The Crux of World History

T. Belman. Please answer the question. Why are we hated so for thousands of years, without abatement? What is it about Judaism or Jews that gives rise to such hatred?  Or should I ask, what is it about human psychology that produces such hatred?

Francisco Gil-White asked and answered the question, Why is there antisemitism?

The Crux of World History answers this question. I show that there has been and still is so much antisemitism in the West because Judaism is the original mass movement of the political left. It is the original movement of progressive politics, preaching freedom, justice, equality, ethics, and compassion. This is precisely why the Western ruling classes have always persecuted the Jews and taught ordinary gentiles to hate them, lest ordinary people learn from the Jews that they have a right to live in freedom and equality. Once this is understood, the history of the West, with its endless sequence of anti-Jewish massacres, will, for the first time, make sense. Only if good people quickly come to understand this can the next genocide — already upon us — be prevented.

He wrote this before “progressive” took on new meaning.

King Solomon said, (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

The sun rises, and the sun goes down…all streams run to the sea… what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

In his prescience, King Solomon no doubt knew that one of the things that would remain the same was the obdurate persistence––over thousands of years––of maniacal Jew hatred and a fanatical loathing of Israel.

Palestinians, Yet Again, Attack Jewish Pilgrims On Temple Mount

Only a week after Jerusalem Day. It’s relentless.

Another Jewish holiday, another Arab attack on Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount. This time, it was the religious holiday of Shavuot, on June 5, exactly a week after Jerusalem Day, May 29, when Arabs last threw rocks and Molotov cocktails from inside Al-Aqsa at Jewish pilgrims. A report on the latest outbreak of Arab violence on Temple Mount is here: “Police clash with Palestinians on Temple Mount as Jews visit during Shavuot holiday,” Times of Israel, June 5, 2022

Understanding The Six-Day War

The classic example of legal use of force under international law.

By Ari Lieberman, FPM

<
>

June 5th marked the 55th anniversary of the Six-Day War of 1967. Palestinians refer to the war as the “Naqsah,” or setback. But no matter what you call it, the Six-Day War has no parallel in modern military history. It ended with Israel vanquishing the collective military might of the Arab world. The armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq collapsed in the face of a well-trained, highly motivated Israeli Army.

On paper, Israel should have lost. In every category – tanks, artillery, airpower, naval forces and manpower, Israel was badly outnumbered. But as the current Ukraine-Russia conflict reminds us, in war there are intangibles that cannot be quantified or otherwise reduced to a number.

New Missouri law bans pharmacists from questioning doctors who prescribe ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine

Missouri Governor Mike Parson holds to the view that it is up to a doctor and his or her patient to make decisions that affect patient health, particularly given COVID-19, for which an experimental vaccine is being forced on the public via mandates in many jurisdictions. Vaccine mandates have become a partisan issue, with the GOP mostly opposing mandates. According to the Kansas City Star, Parson, who is Republican, has just “signed into law a bill that bars pharmacists from questioning doctors” who prescribe ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

Panels Politics Poll: Netanyahu Could Lead a 69-Member Right-Wing-Only Coalition But He Won’t

T. Belman. David Israel raises an interesting point.  Would Bibi prefer to embrace left wing Gantz or right wing Sa’ar and/or Bennett?

By David Israel , JEWISH PRESS

Will new elections change the political map and lead to a clear decision between the two main blocs? Four consecutive elections have failed to produce a decisive result for either bloc, and so, after the third try, Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz attempted to co-exist for about a year, and after the fourth, the strangest bunch of bedfellows took over and they, too, don’t appear to go anywhere. So, why should we expect a fifth election to produce different results (and, by the way, it wasn’t Einstein who said that bit about madness and expecting the same action to produce different results – the first time it appeared in print was in a 1981 article about 12-step programs).

Iran, Turkey brace for face-off in Syria

Iran has been trying to dissuade Turkey from a fresh intervention in Syria while making military preparations on the ground to protect its interests amid a growing rift between the two neighbors.

Driven apart by clashing regional interests, Turkey and Iran appear headed for a face-off in Syria, with Tehran explicitly opposing Ankara’s plan for a fresh military operation against Kurdish-held areas, wary of risks to its own posture in the region.

The travesty of Pillay’s kangaroo court

The UN is the most conspicuous example of a fundamental mistake by the west

By Melanie Phillips

UN Human Rights Council special session on “the deteriorating human-rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem,” May 2018

A few days ago, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, was elected as a vice president of the UN General Assembly. He will thus chair its meetings and help set its agenda when it assembles for its next annual session in September.

This was a rare diplomatic victory for Israel at the United Nations, and the latest example of the vigorous pushback being mounted by Israeli diplomats against the institution’s bigoted hostility. “Nothing will stop me — and I mean nothing — from fighting the discrimination against Israel,” said Erdan.

Justice Department Colludes with Congress to Bolster the ‘Insurrection’ Narrative

T. Belman. This is an extreme case of projection. Just as the evidence mounts of  an extremely broad …extremely well-organized conspiracy to steal the 2020 election, Liz Cheney describes Jan 6 as an  “extremely broad . . . extremely well-organized” conspiracy to overthrow the government that day. What the committee uncovered related to the alleged conspiracy, Cheney warned, is “really chilling.’

Facts don’t matter in Collaboration Theater.

By

This week produced yet another example of the shameless collaboration between the U.S. Department of Justice, the Democratic Party, and the national news media to destroy Donald Trump and everyone around him. The ink was barely dry on the not guilty verdict for Michael Sussmann, just one of many figures who acted as a pass-through between Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the FBI to manufacture the Russia collusion hoax, before the same players were up to their old tricks.

Disastrous Voter Rolls Lead to Chaos in Elections

What needs to be done to ensure free and fair elections – and to strengthen voter confidence.

By J. Christian Adams, FPM     June 10/22

The most important election integrity document is the voter roll. It tells election officials who is eligible to vote. It controls to who and where automatic vote by mail ballots are sent. Inaccurate voter rolls leads to chaos in elections.

Clean and accurate voter rolls are essential to free and fair elections.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, of which I am President, has sued Secretaries of State across the country to remove deceased and duplicate registrants from the voter rolls. In Pennsylvania, we won litigation that resulted in removing over 20,000 deceased registrants from the voter rolls. We have similar ongoing litigation in Michigan to remove over 25,000 deceased registrants from the voter rolls. Read more…

Roy Rogers, Roi Rotberg and Me

One played the part of a brave cowboy and one really was a brave cowboy. Which one does today’s Israel Resemble?  Op-ed.

Today: Arab arson at Kibbutz Nahal OzLugasi JNF

I grew up in a “traditional” North American Jewish home – kosher at home, most holidays observed, driving to the synagogue, and with the television on during Shabbat. I remember that around my tenth birthday, we boys were expected to go to Shabbat services, but before that age we stayed home and even watched television. Saturday mornings saw the broadcast of some of the best children’s programs, and the most popular of all was the singing cowboy, Roy Rogers and his wife Dale Evans.

From Israel: Hold On to Your Seats, Folks!!

By Arlene Kushner   June 9, 2022

On Thursday, Times of Israel editor David Horowitz wrote: “Netanyahu and the right are about to regain power; they will hold it for a long time.” (Emphasis added here and below)

For which I say Thank Heaven.

Continued Horowitz, “The final blow to the coalition could come from many directions, but come it will. And Israel will get a government of the ideological hue most of the electorate voted for a year ago.

Why Biden Needs to Fight, Not Appease, the Enemies of Peace

By Bassam Tawil, GATESTONE  •  June 9, 2022

  • While Hamas and the Houthis target Israel, the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership, in addition to that, continues to act against the interests of its own people. PA President Mahmoud Abbas appears to be encouraged by the unconditional support he is receiving from the Biden administration, to the point where he feels free to continue denying his people good governance and judicial due process.
  • All signs now indicate that most people in the region are fed up with the anti-peace camp in the Arab and Muslim world, especially with Iran’s proxies Hamas, the Houthis and Hizbollah, all of which have offered the region, including the Palestinians, nothing but violence and bloodshed.

House committee hearings on Capitol riot expected to be unsettling for Jews

T. Belman. Everything in this article reeks of pro-Democratic propaganda, starting with the sub-title. It totally supports the Democratic narrative which is itself as big a lie as the Russian Hoax has proven to be. It ignores the truth and the reality. As such it should be abhorrent to most lovers of truth and justice. And to think it was written by the lead journalist Ron Kampeas, who is the Chief of the Jewish Telegraph Agency.

For the opposite read Peg Tierney’s Report on the subject today.

Sessions aim to reveal chronicle of events leading up to storming of building by Trump supporters, many of whom had ties to bigoted, antisemitic, far-right groups

WASHINGTON (JTA) — The US House of Representatives Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the US Capitol is about to tell a story, and it comes with a warning: Some parts might be unsettling to Jews.

The committee, chaired by Rep. Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat, is launching primetime hearings at 8 p.m. eastern Thursday night. They will be broadcast on ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN. There will be more hearings held intermittently through September.

The subordinate citizen

By Victor Davis Hanson, JWR

I recently led a group of about 100 citizens to tour Israel for nearly two weeks. Before returning to the United States, all participants had to indicate their vaccination status and take a COVID-19 test for reentry.

Anxieties swept the group as Israeli testers swabbed them.

Anyone testing positive would have to delay his or her return. That quarantine would entail spending thousands of dollars in finding scarce hotel accommodations, additional living expenses, and rebooked airline tickets – depending upon the length of the mandatory sequestration.

Globalists Try to Sell ‘European Unity’

But dubious happy-talk can’t hide the real lesson of the Ukraine war.

By Bruce Thornton, FPM  June 9/22

The sponsors of “moralizing internationalism,” as historian Corelli Barnett called it, are busy trying to spin the Russo-Ukrainian war as a crisis that has renewed European unity. For globalists, Russia’s return of Europe to its benighted past of invasions, destruction, and slaughters––horrors that the “rules-based international order” supposedly ended––has instead strengthened and highlighted two show-case institutions of that order, the European Union and NATO. Globalists claim that rather than an indictment of globalism’s failures, the war is restoring both institutions and confirming the superiority of supranational institutions in keeping order and creating prosperity.
