastly loosened, and the specter of a nuclear arms race in the region greatly diminished.
The big question is: How does this attack on Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missiles programs shape what comes after the ceasefire?
Europol reports indicate that Europe is now home to tens of thousands of radicalized individuals. The attacks in Paris (2015) and Brussels (2016) demonstrate the feasibility of complex operations by small groups. Will people who criticize Islam be dragged through the courts by a desperate regime, while those who outspokenly fantasize about murdering Jews are granted a blank check?
Peloni: The regime in Iran is a threat against Israel, the US and the entire West. Their focus is based upon a ideology which has fueled the slaughter of so many innocents over the entire history of this regime’s existence. They are deserving of no life line which preserves their despotic regime, no financing from the US or the region, and zero nuclear capabilities. No matter whether the Iranians have the means or spirit to free themselves from the clutches of this savage Armageddonist regime, this regime remains a threat to the free nations of the Western world, and are even now failing to offer so much as a hudna of contrition. End them now before they end us all.

Regime change in Iran? Absolutely.
Trump was wrong in keeping this death cult in place. A death cult that has killed more of its own people than Americans and Israelis combined, and that number is enormous.
The history behind Israel’s essential response to Iran’s war of elimination against the Jewish state.
As a shaky Israel-Iran ceasefire holds, the question remains: Does the Islamic Republic's nuclear program still pose a notable risk? @JSchanzer is joined on the FDD Morning Brief by @jconricus & @Brad_L_Bowman to analyze. https://t.co/RuBVrrI8id

A network of Islamist clerics is exploiting the conflict in Iran to push its hardline agenda. Scholars aligned with the pro-Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar-based International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) are celebrating Iranian missile attacks on Tel Aviv. On June 23, the IUMS published an article by Turkish scholar and politician Yasin Aktay, who exulted how “the Arab streets received the images of Iranian missiles striking Tel Aviv with overwhelming joy!” Another IUMS member posted on X, “let there be more [Iranian strikes] and bless [those who carry them out].”
And the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is poised to exploit it.

So much has been written about “the day” after Hamas in Gaza. However, what comes next in Iran is a far more consequential scenario for U.S. national security, global power competition and regional stability.
Iran is entering a dangerous new phase—not one shaped by diplomacy but by the unchecked consolidation of military power by the regime’s most formidable force: the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). That vacuum of power has been accelerated by Israel’s June 2025 air campaign, which struck deep inside Iran, targeting the IRGC’s military infrastructure and leadership in the past 20 months of degrading its proxy network.
Peloni: This report of a transactional deal securing the framework of the Two State Solution for the future, as first described by Israel Hayom, if accurate, would stand as a great betrayal to the efforts and endurance of the Israeli people over the past nearly two years who have suffered the sacrifices of war to roll back the tragedies which arose from pursuing the failed Two State Paradigm. In fact, the TSS is a well established path towards war, and not towards peace, and every effort to secure this paradigm betrays the significant sacrifices which have been spent in this war towards eradicating the threats which arose due to the TSS policies which have been secured in place over the years, and which led to the many and gross security failures preceding October 7.
In the last few hours, the Prime Minister’s Office has related that the Israel Hayom report is false, stating that the meeting described “did not take place ” and that ” “Israel was not presented with a proposal that was supposedly described in the article, and it obviously did not agree to it.”
After Muslim terrorists attacked the St. Elias church in Damascus, killing 25 Christians and wounding over 60 others, there were more questions than answers about the attack.
While the official Syrian government position is that it was a lone ISIS gunman, Christian witnesses report multiple attackers, and in Syria, ISIS is a term that conceals more than it reveals. Especially when the government is run by members of Islamic terrorist groups with their own ties to Al Qaeda and ISIS. A terrorist government that despite playing up to President Trump, to America and Europe is not actually very friendly to its Christian population.
Peloni: Middle East scholar at the Hudson Institute, Zineb Riboua, discusses Operation Rising Lion. Riboua suggests that the Iranians were complacent, ignoring the tell-tale signs of Israel’s likely strategy which were missed by Iran and which were present in the killing of Haniyeh and the decapitating of Hezbollah in the Pagers Attack. She also relates the importance of the ongoing protests in Iran which likely aided Israel’s human intellegence operation in planning and staging its offensive. In the aftermath of the attack Riboua suggests that Iran’s weakness will lead to a slow disintegration of the the Iranian crescent. She also discusses the possible effects of the recent war on the Iranian popultion.
Peloni: Since returning to the White House, many have called on Trump to help quash the Lawfare attacks on Netanyahu, and it seems that those calls have not gone unnoticed. Still, what might have been far more useful and far more legitimate than Trump’s call for the Lawfare cases against Netanyahu to be dropped, would have been to disclose the role which the US likely had in supporting or advocating those cases to be formed against Netanyahu over the past decade. Indeed, Israel is a sovereign nation, and it should be left to govern itself, by itself, but having all the facts in hand, along with any documented evidence between Israeli and the US representatives relating to these cases, for example, would be very empowering to the Israeli people, and the Israeli legal system as well. Using the persona of Trump to intervene on Netanyahu’s behalf in these Lawfare cases only serves to entrench what should be seen as being an infringement of Israeli sovereignty.

U.S. President Donald Trump caused a stir this morning when he posted a scathing critique of Israel’s legal system, calling the ongoing trial of Prime Minister Netanyahu a “witch hunt” and a “travesty of justice.”
It is important to clarify, that it is not right for the US President to interfere in our internal political affairs. However, this “involvement” is nothing like the involvement of the various Obama and Biden administrations that gave millions of dollars to the opposition in Israel to topple Netanyahu.
Peloni: Israel refocuses towards crushing Gaza with important claims being made about negotiations, more noise without substance I suspect, but we will see. Also discussed is the massive destruction of the IRGC command structure as well as the regional power shift and Iranian responses associated with this. It is unfortunate that Iranians seem to be sitting on their hands, as Or Yissachar, the IDSF Head of Research, anticipated might take place last fall, but perhaps subsequent events in the coming days will change this situation. I think no one should be mistaken into believing this war is yet over.
