‘Early Treatment Works, Period’

By Meiling Leech,  EPOCH TIMES

A doctor who has been offering free telehealth services to COVID-19 patients during the pandemic says that early treatment for COVID-19 works, claiming that he has a 99.99 percent survival rate.

“We have a team of volunteer free doctors that donate their time to help treat these patients that come to us,” Dr. Ben Marble, the founder of myfreedoctor.com, an online medical consultation service, said at a roundtable discussion hosted by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on Jan. 24.

He added, “We deliver the early treatment protocols to them as early as we can, and we have a 99.99 percent survival rate. So, I believe myfreedoctor.com, the free volunteered doctors have settled the science on this—early treatment works, period!”

Biden Withholds $130 Million in Military Aid to Egypt, after Approving $2.5 Billion Weapons Sale,

DAWN

(Washington D.C, January 28, 2021) – The Biden administration announced that it would withhold $130 million in military aid conditioned on Egypt improving its human rights record only three days after it approved a $2.5 billion weapons sale without any such conditions.

“Denying the Sisi government a paltry $130 million is a bit of a crude shell game after the Biden administration’s approval of $2.5 billion in weapons sales earlier this week,” said John Hursh, Program Director of Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN). “That the Egyptian government could not meet even the watered-down human rights conditions to release 16 political prisoners is just one reason for why the U.S. government has no business sending one cent of weapons to its brutal dictatorship.”

A statewide court on Friday declared that Pennsylvania’s expansive two-year-old mail-in voting law is unconstitutional, agreeing with challenges by Republicans.

The decision, by a five-judge Commonwealth Court panel of three Republicans and two Democrats, would be put on hold immediately if Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration files an appeal to the state Supreme Court as promised.

Ukraine and the American crack-up

From Washington to Berlin to Warsaw to Kyiv, everyone says that only Russian President Vladimir Putin knows what he plans to do with the 120,000 troops he has deployed to the Ukrainian border. But at this point, even if Putin decides not to invade, even if he withdraws all of his forces from the border zone he has already won a strategic victory of historic proportions against the United States.

You’ll stand up and cheer after seeing these Canadian trucker convoy videos

By Andrea Widburg, AM THINKER

Image: The Freedom Convoy. YouTube screen grab.

Across the world, people are pushing back against COVID mandates. Monica Showalter wrote that “Europe’s COVID mandate protests are getting big and violent.” Europeans are doing that because they understand that, through the digital “vaccine passports” being enforced there, they are about to become slaves to a social credit system similar to the one used in China. But this post is about Canada, where protest has taken a non-violent but incredibly inspiring form, thanks to truckers who are pushing back against vaccine mandates and tracking.

Settler Violence, Netanyahu’s Trial and COVID: Haaretz Interview With Prime Minister Bennett

Bennett recalls Netanyahu threatening him in coalition talks. In Syria, Israel has ‘significantly increased activity,’ and on Iran, ‘I’m not looking for a quarrel with the Americans for the sake of a quarrel’

By Yossi Verter, HAARETZ

A day after the interview with Naftali Bennett, the mountaintops were covered in white but the depths of the pandemic filled yet again with bad blood and wrestling in the mud. Teachers’ Union head Yaffa Ben David against the cabinet, top public health official Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis against cancellation of the quarantines, Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton against everyone. Israeli parents went to bed yet again in despair, confused and uncertain about what the morning would bring.

Appeasement mentality brings not peace but war

Tyrants and extremists regard compromise as an incentive to redouble aggression

By Melanie Phillips

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Reykjavik 2021

As the Ukraine crisis continues, one question in particular poses itself. How can it be that, having defeated the Soviet Union in the Cold War, the west is now unable to get the better of the leader of the bankrupt kleptocracy that replaced communism in Russia?

At a synagogue meeting in Atlanta earlier this week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken displayed the all-too hapless posture of the west. Asked what Russian President Vladimir Putin’s next move might be having deployed 100,000 Russian troops on the border with Ukraine, Blinken replied: “He is the only one that can give you an answer”.

Synergy between Iran’s global and domestic violence

(More on Iran)
By Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger, “Second Thought: a US-Israel Initiative”

Iran’s domestic violence feeds the global Islamic Revolution<
>
According to London-based Iran human rights review: “The combination of Iran’s human rights practices, its weapons programs, its democratic deficit and its support for listed terrorist entities make it a special and dangerous case. Human rights abuses in Iran threaten the peace and security of people elsewhere. It must be tackled, not just for the sake of justice, but also for the peace, order, and good government of Western democracies….”

The ADL Has Chosen a Side. And It’s Not the Jewish One

The organization’s championing of progressives has increasingly clashed with its stated mission of calling out antisemitism.<
>
Not long after a slew of attacks on religious New York City Jews, the Anti-Defamation League’s new director of Jewish outreach, Tema Smith, declared, “One of these days we need to talk about how the Jewish community’s reactions to antisemitism coming from Black people is inherently tied to (implicitly racist) fears of Black violence.”

The “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” is Back

By Victor Rosenthal

Do human stupidity and wickedness have any bounds?

After reading the comprehensive Wikipedia article about The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, I have to answer a resounding “no.”

The Protocols, from its its first publication in Russia in 1903 by Pavel Krushevan, an antisemitic activist, publisher, and politician whose newspaper articles instigated the notorious Kishinev Pogrom, to its employment by Henry Ford, the Nazis, and Hamas, has been one of the most effective tools for spreading Jew-hatred throughout the world.

Kuwaiti Writer: It Is High Time To Put Aside Hatred Against Jews, Which Has Gotten Us Nowhere

MEMRI
In a January 17, 2022 article on the English-language website Fanack.com, Kuwaiti writer and poet Nejoud Al-Yagout notes that, when, in December 2021, the U.S. embassy in Kuwait wished the local Jews a happy Hanukkah, many Kuwaitis responded with fury. They used the incident not just to troll the ambassador, but to express hatred for any and all Jews. Al-Yagout wonders where “this cringe-worthy fear” towards Jews comes from, and why Kuwaitis are not ashamed of it, given that their country prides itself on tolerance and coexistance. She notes that this antagonism has caused most of Kuwait’s Jews to emigrate, and the few who remain to hide their identity, which, she says, is a great loss for the country.

‘If Netanyahu leaves, the current government will disappear’

‘We saw cracks in the gov’t when there was talk of Netanyahu leaving politics,’ former Justice Min. Haim Ramon says.

By  Orly Harari , INN  26

Former Justice Minister Haim Ramon is convinced that if former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resigns from politics, the current government will be no more.

Speaking to Galei Israel Radio, Ramon said, “I understand things simply as they are. The current negotiations for a plea bargain have failed. Each one has gone back to his original position. I assume [Attorney General Avichai] Mandelblit will say that he never compromised on bribery and Case 2000, and Netanyahu will say that he never agreed to admit to moral turpitude.”

1 big thing: Scoop… Israel’s “top priority” mission to discredit UN probe

Israel is planning a campaign to discredit a UN commission formed to investigate the violence in Gaza last May and the root causes of the protracted conflict in the occupied West Bank and Gaza, according to an Israeli Foreign Ministry cable seen by Axios.

Why it matters: Israeli officials say they are highly concerned that the commission’s report will refer to Israel as an “Apartheid state” and that its findings could damage Israel’s reputation, particularly among progressives in the West. The report is expected in June. Read more…
