How US Politicians Empower Anti-American Jihadists and Other Aggressors

by Bassam Tawil, GATESTONE  •  August 28, 2023

  • When people such as Vivek Ramaswamy, a candidate for the Republican Party nomination in the 2024 US presidential election, call for decreasing aid to Israel, they are actually sending a message of support to the mullahs in Tehran and their proxies, Hamas and PIJ, as well as the Iran-funded Hezbollah terrorist militia in Lebanon and to nations that would like to see Israel and America “out of the way.”

No such thing as a lone-wolf terrorist

The attackers may decide on their own where to strike and carry it out by themselves, but they drink from the same poisonous well that makes the killing of Jews kosher, be it because “Al Aqsa Mosque is being desecrated” or just in the name of Islam or the Palestinian cause.

By  Nadav Shragai, ISRAEL HAYOM 21.8.23

Once again, we fell into the trap: Even before the bodies of the dead from Saturday’s terrorist attack were laid to rest, it had already been described as a “lone-wolf” incident that was part of the “atmosphere.”

This definition is misleading because there is a hand that rocks the cradle for such perpetrators. Such attacks are not created out of thin air. The atmosphere that creates “atmosphere attacks” – the prevailing sentiment from where would-be attackers get their inspiration for their “lone-wolf attacks” – is part and parcel of the multi-year campaign to glorify terrorists and make Jews legitimate targets regardless of where they are.

Illegal Arab building – Efrat as a microcosm

According to a study published on October 11, 2022, by Regavim, there are 81,317 illegal structures in area C.

Proximity of illegal Arab building to Efrat homes Regavim

The curvy windy road leading to the northern entrance of Efrat passes by an adjacent Arab town. The town extends from a nearby hill downwards and then ascends upwards almost reaching the Dagan and Tamar neighborhoods of Efrat. The town has no name, but it has schools, and nearby homes. Some of the buildings have not been completed as many of their window frames are empty revealing no residency within their walls. They are unoccupied structures.<

Vaccinated people are over 2X more likely to get COVID than the unvaccinated.

We are told to get vaccinated to reduce the risk of being infected. But the numbers aren’t working out for them. How can they explain this survey?

STEVE KIRSCH

Executive summary

According to the survey I just did of over 16,000 people, fully vaccinated people are more than 2X as likely to get COVID than the unvaccinated.

What I found was fascinating is that if you did get COVID, the probability of being hospitalized was identical in the two groups.

My survey results are publicly viewable and all the entries can be verified (I have the contact info for each respondent). Happy to provide to any mainstream media fact checker.

Barack Obama the Vindictive Enforcer

By Jeannie DeAngelis, AMER THINKER

The definition of “vindictive” is to have or show a “strong or unreasoning desire for revenge.”  As an observer of the ongoing humiliation and persecution currently directed toward Donald J. Trump and anyone who supports him, what America may now be witnessing is an unparalleled display of malicious revenge.

One might ask, “Who is driving this retribution?”  The most obvious answer to that question is that it must be a self-absorbed force with a notorious reputation for spiteful exoneration.  Judging from past conduct, that force would be none other than former president Barack Obama.

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

By Michael Ordman, VGNI

Israel’s usual high summer temperatures may explain why so many Israelis are indoors energetically working on innovations to make a better world.  Renewable energy developments include releasing hydrogen from water using regular sunlight; floating solar farms are now a commercial reality; and a solar farm that generates cheaper electricity than can be produced from fossil fuels.

Israeli energy in the medical arena has resulted in the world’s first spine surgery using Augmented Reality; the first implanted tricuspid heart valves; two cancer breakthroughs; life-saving blood clot removal; and the first blood test to diagnose bipolar disorder.  Energetic Israelis are helping save lives after devastating fires in Maui, Hawaii.

Israeli expansion of settlements is our best chance for Palestinian peace

T. Belman. I disagree. We should build as much as we can because it is our right, not to punish terrorism.

by Michael Freund, Jerusalem Post  August 25, 2023

Earlier this week, in less than 48 hours, two Jewish families were shattered forever by Palestinian terrorist gunfire.

On Saturday, Shai Nigreker, 60, and his son Aviad Nir, 28, were shot dead when they stopped at a Palestinian-owned car wash in Huwara, south of Nablus.

Then, on Monday, another one of our ostensible peace partners opened fire on an Israeli vehicle near Hebron, murdering Batsheva Nigri, a 42-year-old mother of three, in front of her 12-year-old daughter who was sitting in the back seat. The driver, Aryeh Gottlieb, a father of six, was seriously wounded.

Israel’s protesters are the real threat to its democracy

Ignore the misleading, boilerplate commentaries. The protests are part of a manipulative, aggressive plot

MELANIE PHILLIPS  Aug 27, 2023

Here in Israel, the current political crisis is causing acute anxiety and dread. But the reason isn’t what so many diaspora Jews think it is.

Most in Britain and America haven’t a clue about the complexities of this crisis, because news outlets rarely give them information that challenges boilerplate prejudices. Instead, diaspora communities have swallowed a cartoonish media distortion.

Ramaswamy learns fast. Says all the right things.

Vivek Ramaswamy, one of the leading candidates for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination, pushed back against accusations he would harm the US-Israel relationship and Israel’s security by cutting military aid to the Jewish State.

Speaking to Israel’s Channel 12 News following last week’s Republican presidential debate, Ramaswamy claimed that other politicians with more experience than himself put words in his mouth. “What I actually said was that if our relationship with Israel ever gets Israel to the point of being so strong that Israel doesn’t even need our aid anymore, that will actually be a mark of success of a true friendship. I want this to be clear – we will never cut off aid to Israel until Israel tells us that they are ready for it.”

Haredi students receiving degrees, entering workforce, in droves- GREAT NEWS

The percentage in haredi society of those who officially work has reached a record high of 55.8%

By Kobi Nachshoni, INN 26.8.213

Archive photo: Special visit to Intel

It’s hard to remain unmoved by the findings of a survey publicized earlier this month showing the rapid growth of haredim (sometimes called ultra-orthodox Jews) in Israel’s workforce. The numbers, crunched by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, show that the percentage in haredi society of those who officially work has reached a record high of 55.8%. This is still a far cry from the 63% target set by the government back in 2020, and much further still from the 87% of the general Jewish populace. But the trend is positive and very encouraging: After nearly a decade with no real change in the percentages, the number of gainfully employed haredim is clearly rising, and appears on track to continue to do so.

The Biden clan’s con is coming to an end

By Victor Davis Hanson, JWR

The Biden clan's con is coming to an end

Despite years of Biden family and media disinformation, we are finally learning that President Joe Biden really did fire Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin for looking into state corruption involving the oil company Burisma and Hunter Biden — and ultimately Joe Biden himself.

As vice president, Biden, in his own words, bragged that he had threatened to cancel the deliverance of American foreign aid to Ukraine unless Shokin was dismissed.

Anti-government demonstrations have taken place in several provinces in Syria, as protesters called for an overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad, in scenes reminiscent of the beginning of the Syrian uprising in 2011.

Hundreds of protesters gathered on Friday in Sweida and Deraa, both in southern Syria, northern Aleppo and Idlib, in the northwest, and Deir Az Zor, Raqqa and Hassakeh, in the northeast.

Deluded Europe can’t see that it’s finished

T. Belman.  Given its anti-Israel policies, it can’t happen soon enough for me. Its decline has been fueled by two additional factors; the immigration  of millions of Muslims into France and Germany and the Ukraine War.

As the continent grapples with an ageing population, new centres of power have emerged

We Europeans are still convinced of the centrality of our small continent not only to the history of mankind but to shaping the world today. We lecture everyone else based on values that we firmly believe are universal. We think of ourselves as noble, powerful and well intentioned.

But the period of true European power was really just a historical blip.

Yes to Life and to Meaning

T. Belman.  I read this book more than 50 years ago and was profoundly influenced by it. The New World Order envisages a world or life without meaning. As such it is doomed to failure.

In Israel, the Right is imbued with meaning and the Left is bereft of it.

By Samuel Kronen, CITY JOURNAL

Viktor Frankl survived the Holocaust and created a new psychology in which the search for meaning—not pleasure or power—is mankind’s central motivational force.

The Austrian psychiatrist, author, and Holocaust survivor Viktor Emil Frankl was a quintessential humanist. His memoir Man’s Search for Meaning, a psychological portrait of life inside the concentration camps, has become a go-to for seekers of every variety since its original German-language publication in 1946. Listed as “one of the ten most influential books in the U.S.” in 1991, it still appears as one of Amazon’s 100 Books to Read in a Lifetime. Having sold more than 10 million copies and having been translated into 24 languages, Man’s Search for Meaning is considered among the most inspiring nonfiction works. This “should be required reading for anyone desiring to live on this planet,” says a YouTube commentator, regarding one of Frankl’s interviews. Frankl’s crowning literary achievement, however—written in nine days and originally published anonymously—is just the capstone on his life and work.
