as Vaccine Effectiveness against Death falls to MINUS-166%

Official data published by the UK Health Security Agency confirms Covid-19 vaccine effectiveness against death has fallen to minus-121% among 40-49-year-olds, and minus-166% among those aged 80 and over. All other age groups have also suffered a significant drop in vaccine effectiveness with figures showing all double vaccinated adults are more likely to die of Covid-19 than unvaccinated adults.

‘The price will be huge’: Nachman Shai says more Jews are visiting the flashpoint holy site, with some praying there, leading to an escalation

Diaspora Minister Nachman Shai said Saturday that the delicate status quo on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount was deteriorating as more Jews accessed the holy site, and warned that there will be harsh consequences.

“There are a lot more Jews who are going up to the Temple Mount. There are some that stop on the way and pray, which was forbidden,” Shai told the Kan public broadcaster.

Raphael Cohen-Almagor, a self-described “poet, human rights and peace activist,” as well as a professor at the University of Hull, offers sundry reasons for this surprise conclusion, including:

The ban on the burqa and the niqab is wrong in principle, is counter-productive and illiberal. It fails to respect freedom of religion which is a basic human right. Paraguay is seeing a surge in German migrants, fleeing Islamic migrants in their own country and onerous coronavirus restrictions.

The German, named as Michael Schwartz and said to have arrived in Paraguay in November 2021, told the BBC that he had avoided taking coronavirus vaccinations — which the German health minister wants to make compulsory, although there is resistance to the policy in the federal legislature — because there are “many questions” around them, suggesting that “many Paraguayans” share his stance.

The Ukrainian resistance owes more to Judaism than might be thought

There are also significant links between Judaism and the resistance by the Ukrainians.

It is highly probable that another Knesset member will resign from the coalition, Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu has told several of his close confidantes in recent days, Israel Hayom has learned.

The Opposition is aiming for the potential defection to be announced as soon as this week, even before a Knesset committee convenes on Monday, at Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s request, to discuss the matter of Yamina rebel MK Amichai Chikly’s ouster from the party. According to reports, the Ra’am party, a coalition member, is expected to boycott the meeting.
