President Trump’s declaration, at a 2 a.m. press conference, that he has won the election and would move in court to prevent a “fraud” in late-counted mail-in ballots certainly sets up a historic drama. His statement followed Vice President Biden’s earlier appearance, at which the Democrat declared he believes he is on track to win the election, adding: “It ain’t over until every vote is counted.”
This strikes us as a moment to stay calm and take a careful look at the numbers and to stick to the law. As we write, the big news agencies are reckoning that Mr. Biden has between 220 and 227 electoral votes. Mr. Trump is at 213.
The race now hangs largely on five states — Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. As Messrs. Biden and Trump spoke, the President leading in all of them save Wisconsin, which is exceptionally close.
T. Belman. What this shows is that as of 1:00 am EST, Trump was ahead 646,000 votes however there were more than 2 million mail-in ballots left to be counted, which are expected to tilt to the Democrats.
In Penn with its 20 electoral votes and 78% of vote counted, Trump is winning 54.87% to 43.96% (Trump + 10.9)
In N. Carolina with its 15 electoral votes and 99% of votes counted, Trump is winning 50.1% to 47.8%. (Trump +2.3)
In Michigan with its 16 electoral votes and 71% counted, Bidenis winning by 49.3% to 48.8% (Biden + 0.5) Betting odds have Biden at 75%
In Wisconsin with its 10 electoral votes, and 97% counted Biden is up 49.5to 48.8% (Biden + 0.7)
In Georgia with its 16 electoral votes and 92% counted, Trump is up 50.5% to 48.3% (Trump + 2.2)
Assuming Mi, WI, NC., and Georgia go as indicated here, Biden has to win 69% of the remaining votes in PA. In other words, Trump must win 4 of these states.
Arizona with its 11 electoral votes and 84% reporting, Biden is up 51% to 47.6%. (Biden + 3.4)
Nevada with its 6 electoral votes and 67% of votes counting, Biden is up 49.2% to 46.6%. (Biden+ 0.6)

For months, political pundits have said the 2020 presidential election would probably come down to Pennsylvania. Late on election night, it became clear they were right — but nobody is sure yet how the state is going to go, with many votes left to be counted.
With Donald Trump leading in the Sun Belt swing states of Florida, Georgia, and Texas, Pennsylvania’s importance became more and more evident over the course of the night. The state awards 20 votes in the Electoral College. Trump won it by less than 50,000 votes against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

WASHINGTON — A Georgia woman who has promoted the baseless, far-right QAnon conspiracy theory won a seat in the US House of Representatives Tuesday, meaning the controversial and widely debunked movement will soon have a voice in Congress.
Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, who had never run for political office before, was well ahead and projected to win her race for US House District 14, some two months after US President Donald Trump hailed her as a “future Republican star.”
But her promotion of QAnon — a far-right movement claiming that Trump is waging a secret war against a global liberal cult of Satan-worshipping pedophiles — has raised eyebrows.

Jewish voters favored Joe Biden over US President Donald Trump 77%-21% in an exit poll late Tuesday, with few listing Israel as their most pressing voting priority.
The poll by GBAO Strategies for J Street, a liberal Jewish Middle East advocacy group that endorsed Biden, was of 800 voters who voted early or who answered questions on election night.
The figures showed greater Jewish support for Biden than for Hillary Clinton in 2016, with the current candidate securing a 56-point advantage, compared to 45-point lead for the former secretary of state, who was ultimately defeated by Trump.<

This week, three people were murdered inside the Cathdral of Nice by a man shouting “Allahu Akbar!” [“Allah is the Greatest!]. Of of the victims, a woman, was “virtually beheaded”.
“It is time for France to free itself from the laws of peace in order to permanently destroy Islamo-fascism in our territory,” said Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice.
Two days earlier, a note from the French Interior Ministry had announced that, after the beheading of Samuel Paty, the risk of terrorist attacks against churches was “very high”.

At least one person was killed and 15 others injured from the shootings that took place “in the heart of the Austrian capital, hours before the midnight start of a nationwide lockdown, one of several being imposed in Europe to stop the spread of the coronavirus,” The New York Times reported. “As the night wore on, more gunfire was reported elsewhere across Vienna’s First District.”

“The White House on lockdown: A federal law enforcement source tells NBC that beginning tomorrow, crews will build a ‘non-scalable’ fence to secure the WH complex, Ellipse and Lafayette Square,” said NBC White House correspondent Geoff Bennett.
The network reported that the temporary fence surrounding the White House would be similar to the barrier erected to create a perimeter surrounding the White House, similar to the barrier erected in the aftermath.
A study released in mid-October has warned that five states, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Oregon, are at risk.

Regardless of how the election turns out, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the result will be discussed for many years. Media disinformation has made the pandemic a liability for Trump politically, and Joe Biden has not considered himself above politicizing the pandemic for political gain. With the media’s help, Joe Biden has managed to poll better than Trump when it comes to handling the pandemic, even though Joe Biden hasn’t suggested doing anything different than has been done already by Trump.

Its been a very difficult year what with the need to defend President Trump from the smearing and the misinformation that the left is disseminating.
I had to sort out the wheat from the chaff with respect to the Scandemic. Was it a con job? How should Pres Trump deal with it?
I put particular effort into lobbying the Israeli government to approve of Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc in the early stages of the disease. My efforts are ongoing.
It was thrilling to note the tabling of the Deal of the Century in January only to see it fall apart before our eyes, to be replaced by the even greater thrill of successive peace deals with Arab Countries.
And so much more.
To say nothing about advocating for his reelection.
T. Belman. Because of the silent Trump supporters, many people think that asking them how their neighbors will vote is a better indicator of what will happen.
A Draft Kings Election Pool update posted on the eve of Election Day showed that a majority of participants in 49 states believe that President Donald Trump will emerge as the victor in the presidential election.
Two days ago Rasmussen shocked by saying that Biden is ahead of Trump. Because I respect him, that’s scary stuff.
Dr Turley never fails to comfort me. He claims that Florida and Ohio are bell weather states because how they go the nation goes. Trump is leading in both. He also says Trump’s approval rating is sky rocketing to 52%. which is a sure sign of victory.
Then there is the Primary Model which picked the winner of 25 out of 27 elections since 1912. This year it predicted a Trump victory right after the primaries. It predicts Trump has a 91% probability of winning 362 Electoral College Votes.
In a September survey of registered voters, 56% said “yes,” they were better off than 2016. Intriguingly, that 56% is much higher than 1984, 1992, 2004 and 2012, when Presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Barack Obama were running for reelection.
We now know — thanks to October — who will win on November 3. The reason we know is found in early voting data.
October voting is no longer the exclusive domain of the Democratic Party. Both parties vote early and in ever-increasing numbers. Which makes the October vote an early “action report” on the election outcome that’s more reality based than the polls or the mainstream media.
Who you vote for is a secret. When, where, and how many voters cast their ballots is not. It’s data. In this case, data in its most meaningful form: the number of early votes by registered Democrats and the number of early votes by registered Republicans.
You can call me Pollyannish, but I am beginning to believe I may have underestimated the silent Trump vote in my previous posts. This is why.
I mentioned the 2020 Cato Institute poll before, which discusses the high percentage of conservatives who are afraid to express their political views. Something I failed to consider was:
Nearly two??thirds of Latino Americans (65%) and White Americans (64%) and nearly half of African Americans (49%) have political views they are afraid to share.
Why would 65% of Latin voters and 49% of Black voters be afraid to express their political views, especially if 70-90% of them, respectively, are voting for Biden? Are they afraid of the bad orange man, or is a significant portion of these two minority groups part of the silent Trump vote? The answer may be the latter.
