Nurit Greenger.  Jonathan Pollard was a victim of hate for Israel and overreaching Department Of State and other government branches. Indeed he was guilty of providing security information to a friendly power, Israel, but the punishment he was handed out by the court was far, far greater and excessive than the crime he committed deserved.

All that begs the question about why that was so; why Pollard spent 35 years as a state prisoner, regardless of the ongoing protest to have him released. Could it be the embedded antisemitism that was and still is a part of the Deep State? I am convinced that is exactly what was driving the court in this case.

President Trump is coming back early to the White House today. He is skipping the New Year’s Eve party tonight at Mar-a-Lago. Some think it’s due to Iran firing on Yemen or because Cuba is about to be named a terrorist nation. We shall see. 

While Congress flails about, I think they should push the NDAA veto override & $2,000 check debate into the next Congress, which starts Sunday, start over and put Section 230 in it and take out the rest of the crap (statues, troops, 5G.) Then delay the Georgia run-off due to fraud & seat Perdue & Loeffler. Then redline the pay-for-play pork in the old COVID bill and tie its sponsor to each line item – out their names for all the world to see. That’s what I would do.

– The bad guys wanted to destroy the AT&T building because it contained machines that contained a great deal of information that was damning to the bad guys.
– So they packed the RV with explosives enough to destroy the reinforced AT&T building and all machines in it.
– The good Guys, Trump, knew this was happening and acted.
– They emptied the RV of most of its explosives, broadcasted a warning for all to evacuate, and when they were sure the whole area was evacuated, blew up the RV from Space or at least from a very high altitude perhaps using laser beams.

– The buy guys then started spreading lies about a suicide bomber having done it.

The United States flew strategic bombers over the Persian Gulf on Wednesday for the second time this month, a show of force meant to deter Iran from attacking American or allied targets in the Middle East.

One senior US military officer said the flight by two Air Force B-52 bombers was in response to signals that Iran may be planning attacks against US allied targets in neighboring Iraq or elsewhere in the region in the coming days, even as President-elect Joe Biden prepares to take office.

T. Belman.  “enough Senators” means a majority of the Senate.  I don’t see where this is possible given how much McConnell and others have thrown Trump under the bus. Can it be that Trump is gambling on this.  I doubt it.

A more likely path is to get the State Legislatures to decertify the Biden Electors before proceedings on the Jan 6th session can be concluded.  I put it that way because there must be a maximun of debate of 2 hours for each objection..  The process would be carried over to at least Jan 7th.

Only 36 votes must be decertified for Trump to win. Thus PA and GA alone would be enough.

Finally, I think it is possible for Pence to refuse to count electors from contested states in which case Trump also wins.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R. MO) officially stated that he will object to the Electoral College vote count to be held in the Senate on January 6. May this courageous man be the first of many Senators to take a stand against the overwhelming evidence of election fraud. If neither candidate wins enough Electoral College votes on January 6, Trump should win – and it’s all in the Constitution without the need for any strained statutory interpretations.

Let me start with an overview of what happens on January 6. It’s crucial to appreciate how this can end if Hawley is joined by several Senators who refuse to certify Electoral College votes achieved through manifest fraud. T. Belman. Contrition is due, not from Israel, but from the US. The US betrayed Pollard and screwed him for 35 years. First of all he was wrongfully accused of spying for an enemy (USSR) where in reality he spied for a friend (Israel). Even so others who spyied for USSR served only 6 years, I think. Secondly he pleaded guilty according to a plea bargain. But the Judge ignored the bargain and threw the book at him and threw away the keys. Finally, even when he was finally let out of jail, the Government still prevented him from coming to Israel. I am writing from memory. If anyopne can correct me or add to it, please do so.

The Pollard saga is a very black mark against the US.

“Welcome home to Jonathan and Esther Pollard!” Israeli President Reuven Rivlin tweeted this morning, shortly after the Pollards arrived at Ben Gurion airport, to be greeted in person by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

In a telephone conversation held with Pollard a month ago, just after his parole conditions were terminated, Netanyahu told him that he had appointed cabinet secretary Tzachi Braverman to personally take care of all his and his wife’s needs and ease the couple’s absorption process. He also promised “the best medical care in the world” for Esther Pollard, who is being treated for cancer.

Before Vice President Mike Pence was sued by Representative Louie Gohmert their lawyers met and the two sides disagreed about how the Electoral College is formally accepted.

After the meeting, Rep. Gohmert sued VP Pence and argued that Mike Pence should pick competing slates from the swing states Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigann, Wisconsin due to the mass amount of fraud in the 2020 stolen election.

Governors and state administrators have trampled upon the exclusive constitutional power of state legislatures to decide the manner of selecting presidential electors

Late last month, I wrote on these pages that “the Founding Fathers made a wise and prescient choice in setting up the Electoral College and vesting the state legislatures with exclusive authority to decide upon a state’s presidential electors. The multifaceted fraud issues that infect national elections (especially this one) aren’t easily and timely raised within the tight contours of a judicial ‘case or controversy.’”

Later, I wrote that lawmakers in the six swing states still in dispute—Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada—should adopt “reclamation resolutions” reclaiming their exclusive constitutional power under the Electors’ Clause (Article II, Section 1) to decide the “manner” by which their states choose presidential electors.

Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas on Monday sued Vice President Mike Pence in federal court in an effort to force him to block votes from swing states when he presides over the Jan. 6 congressional certification of the 2020 Electoral College winner.

Right now, Democrat Joe Biden is slated to be certified as the election winner in that meeting, setting him up for inauguration on Jan. 20.
