“Erdogan is in a way the current caliph of Muslims, and Istanbul is undoubtedly the capital of the Islamic caliphate.” — Yusuf al-Qaradawi, late Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader, 20141

There was a time when I was proud to be Canadian. Truly proud. I believed Canada stood for tolerance, decency, and moral clarity. I believed that, whatever our flaws, we had at least learned from history. I believed we had confronted our failures honestly, absorbed the lesson, and emerged as a country that knew the difference between right and wrong.
Paul Schnee: The hateful effort described below is a clear indication of just how much influence the Jew-haters in the Democrat Party have managed to gain in spite of overwhelming but tragically misplaced support from the Jewish community over the decades.
The so-called SQUAD is now at the ideological forefront of a political party that has turned not only on the Jewish community but also on what it means to be an American which is to say it has embraced cultural Marxism, Islamic fascism, open borders, criminal illegal aliens, decriminalizing crime, voter fraud, massive Minnesotan Somali fraud, the divisiveness of identity politics over beneficial policies and it has abandoned merit replacing it with DEI. Why? Because that is where it thinks the votes are to provide it with a permanent majority in its anxious pursuit of the Holy Grail of a one-party-state. This cynicism has transformed the Democrat Party into an enemy of the people making it a real danger to the survival of our democratic republic and the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever seen.
“President Trump is reevaluating everything, NATO involvement, support for Europe in Ukraine, and all U.S. actions. Everything is on the table.”

In an interview with Sean Hannity, Sec. of State Marco Rubio stated that the U.S. is approaching the “finish line” in its war with Iran, and it could potentially be resolved within a few weeks. He warned that Iran had been pursuing long-range missile capabilities similar to North Korea, while also confirming ongoing back-channel communications, which have been taking place between Washington and Tehran. Rubio also raised sharp criticism against America’s NATO allies, describing the relationship as a “one-way street” after some allies denied the U.S. access to bases during the conflict. He also suggested the relationship may need reevaluation. His remarks came as the war entered its fifth week, amid rising oil prices and global economic uncertainty.
Peloni: Is this hypothesis about why the US has failed to open the Strait of Hormuz proving accurate? Well, if Trump is about to declare victory after having not achieved victory, John Konrad’s analysis offer us some insight as to why he would choose such a course.

By Captain John Konrad (Opinion) – The Strait of Hormuz is twenty-one miles wide. Two shipping channels, each two miles across, separated by a two-mile buffer. There is no alternative. Saudi Arabia’s East-West Pipeline to Yanbu and the UAE’s pipeline to Fujairah can handle maybe five million barrels combined. The math doesn’t work. The bottleneck is not political. It is geological and hydrographic.
Peloni: Very clear eyed discussion exposing the motivations for the “Settler Violence” campaign (timestamp 5min-17min). Also note the discussion about the attempt to have President Trump intercede in Israeli politics against the Israeli Deep State using his sanctions policy (20min-26min). And much more…

The United Arab Emirates is preparing to join potential military operations to open the Strait of Hormuz, The Wall Street Journal reported, after U.S. President Trump signaled he wants U.S. allies to deal with opening the strategic waterway.
Peloni: The fundamental reform which might provide for the securing of the survival and revival of the American Republic is to deal with the issue of election fraud in the US. While various attempts to solve this problem via legislation has failed to materialize, Trump has taken to dealing with at least the issue of Mail-in Voting via a new Executive Order. Will the courts allow Trump’s proactive attempts of securing the will of the people to stand, or will they fail Americans once again as they did back in aftermath of the 2020 election.

In the Middle East, Turkey seeks to play a key role if and when the Iran conflict winds down. Ankara will seek to grow its influence as Iran’s influence declines.

Turkey is positioning itself to play a key role when the Iran conflict winds down. The conflict has led to chaos in the region, and it remains to be seen if the US and Israel can come up with a strategy to deal with Iran or what comes next. Turkey is also thinking of its next steps. Not involving itself in the conflict enables Ankara to work with both sides. Turkey is a NATO ally and has also had amicable ties with Iran in the past.
Which country is the staunchest ally of the US? Is it Britain, Canada, or Australia? No, it’s Israel! First of all, none of those three English-speaking countries have a strong military, especially the latter two.
Regarding relations as between the USA and Iran: from the time when the latter’s Mullahs obtained control (having been sheltered by France prior), they have always taken advantage of the USA, and many others. Prior, the Shah took over parts of the oil, gas & territories of countries on the other side of the waterways now under siege, while also attacking them in that they had no defense. The UAE was a primary target. It had claims as noted.
Peloni: As if there was any need to demonstrate that Lebanon has absolutely NO control over Iran or its proxy Hezbollah, after expelling Iran’s ambassador, he remains in place with complete impunity, even as Iran’s leadership lies in tatters, and its assets are being significantly degraded daily. So please, let’s hear no more about the nonsensical notion that the LAF, or President Aoun will do anything to diminish, disarm, or dismantle Iran’s proxy force which occupies and controls Lebanon. So long as the Mullahs and the IRGC control Iran, they will control Lebanon. It is just that simple.
‘Iranian ambassador is sipping his coffee in Beirut’, mocks Israel’s FM Sa’ar
Last Sunday, the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon was supposed to leave the country after the government in Beirut declared him a “persona non grata” – but Mohammad Reza Sheibani refused to leave and is reportedly still holed up in the embassy building.
Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar seized on this incident to highlight the lack of authority the government is exercising in its own country, blasting Lebanon as a puppet state of the Iranian regime.
Peloni: The UN is complicit in the very tragedies which it was grounded upon preventing. Its support of terrorists, internatoinal strife, and overall antithesis towards resolving conflicts should be enough for them to be shuttered, but instead, the money keeps flowing and the tragedies keep building.
The more money the UN sends, the more hostages the terrorists take.

Every March 25th, the UN commemorates its ‘International Day of Solidarity with Detained and Missing Staff Members’ while trying not to discuss who is kidnapping them.
The ‘International Day of Solidarity with Detained and Missing Staff Members’ commemorates the day when Alec Collett, a UN Information Center director, was kidnapped by a Hezbollah front group on March 25th, 1985, in Lebanon. He was held hostage and then a video was released of him being hanged. His remains were eventually recovered in Lebanon in 2009.
Peloni: Highly recommended video. I could not be more pleased by the passage of this long overdue legislation which provides for the execution of those convicted of terrorism. Only in Israel do world leaders voice objections to such routine expectations of terrorists facing the death penalty. In fact, the international objections to the execution of terrorists parallels the funding which the international community has provided for the tutelage of these terrorist under the learned auspices of UNRWA. Indeed, the hypocrisy behind hypocritical this outcry would be obnoxious if it were so transparently intent upon preserving the psychopaths who were specifically weaponized to bring about the slaughter and mayhem which has become normative in Israel over the past decades without the polical will in Israel to end such norms. Well, October 7 changed this, and hopefully the passage of this law will be but only the first of many such legislative changes which mark the will to institute realized justice and security in Israel.

We are living through a moment that, just a few years ago, would have seemed unimaginable. The United States, Israel, and in many ways the entire free world are blessed to have a president like Donald Trump, someone who not only puts America’s interests first, but also clearly understands that a strong, sovereign Israel is a strategic asset to the United States, not a burden. Rarely, if ever, has there been an American president so willing to challenge failed assumptions, speak in terms of strength, and recognize the Middle East for what it is, not what US policymakers wish it to be.
The IDF has yet to shift into a higher gear in its war against Hezbollah. It is proceeding hesitantly and inching its way slowly toward the Litani River, as though it still has not decided where it is headed, as though President Donald Trump will not soon tell us to stop.

Trump’s traffic light is already flashing. All that remains is to wait and see whether the green light appears, followed by the US stepping up its war against Iran, forcefully reopening the Strait of Hormuz to shipping and capturing Kharg Island, through which Iran exports its oil; or whether the red light appears, bringing the war to an end through an agreement that guarantees the continued rule of the ayatollah regime in Tehran.
Peloni: Meira K provides an important analysis of the importance, resilience and power held by the Houthis as they have succeeded in surviving after having taken on both Israel and the US and an international coalition last year. She also explains the important consequences of that conflict and the important strategy behind their choice to enter the current war at exactly this moment.

Every day now in Eretz Yisrael, or so it seems, missiles and drones launched and fired by Shiite Muslims in Iran and Lebanon frighten hundreds of thousands, even millions of Jews. These projectiles manage to murder and wound some, destroy their homes and all their possessions. Scores of Jewish families in Israel are now not only homeless, they have only the clothes on their backs.
