In February, when the Ukraine/Russia conflict had just begun, I wrote an article that saw me accused of flacking for Putin — as in being his propagandist.  I thought it odd because the point of the article was to look at our press, whose members were so used to having Democrats dictate their marching orders that they seemed tentative and afraid without approved talking points to blather at us.  

My accuser had already intuited what the approved stance would eventually be, and so, indeed, it came to pass.  Russia and Putin are bad and evil.  Ukraine, good and blameless.  Zelensky, with a halo around his head, can do or say no wrong, despite his resounding unpopularity prior to the war.

Aradical Arkansas judge in the mold of Jeremiah Wright struck down four new common-sense election integrity laws approved by the Republican-controlled state legislature, declaring the statutes unconstitutional last month. The state is appealing the ruling.

Pulaski County Circuit Judge Wendell Griffen is, like Wright, also a critical race theory-friendly, black nationalist, African dashiki-wearing preacher. Jews in synagogues throughout the world were mourning and offering heartfelt prayers for the well-being of Israel and her people. Why, then, was a supposed Chicago congregation siding with, and giving aid and comfort to, the murderers of innocent fellow Jews and others?

Matthew Martin was arrested in Santa Fe, New Mexico on April 22, 2021; he later was charged with the four most common misdemeanors related to the Justice Department’s prosecution of Capitol protesters: entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct, violent entry, and parading in the Capitol building.

But how corrupt are we?  I don’t know much about corruption in Ukraine, but corruption in the United States is a glaring problem that just about every citizen who is paying attention would acknowledge.  Are we any better than Ukraine?  Maybe worse?

Pope Francis, despite being the head of worldwide Catholicism, always seems to be apologizing for the faith. In Malta, that apology extended to hiding the cross from illegal Muslim immigrants. This act of Christian cowardice was more poignant than usual, given that Malta, in the mid-16th century, was the site of one of the Catholic world’s bravest and most successful stands against Islam’s push to take over Europe.

As antisemitism continues to roar out of control, the west barely registers it

On New York’s Upper West Side last week, six Jewish boys aged 12 to 16 were the target of antisemitic intimidation by three other teenagers who were armed with a knife, sword and crowbar.

The three said they wanted to “get” the Jewish boys because they were Jews, and followed the group home before running away.
