2022 Inflated Palestinian Demography

Ettinger Report.   May 3, 2022

Official Palestinian demographic numbers are highly-inflated, as documented by a study, which has been conducted since 2004:

*500,000 overseas residents, who have been away for over a year, are included in the Palestinian census, contrary to international regulations. 325,000 were included in the 1997 census, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, and 400,000 in 2005, according to the Palestinian Election Commission. The number grows steadily due to births.

*350,000 East Jerusalem Arabs are doubly-counted – by Israel and by the Palestinian Authority. The number grows daily due to births.

The Thinnest Veneer of Civilization

Civilization is fragile. It hinges on ensuring the stuff of life…

By Victor David Hanson, EPOCH TIMES

To be able to eat, to move about, to have shelter, to be free from state or tribal coercion, to be secure abroad, and safe at home—only that allows cultures to be freed from the daily drudgery of mere survival.

Civilization alone permits humans to pursue sophisticated scientific research, the arts, and the finer aspects of culture.

So, the great achievement of Western civilizationconsensual government, individual freedom, rationalism in partnership with religious belief, free market economics, and constant self-critique and audit—was to liberate people from daily worry over state violence, random crime, famine, and an often-unforgiving nature.

Beserkeley Goes Full Nazi, Bans Pro-Israel Speakers

Once again, the University of California, Berkeley reflects the latest trends in academia.

Our nation’s colleges and universities have for years now been radioactive wastelands of far-Left indoctrination, where idea that oppose the establishment narrative are not evaluated or discussed at all except in order to make it clear to the hapless targets of this indoctrination that those who entertain them will be vilified, demonized, ostracized, and possibly expelled from school and rendered too notoriously toxic to get a job in their chosen field. Now the University of California, Berkeley, always an academic trendsetter, has made the Left’s increasingly open antisemitism official policy, as nine student groups have adopted a policy that prohibits people who support Israel from speaking at events. Berkeley, the home in the 1960s of the legendary “Free Speech” movement, has now come full circle and made the Left’s opposition to the freedom of expression and open discourse, as well as its Jew-hatred, open and undeniable.

‘Maritime deal gives 100% to Lebanon, 0% to Israel’

Ex-ambassador to Israel slams emerging maritime border deal between Beirut and Jerusalem, says Trump was on brink of brokering better deal.

Ambassador David FriedmanIsrael National News

Former US ambassador to Israel David Friedman lambasted the emerging maritime border deal between Israel and Lebanon, claiming it marks a complete capitulation of Israel’s interests in favor of Lebanon’s.

In a series of tweets Monday morning, the former Trump administration official said that prior to Biden’s election, the White House nearly brokered a more equitable deal.

My First Yom Kippur in Exile

By

Rabbi Goldschmidt was, until recently, the chief rabbi of Moscow.

JERUSALEM — This is my first Yom Kippur in exile.

The crisp Moscow autumn air; the illuminated synagogue which I called home for 30 years; my white hat and kittel, the robe Jews wear on the High Holy Days, folded up, in my apartment that now sits locked — it all seems like a dream.

As the chief rabbi of Moscow, I used to prepare for this holiday for weeks. Some of the work was technical — securing cantors and shofar blowers for synagogues across Russia, or guiding the sick on whether or not they should fast on the holy day. Some of the preparation was more lofty: I would prepare my sermon thoughts while walking daily for early morning penitential prayers, past the bustling cafes on Pokrovka Street, down the hill on Arkhipova Street, up the stairs to the pale yellow synagogue, with its dome. In the days leading up to the holidays, one could hear the cantorial choir rehearsing in the wooden balcony of the century-old sanctuary.

What if “Palestine” applies for NATO membership?

T. Belman. Israel should hold a referendum in Area C and declare independence. Then Israel can extend Israeli law to it and it becomes Israeli sovereign territory.

By Ezequiel Doiny, ISRAEL UNWIRED

On October 1, 2022 Israel Unwired reported “On Friday morning, Vladimir Putin announced the annexation of four Ukrainian territories. Russia now deems any attack on these territories as an attack on Russia itself. In response Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine applied for expedited NATO membership.”

On October 1, 2022 the Gateway Pundit reported about Putin’s annexation of the Donbass territories “In his speech yesterday announcing the annexation of the Russian-speaking Donbass territories, Russian President Vladimir Putin…called for a ceasefire in Ukraine and a return to the negotiating table… “Today we are signing agreements on the admission of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic, the Zaporizhia Region and the Kherson Region to Russia,” Putin stated, after referenda were held in the Russian-occupied territories in favor of joining Russia. Putin called the accession the “inalienable right” of the ethnic Russian population, “enshrined in the first article of the UN Charter, which directly speaks of the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples.”

The Peace Process is a Bigger Danger Than Hamas

T. Belman. Now we are bypassing the peace process and just giving it away.

The biggest threat Israel faces today is the “peace process”, with its insistence on the Saudi Peace Plan. It is aided and abetted by Israel’s “We Are Tired” camp and its “Let’s Make a Deal” camp.

By Ted Belman (first published in 2006)

The biggest threat Israel faces today is the “peace process”, with its insistence on the Saudi Peace Plan. It is aided and abetted by Israel’s “We Are Tired” camp and its “Let’s Make a Deal” camp.

With this in mind, I took the position during the Palestinian elections that a Hamas victory would be good for Israel because it would stop the “peace process”. And so it has. The threat of rockets raining down on Israel from Gaza isn’t nearly the threat that the peace process was and is. This is so even if the rockets start to rain down on Tel Aviv from the West Bank. Israel always has it in its power to stop the attacks at a time of its choosing. The more they rain down, the less support the Palestinians have in Europe.

How the US can roll back Iran — without going to war

By Michael Makovsky, PhD, JINSA President and CEO and Blaise Misztal, JINSA Vice President for Policy

The Iranian people’s fearless protests against the brutal Tehran regime, coinciding with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s failing health, further weaken the Islamic Republic’s grip on power. Though unlikely, it might even deliver a knockout blow. Either way, they should jolt the Biden administration out of its bewildering, blasé, business-as-usual stupor into pursuing an Iran strategy of regime collapse.

‘Checkmate is inevitable; any defeat in the war will lead to changes in Russia’

T. Belman. Most people think the tide is turning against Russia. Perhaps for now but the new Russian conscripts will be trained and deployed within a month. Plus, Russia will then be tasked with defending the motherland rather than securing the Donbass.

Garry Kasparov, a living chess legend, and one of the leaders of the exiled Russian opposition, is convinced that Vladimir Putin’s fall is only a matter of time. He says that “the Russian mobilization is bringing the end closer.”

Like billions around the world. Garry Kasparov watched this week as Russia entered a tailspin. The announcement that it would call up 300,000 people for military service, the flight of thousands of men from Russia to neighboring countries, and the stormy protests against recruitment in the northern Caucasus. Kasparov however, wasn’t overly excited – not because the events weren’t dramatic, but because from his perspective, they simply prove his thesis.

“Israel Has Surrendered to Hezbollah!”

Netanyahu slams US-brokered Lebanon deal, says Israel will not be bound by it when he returns to power.

Israel on Sunday gave its nod of approval to a US-brokered deal to resolve the maritime dispute between the Jewish state and Lebanon.

Two large natural gas fields are located near the maritime border between the two countries. The problem is that Israel and Lebanon are still officially at war, and have no agreed upon border, be it on land or at sea.

For Netanyahu, the path to victory is more about mobilization than persuasion OR CAPTURING SHAKED’S TWO SEATS.

T. Belman. Apparently Likud has offered Shaked an ambassadorship to a major European country in exchange for withdrawing from the election. She turned it down.  What they should offer her is the role of Min of Justice.

2021’s vote saw a major drop-off in turnout from right-leaning and religious areas compared to 2020; in this campaign’s final month, Likud will focus on reversing that trend

  • The state of the Israeli election campaign: Poll of polls, October 2, 2022, showing the number of seats parties would be expected to win if the election was held today, based on a weighing of the latest opinion polls.

The End of Debate

By Daniel Greenfield, 30 Sep 03:21 PM

In New York City, world leaders dodged traffic, deranged panhandlers and the city’s unique fall funk, to lecture the planet about their views at the United Nations General Assembly.

Their theme was the threat that “misinformation” or “disinformation” poses to their power.

“Hate speech, misinformation and abuse — targeted especially at women and vulnerable groups — are proliferating,” UN Secretary-General Guterres claimed.

Smotrich: Bennett and Shaked went on an irresponsible adventure

Religious Zionism chairman: History will not forgive those who irresponsibly endanger the State of Israel.

MK Bezalel Smotrich, the chairman of the Religious Zionism Party, told Channel 13 News in an interview on Saturday night that the most pressing problem in Israel today is the nationalistic threat from home.

“The main event now is dealing with the enemy from home and abroad, people who do not believe in the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state and are trying to fight against it. This harms the personal security of Israeli citizens who cannot walk around today on the beach in Bat Yam, and this is also true in Hadera, Olga, Haifa, Acre, Ramla and Tiberias and Be’er Sheva. We saw a promo during Operation Guardian of the Walls for what might happen if only one percent of the tens and hundreds of thousands of illegal weapons in the Arab sector are directed at Jews,” said Smotrich.

Have American Jewish Leaders Abandoned Judaism for the Religion of the Woke

Has woke ideology captured “Jewish” organizations to such an extent that they are willing to abandon traditional Judaism?

Heading into the Jewish New Year, the Yeshiva University of New York is likely less able to focus on the inner work of repentance and community-healing that typifies the period before the Days of Awe.

Instead, the largest Torah Judaism institution in the United States is on its knees, fighting for basic First Amendment rights before a hostile public and legal system. This sounds like Communist Russia, but, no, this fight is in 21 st century America.

God, Family, Country

By Ray DiLorenzo, STAND UP AMERICA

The world is upside down.  Everything the United States and Western Civilization has stood for these past thousands of years, God, Family, Country is being tossed into a bin like so much garbage. And we are now reaping a harvest of calamity.

Contrary to what the globalists may complain about, Western Civilization has given the world the Renaissance, the Reformation, the Industrial Revolution, the Scientific Revolution, the hunger for knowledge, Representative Democracy and Capitalism.  It is our capitalist system and our God-given rights that have given much of the world a standard of living unparalleled anywhere. Where it is not practiced, people live without in tyranny.  It is Western culture that is responsible for individualism, free speech, and the Great Commission to spread the knowledge of God to the world.
