High Noon in Israel

Peloni:  Excellent article by Katsman describing the corruption and moral failing of the West, and the hope for the greater moral clarity as the Trump administration is about to take over.

The lone man of principle faces down a menace.  The stakes are high; the odds of success are not.  Yet, bolstered by that principle, he defeats the menace.

That motif runs through our culture, our history, and our mythology, and especially our cinema.  Americans in particular so strongly identify with versions of these morality tales that we invented an entire genre — the Western.

FOREIGN PODICY | Deal of the Century?

Peloni:  The first half of this conversation provides granular detail of how the deal will play, but the second half discusses the likelihood that the deal will not move beyond Phase 1, and the likely consequences of the deal.

‘Anti-Semitism’? No Such Thing

By Sha’i ben-Tekoa | Am Thinker | Jan 15, 2025

Image: Nazi pseudoscience about Semitic identity. Fair use.

About a century before the current crop of deceitful neologisms invaded and polluted our minds—e.g. homophobia, islamophobia, transphobia, etc.—”anti-Semitism” preceded them. Like the others, it is illogical and untruthful. For there to be such a thing as anti-Semitism, there first must be a thing called Semitism, when there is not now and never was.

“Holy War: Rome And The Jews” Excerpt 2

Peloni:  As a follow-up to our publication of excerpts from Joseph Shellim’s “Philistine-To-Palestine”, we are happy to be able to present a series of excerpts from his informative BEN HUR II – EXILE” [aka “HOLY-WAR: ROME AND THE JEWS.  Below is the second installment.  Link at bottom for previous installment

Joseph Shellim

HOLY WAR – ROME’S MARCH OF MIGHT

As the dawn breaks, Mighty Rome’s war processions have burst forth like a gigantic caterpillar heaving through the cobbled stone grounds of the ancient towns of Judea. The Hebrew scribe Josephus is now embedded in Rome’s march of might, to account history’s greatest super power marching to the calamitous destination of the famed holy city of Jerusalem.

‘Not Under Pressure or Sanctions’: Tehran and Key European Powers Discuss Resuming Nuclear Talks

FDD | Jan 16, 2025

Latest Developments

  • Iran and E3 Hold Talks: Diplomats from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom — known as the E3 — met with Iranian officials in Geneva on January 14 to discuss the possibility of resuming nuclear negotiations. The meeting marked the second round of talks in less than two months, following a discreet meeting in November.
  • Regime Seeks Sanctions Relief Prior to Talks With Washington: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on January 14 that the regime will not negotiate with the incoming Trump administration unless “they return to the [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)]” negotiated in 2015, adding that Tehran would engage in talks on condition that these take place “not under pressure and sanctions.” Araghchi had previously expressed the same sentiment during a meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi in November.

It is too soon to be too distraught about the hostage deal

Peloni:  The next few months are critical for Trump on many areas of import.  Hopefully Trump will demonstrate that the huge cost of forcing Israel to accept this surrender deal will be worth the undisclosed potential benefits which may stand in the not too distant future.

Trump’s desire to seal a pre-inauguration deal forced Israel’s acquiescence.

There is widespread and justifiable disappointment, unto anger, about the just announced hostage deal. Yes, thankfully, hostages are going to be released. But the price being paid is steep.

Will Yemen’s Houthis get away with a year of attacks on Israel? – analysis

Peloni:  Trump must take back control securing the freedom of the seas, in such a way that it is seen that this is taking place on his terms and not those of the Houthis.  Failing to do so will only lead to the grasp of US impotence growing under the return of Trump to the White House rather than the opposite.

The message from the Houthis is that they decide the time and place of attacks. The message they think will resonate is that they got away with this. Time will tell if this is the case.

However, the Houthis appear to be holding out for certain conditions to be met. This has left those closely monitoring the Red Sea with questions about what comes next. Read more…

Erdogan demands that Israel withdraw from Syria and ‘everyone take their hands off Syria’

Peloni:  Turkey stands as a looming threat to regional stability, as it leads the radical Sunni axis in opposition to both the Iranian radical Shiite axis, as well as to Israel and the moderate Sunni states.

By

Turkey is a dangerous Islamic supremacist state under its President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has expansionary goals of a revived Ottoman Empire with himself as caliph. And he’s getting closer.

The Imam on Trump’s Inauguration Program

The enemy within is already trying to burrow inside.

Daniel Greenfield | Jan 17, 2025

“The time may be soon to go back home,” Imam Husham Al-Husainy told CBS News. The year was 2003 and Al-Husainy, along with the other Iraqi Shiite ‘refugees’ filling Dearborn’s Muslim community, had gotten their fondest wish when the United States removed Saddam Hussein.

Huge CIA fake vaccination scandal of the past reveals parallels to COVID

Peloni:  Mike Benz continues to reveal significant aspects of the Bureaucratic Leviathan in Washington, but I have to admit that among the many report, scandals and revelations made by Benz, this piece exposes a particularly troubling aspect of the weaponization of modern society to support the nefarious goals of the intelligence community.  After all, medicine is meant to treat the ill, to cure the injured, and bring comfort to those in great need of it, so enveloping and manipulating the trust and inspirations of the medical field into a whole of society perversion towards other objectives, stands as an uniquely despicable project, and a complete betrayal of the moral compass upon which medical interventions are based.

Terror Pays Off: Inside Israel’s Painful Hostage Deal with Hamas

Peloni:  The strengthening of Hamas thru this hostage deal is highly damaging.  It demonstrates the strength of Hamas both inside Gaza, and to the Arab street inside Israel and the PA.  As KuperWasser describes it, terror pays off.  The repercussions for this debacle stand as a great betrayal to the lives which have been lost thus far in this war, and a resounding victory to those who advocated for Israel to capitulate to Hamas rather than persevere onward towards victory.

Why Aren’t Hospitals Incentivized To Save Lives?

What makes hospitals so deadly and how can we fix it?

A Midwestern Doctor | Jan 16, 2025

Story at a Glance

•Throughout COVID-19, abysmal hospital care and the suppression of effective off-patent therapies killed approximately a million Americans. Much of this originated from Obamacare pressuring hospitals to aggressively treat patients so they could quickly leave the hospital and reduce healthcare costs.

•More frail patients respond poorly to aggressive protocols, resulting in them frequently being pushed into palliative care or hospice. Sadly doctors are no longer trained to gradually bring their patients back to health, and hence view many of those deaths as inevitable.
