Trump: U.S. to ‘probably’ strike Iran tonight; oil prices rise

Peloni:  In this press conference Trump addresses his being targeted for assassination at least twice and dodges explanations about why he is no longer flying the Qatari plane more than once by incredulously explaining that the plane will be going to US bases in Europe for the soldiers to see.  He also explains that his previous description of the ‘rational’ new leaders in Iran was found to be in error after he came “to know them”.  He also suggest that “We can play games, but I’m not sure I want to make a deal. I’ll just finished the job.”  Article below discusses this in detail.  He goes on to state that while he hasn’t decided about giving the F-35 to Turkey, he is inclined to do so even as he acknowledges that Erodgan is not a ‘fan’ of Netanyahu or Israel.

In looking at all that has taken shape since the MOU came to replaced the war, it must be recalled that Trump’s acknowledged reason for entertaining the MOU was to calm energy markets.  This was achieved, but Iran’s incessantly petulant nature has come to recurrently threaten this basis for continuing the MOU.  So are we back to war now?  Well, we will see, but as I have noted previously, the situation in Iran can only end with the clear capitulation of America or Iran, and I still don’t believe that Trump is going to make his legacy that of capitulating to Iran, but we will see.

Regarding the F-35s going to Turkey, it isn’t going to happen.  Too many vested political interests in the US would need to support this change in US policy, and the current political environment is not suitable to support such a change, no matter what Trump decides.

Israel: Rule of Law in Crisis

Peloni:  This is an important move by the govt to assert the limitation of the High Court.  It also has important applications as a standing precedent for the govt to act in a similar manner going into the future.  Notably, the Opposition Parties are pressing to support the insanity of having an unlimited authority of the judiciary while diminishing the authority of the govt which was empowered by the same democratic election process which empowered the Opposition Parties to have any voice in what they are supporting.  The laws must be enforced, and the courts should be used to measure and consider laws, but the whole cloth effort by the High Court to deem that it has the power to either write its own legislation or to ignore long existing and enforced legislation (as is the case in the matter at hand), exposes the extra judicial nature of the power which the High Court is employing, and in which the Opposition Parties are supporting that they do.  What the High Court and its allies are advocating is not democracy.  It is tyranny.

U.S. Central Command forces have begun launching a series of powerful strikes against Iran to impose heavy costs for targeting and attacking commercial shipping crewed by innocent civilians in an international waterway. The U.S. strikes are in response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels that were transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s demonstrated aggression was unwarranted, dangerous, and a clear violation of the ceasefire.

Israel’s alliance with Jordan under pressure as water dispute deepens

Update: Im Tirtu:  Officials in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are being forced to consider the restoration of full diplomatic relations with Israel (which were downgraded by Jordan after October 7) following the expiration of Israel’s 2021 agreement to double its 50 million cubic meter annual water commitments to the Hashemite Kingdom, according to a Kan News report.

Israel still supplies the initial 50 million annual cubic meters of water to Jordan mandated in their 1994 peace agreement, with Energy Minister Eli Cohen holding steadfast against renewing the 2021 doubling of water provisions until full diplomatic relations are restored.

Israel and Jordan are at odds over a longstanding water-sharing agreement, with Jerusalem signaling it intends to reduce water exports to its eastern neighbor unless diplomatic relations improve – a dispute that is testing one of Israel’s most important regional partnerships.

Penalties for the Weaponizing of Savagery

Peloni:  Actually, those responsible for the weaponizing of psychopathy under the tuteledge of UNWRA are guilty of War Crimes, great slaughters, and the psychological abuse of generations of children while significantly profitting from these miseries, tortures and savageries. Such high crimes committed at the societal level should warrant a sentence of death, not prison.

Iran Caught Building Underground Nuclear Facility While Negotiating With US

IRGC fires at two ships in Hormuz Strait as US & Iran continue mutual threats

Peloni:  The war continues, even as we are being told that negotiations are proceeding.  The end of the war will only come from a surrender by the US or by Iran, so we will see what comes next, but I don’t anticipate the US surrendering, and Iran will not allow such a surrender to be ambiguous or inconsequential.  This is why I have been stating that this war is not over, and so far events have not changed my view in stating this, and in fact, the Iranian burial of their previous leadership has only made this conclusion all the more likely.

From Israel: A Cry from the Heart While America Celebrates 250 years!!

Peloni:  I am old enough to recall President Trump describing Qatar as having “historically been a funder of terrorism at a very high level.”  In fact, it was less than ten years ago when Trump began to shift his revulsion for the Muslim Brotherhood terror entity of Qatar, and it can hardly be said to be because Qatar has become less inclined to either manipulate American society against America values, nor could it be said to be because this terror enclave became less supportive of terrorism.  The consequences of Qatar being raised to significant status by American elites, is not making America safer, nor is it making the Middle East more stable, which draws some of Trump’s strongest supporters to question why he might have chosen to so closely align with Qatar.

Trump reportedly ready to sell F-35s to Turkey, the opposition’s Tour de France strategy, and more.

Paul Schnee:  What is Trump thinking? Turkey, led by an Islamic supremacist, should not even be a member of NATO. Under no circumstances should it ever get its grubby Jew-hating hands on F-35s.

Next to Iran, Turkey is Israel’s greatest enemy. A cursory analysis of Turkey’s official statements reveals it is, at best, a perfidious ally of America and the West.

Our ambassador there, Tom Barrack, is a prime example of why large donors should not be rewarded for their financial support by being appointed to positions for which they are entirely unsuited.

If someone from Lockheed Martin or the current administration were to pass on secret information about our F-35s to the Turks they would be charged with treason. It’s difficult to distinguish that from what the president and Tom Barrack are currently intending to do to.

Hamas Just OFFICIALLY SURRENDERED (But There’s One HUGE Problem)

Peloni:  Trump’s 20 Point Plan which was to bring about ‘Peace in Our Time’, and which was adopted into UN Security Council Resolution 2803, has always been nothing more than a device by the war in Gaza would be ended without the destruction of Hamas, and to subsequently create a second Palestinian state.   This was clear enough when, like clockwork, all demands for Hamas to be disarm were ignored as if this fact was not a clear violation of Resolution 2803, even though they were to be disarmed within 36hrs, which was last October.  The latest push towards goals is being hidden in the skulldugery of claims of Hamas ‘turning’ over the governance to the technocratic govt in Gaza.  Don’t be fooled by this ruse, as Rabbi Pesach Wolicki explains in this very important video.

Aish, À Timely Message from a Wide assortment of Indigenous Peoples, and additional Supporting Information

A wonderful source of reliable information, Aish.com (Aish Ha Torah…the awesome fire/passion of the Torah), recently published a very timely, welcome article detailing the support Israel and the Jewish People are receiving from other indigenous peoples at a time when larger countries are either reverting back to their old millennial religiously inspired prejudices against Jews and now their nation as well (in both Christian and Muslim lands), or are simply jumping onto the hate Israel bandwagon due to ignorance.
