Much of the Democrats’ left-wing base disagrees with progressives being the loudest voices raised against Israel. Tens of thousands of 155mm artillery shells, thousands of bunker-buster munitions and 200 kamikaze drones – these are just some weapons and ammunition Israel has asked the U.S. for since the beginning of the war in Gaza.

An internal Pentagon document revealed by Bloomberg on Wednesday details the requests made by “a senior Israeli leader” in late October. The list also includes 2,000 Hellfire laser-guided missiles for Apache gunships and 36,000 rounds of 30mm ammunition for its cannon.

Israel’s Apache helicopters have been operating constantly since the early hours of October 7, closely assisting ground forces in the Gaza Strip and on the Lebanon border.

Extraordinary video footage was published Wednesday from the dashboard of a truck belonging to a farmer from the area near the Gaza border who rescued some 120 young people trying to escape from an open-air party on October 7, as Hamas terrorists sprayed them with bullets.

Israeli officials passed a message to the American government that Israel will agree to an international force governing Gaza.

Kan reports that Israel sent a message by way of White House the advisor for Middle East affairs, Brett McGurk, that it would agree to a deal in which an international force would rule the Gaza Strip after the war.

According to the report, Israeli officials who met with McGurk expressed their consent to the idea and emphasized that the Palestinian Authority, in its current state, would not be able to rule the Gaza Strip.

As the world knows, or very tellingly, should know, the Israeli Defense Force goes to great lengths to spare the lives of Gazans presumed innocent. In the moral smog of war, this important fact is usually overlooked by the international crowd of Israel critics.

The IDF gave abundant warning to Gazans with leaflets and even phone calls to go to the south of Gaza, out of the immediate war zone. Some Gazans did head south, waving white flags and getting shot at by their own Hamas government. Others stayed, even though they were offered a substantial reward and a safe place to live if they cooperated in getting the hostages out.
