Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday defended his government’s plans to establish a “National Commission of Inquiry,” rather than a state-level commission, amid withering criticism from the opposition and the justice system.

Importantly, Ettinger explains that the point which must be made clear in Washington is that the sale of F35s will seriously diminish US interests in the region by granting the Muslim Brotherhood led Turkey access to the intelligence gathering, stealth capabilities, and fighter capacity of the F35s, much of which was secured by Israel’s role in the refining and saving the F35 from failure, which is where it was headed prior to the advances which Israel developed for the program.
Peloni: Vance tries to gaslight the rising tide of Jew Hatred in the US on both the Right and the Left as being “real backlash to a consensus view in American foreign policy”. America needs a champion which will enforce the laws of the land, but to do so, it requires a person of character and integrity which can recognize when the laws are being breached and who can exercise the moral stamina to counter those breaches. Antisemitism is growing at a record pace in America, but the vice president only sees it as a basis on which to promote his own foreign policy agenda. This is a very dangerous standard to support. With Rubio recently announcing he would not run against Vance, and both Erica Kirk and Tucker Carlson have endorsed Vance for a 2028 election run, making both Vance’s moral cowardice and his political maniupulation on the topic of antisemitism all the more relevant and troubling.

A major gun battle developed in Aleppo between law enforcement of the government in Damascus and local security forces of two Kurdish neighborhoods.
This is not the first time that there have been clashes in Aleppo in these areas. However, this battle quickly threatened to escalate until a ceasefire was announced.
The Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court on Monday extended for another 90 days the suspension of Arnon Bar-David, chairman of Israel’s powerful Histadrut labor federation, amid a widening corruption investigation.
Judge Dorit Saban-Noy ruled in favor of state prosecutors, citing strong evidence and ongoing risks of obstruction if Bar-David resumes his role while the case remains in its early investigative stages. The extension keeps Bar-David from any involvement with Histadrut institutions until at least late March 2026.

Israel recently killed a senior Hamas military commander who was one of the architects of the Massacre of October 7th and was chastised by Trump for “breaking the “ceasefire.” Iran remains (since 1979) the strongest sponsor of the PLO/Fatah terrorist organization.
Lenny Ben-David, the author of Sunni and Terrorist Networks: Competition or Collusion wrote: “The Palestinian assertion that Sunni and Shiite terrorist groups do not cooperate is baseless and historically wrong. Recent history has demonstrated that there are few religious-ideological barriers in the world of international terrorism.” Especially when it comes to Israel.
Both are mortal enemies who share a deadly hostility for Israel.

Peloni: Aynaz makes an important point here. As I have noted in the past, the relationship between Russia and Iran is one of convenience and necessity, not one of commitment and reliabilities. They will make use of one another as it benefits them, but they will not act to support one another in any way which comes at a cost.
From conquest to cover-up, the betrayal stayed consistent
Last week, Israel’s internal security service indicted a Russian citizen for spying on behalf of Iran. He entered the country on a work visa, photographed ports, ships, and critical infrastructure, and communicated with an Iranian intelligence handler in exchange for payment.
Israel treats it as espionage. Iran treats it as normal. Russia treats it as a cost worth the cause. And America still treats it as a strategic partnership.
It’s not against the law to paint an antisemitic mural.
But that doesn’t mean that a museum is required to display it—especially when that museum is funded by taxpayers.
The museum in question is the History Colorado Center, a state institution, which commissioned a local artist named Madalyn Drewno to paint a portrait of Denver’s Vietnamese immigrant community.

Let me repeat what I’ve been saying since Day 1 of these ceasefire proposals.
No one else is going to rebuild Gaza except us. No one else is going to police Gaza except us. If we don’t want to be stuck with any of that, we need to drop the fake ‘ceasefire’ and end our involvement in Gaza. Because what’s waiting for us isn’t just nation building or even nation building on steroids, but nation building on crack.

Many people have noted the irony: New York City, which jihadis hit so hard on September 11, 2001, have now elected as mayor a man who is a Twelver Shi’te Muslim, the same sect whose adherents among the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran regularly scream “Death to America.” How could New Yorkers have elected such a man as mayor, when New York City, above all other cities in the United States, knows what jihad is all about? The answer to that question is that New Yorkers don’t actually know what jihad is all about. They’ve been systematically lied to, most egregiously in New York City schools. Now, a New York Republican is trying to bring this travesty to an end.
Peloni: The US attacks Isis in northern Syria while Israel attacks them in the south, and Lebanon claims they are amusingly close to begin disarming Hezbollah.
Peloni: The question arises as to whom the Israeli public are more comfortable with conducting an investigation of the October 7 failures: the bureaucrats over whom the public have no control or leverage, or the politicians who are chosen by the public. Implications and interests abound among each, but only the politicians will pay a direct price if they are perceived to be obfuscating rather then revealing what took place. Additionally, the politicians alone were chosen by the public in the first place.

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara once again expressed her opposition to the government’s plans on Sunday, this time, excoriating the coalition for bills aiming to establish a commission of inquiry into the failings leading to the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas massacre, and to close down Army Radio.
