A few days after publication, the results of a survey were reported showing that 44 percent of Jews polled (presumably liberal) held favorable views of New York socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani – despite his history of inflammatory rhetoric concerning Jews and Israel and the dramatic increase in antisemitic incidents in the city since his inauguration (including a recent stabbing by an assailant shouting “Allahu Akbar”)!

Peloni:  It is a long tradition in the US Congress to hear the sad refrain repeated, “We are going to get to the bottom of this…”, only to see over and over again that little to nothing is achieved before Congress adjourns and each Congressman goes out to fund raise off of their calls for justice while seemingly never actually achieving it.  Is that we are looking at in the Fauci hearings?  If so, what alternatives might we find to offset the conclusion that nothing will ultimately be done after seven years without a single prosecution being pursued related to the Covid scams.

Alan Dershowitz offers an interesting potential of actually changing this long denial of justice, but it comes at the cost of setting free the most recognizable character associated with Covid.  The alternative to this would require seeking something actionable in the hours following Fauci’s immunity deal, or attempting to challenge a presidential pardon… So, considering all of this, what actually should be done?

UPDATE:  IDF will not be withdrawing from the Yellow Line until both Hamas is disarmed and the Gaza Strip is entirely demilitarized.

Peloni:  An important development is emerging in which Hamas is reportedly going to agree to disarm, turning its arms over to the Pal technocratic govt under the Trump 20 point plan as described in UN Security Council Resolution 2803.  As I have noted before, this plan has as its most paramount conclusion the creation of a second Palestinian state, complete with ultimately being ruled by the American equity known as the Palestinian Authority, even as this diabolical entity is still failing to even successfully pretend any reforms are taking place – of course, terrorists will be predictable like that.  In any event, the plan comes on the heals of the US taking over the management of tunnel deconstruction in Gaza due to financial constraints in the Israeli budget as well as a long-term plan to complete this project.  The US will be managing and implementing the project as well as funding it.  While it is intended that this will prevent Hamas from having access to their underground terror hideouts across Gaza it remains notable that even as the existing tunnels will be filled by this US initiative, it fails to address the reality that Gaza is one large beach, making it nearly impossible to prevent further tunnels from being constructed in the easily managed sandy foundation, given the appropriate funding and materials.  So, even if we presume that all of Hamas’ old tunnel systems have been identified and that they will all be filled and sealed, this does not address the relevance of potential new tunnels being built, either under the governance of the technocratic Pal govt or its replacement PA govt in the future.  And so, the Trump plan for a second Pal state continues.

Suggestion:  Since the Trump 20 Point Plan is still being amended, interpreted and rewritten, let us move forward with allowing the Gazans to leave Gaza, TODAY!  There is no good faith based argument in which the people living in Gaza should be linked to the land as if they were modern day serfs whose real purpose is being weaponized against Jews.  Let them go, and help them leave, as was done for millions of others suffering in war zones over not only the past 3 years, but as is per normal throughout history.   There are 22 Arab countries all of which would be better suited to harboring the Gazans if for no other reason than that nearly none of them have any Jews living within easy access.

Peloni:  The absurd nature of being attacked by Iran while still calling America and Israel as its enemy offers a snapshot into the mindset of the Islamist ideology on which the Jordanian leadership stands.  This is why it is so important for the Trump designation of the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates to be fully implemented, in Jordan, across the region, and most obviously within the American homeland as well.  This ideology is not compatible with US interests any more than it is with Israeli interests.  Jordan is a hotbed of Islamist radicals which need to be defunded, even as the king has attempted to protect these allies by pushing them to simply change their name in a familiar strategy to avoid the consequences of the Brotherhood Ban.  Trump’s Muslim Brotherhood Ban has an important role to play in stabilizing the region, but it needs to be air tight in its application for it to have any substantive effect at all.  What Avi Abelow explains below is correct, the letter calling for the removal of US forces from Jordan is a warning, and one which the US and Israel both need to be mindful as to import of the message being broadcasted.
