‘The only revenge would be to see our persecutors guillotined’: Barbara Amiel’s knives are out in memoir

T. Belman. I followed this saga from day one.  I felt that the Blacks were mistreated by the press and by the Justice Departments in both Canada and the US.  When Conrad let it be known to his friends that he needed money to meet his legal bills, one such friend, or perhaps acquaintance, Donald Trump, contributed $10,000 to his defense, as I recall.  Black used to be the owner of the Jerusalem Post but was forced to sell his interest due to his financial difficulties..  I remember when Lady Black outed genteel society for being antisemetic.

‘Everyone applauded our undoing,’ Amiel writes in her book, Friends and Enemies, of her and husband Conrad Black’s riches to rags story. Now it’s Amiel’s turn

Barbara Amiel became a household name — in some households an obscenity — in full cooperation and coexistence with her husband, Conrad Black, in a rare and twisting riches to rags story.

Not to elevate sweet and sour reality into fairy tale or myth, but there are meaty elements of modern parable to Amiel moving from high society ballrooms in maddeningly expensive haute couture to visiting her husband in prison with guards measuring the length of her dress because female visitors could not be provocative.

AG Barr Says Feds Cut Chicago Murders IN HALF

PoliticalLookout.com

– Attorney General William Barr announced on Wednesday that federal officers sent in by the Trump administration have cut the murder rate in Chicago almost in half. As part of Operation Legend, led by the Department of Justice, federal officers have managed to quell much of the violence and criminality taking place in the Democrat-run city.

Barr updated journalists during a press conference in Chicago, explaining how Operation Legend has so far successfully overseen the arrest of 500 people committing violent crime, and charged 124 people who are now facing federal crimes. Those arrested face charges ranging from firearm offenses and narcotics distribution to bank fraud.

The New ME, a la Trump and to the chagrin of the Leftists

By BENNY AVNI, NY SUN | September 11, 2020

No sooner has the Arab-Israel Spring started to blossom than the Leftists are up in arms. Gulf capitals now formalizing relations with Jerusalem are, they complain, ruled by non-democratic bad guys. Exhibit a: Bahrain, where a Sunni minority, backed by Saudi Arabia, rules over restive Shiite population.

Bahrain has just announced that it will join the United Arab Emirates Tuesday at a White House ceremony, where President Trump and his top Mideast aide and son in law, Jared Kushner, are scheduled to host Prime Minister Netanyahu and the U.A.E.’s foreign minister, Abdullah bin Zaid. In the event, the first peace agreement between (now two) Arab countries and the Jewish state in a quarter century will be sealed with hand shakes.

Trump campaign reaches 100M voters as team Biden avoids door knocks

T. Belman. When Trump talks about voter fraud, I get the feeling he is not really worried about it. Perhaps he is confidant about his upcoming reelection. Why shouldn’t he be. Everything is coming up roses. Historic peace treaty soon to be signed. Nominated for two Nobel peace prizes. Pandemic is over now and deaths are greatly reduced. Economy is roaring back. Blacks and Latinos are supporting him in increasing numbers. Enjoying huge enthusiasm gap. And he is just getting started.

WASHINGTON — President Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee passed an enormous milestone this week — making contact with their 100 millionth voter through door knocking and phone banking.

The RNC says it has knocked on the doors of 12 million potential voters in battleground states since mid-June — that’s around 1 million a week — while the Biden campaign has knocked on zero.

The wildly different door-to-door strategies could make all the difference in races up and down the ballot in states like New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Michigan, which were won by razor-thin margins in 2016.

The Utopian Virus in Power

Why Marxist revolutionaries are able to sow as much destruction as they do today.

By Jamie Glazov, FPM

Editors’ note: As we witness the Marxist revolution currently transpiring in America, alongside the surreal totalitarian lockdowns, a vital question confronts us: how did the Left achieve so much power to be able to now so effectively damage America and its democracy? What allowed the Left to gain so much control and influence?

This is, without doubt, one of the most pertinent questions of our time. Frontpage Mag editors have therefore deemed it vital to run, below, an excerpt from Jamie Glazov’s book, Jihadist Psychopath: How He is Charming, Seducing, and Devouring Us. The excerpt, which is the third chapter, titled The Virus in Power,” explores how the Left took power in America — and why it had such an easy time doing so. This equips us with the understanding of why Marxists and Lockdown-Enforcers are now able to sow as much destruction as they do today.

Now Is the Time for the US to Revive the Cypriot Peace Talks

By Dmitri Shufutinsky, BESA

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 1,740, September 10, 2020

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In order to counter Ankara’s aggression in the eastern Mediterranean and disrupt its plans to dominate Cyprus, the US should make a peace deal on the island a top regional priority for 2021.

It has been 16 years since the last serious peace proposal for the Mediterranean island of Cyprus was put forward. The island, which was colonized by Britain and then ethnically divided in 1974 through a Turkish military intervention and Greek-inspired coup, has fallen victim to Russian and Turkish exploitation. Its economy has been unable to function properly since at least the Great Recession, a crisis that has only been exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic. The recent signing of deals with Egypt, Italy, Israel, and Greece to export its natural gas to members of the EU could help the Cyprus economy stabilize and grow, but Turkey has vowed to thwart those plans under the guise of a failed peace process.

What Islamists and ‘Wokeists’ Have in Common

Adherents of both pursue ideological purity, refuse to engage in debate and demand submission.

By Ayaan Hirsi Ali, WSJ

A leftist demonstrator protesting President Trump steps on a burning American flag outside the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, January 20, 2017.

There were many American heroes on 9/11, but the greatest were the passengers and crew of Flight 93. Not only did they avert what al Qaeda planned—a direct hit on the White House—but they also embodied Patrick Henry’s credo “Give me liberty, or give me death!”

Do those words still have a meaning in the America of 2020? For two decades, I have opposed the fanatical illiberalism of those strands of Islam that gave rise to al Qaeda. I broke with my Somali family and ultimately with their faith because I believed that it is human freedom that should be sacrosanct, not antiquated doctrines that demand submission by the individual.

The Jewish stake in opposing ‘anti-racism’ training

Race-obsessed diversity training and pushing of ‘white privilege’ theory by gov’t agencies are dangerous to Jews and other minorities. Op-ed

(JNS) – We are in a moment in history when, as one CNN anchor put it, “2020 is being defined in part by this long-overdue reckoning about race.” So when President Donald Trump decided to issue an order banning sensitivity and diversity training based on “critical race theory” and “white privilege,” this was widely denounced as one more example of the administration seeking to both Americans along racial lines. It was also seen as insensitive in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests that have been going on over the past three months since the death of George Floyd.

Many Jews, including the majority who identify as political liberals, believe the move to be an affront to their belief in social justice and the need to work for a society that expunges racism.

Israel Needs an Anti-Propaganda Agency

By September 9, 2020

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 1,738,

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: For five years, the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy has been trying to combat the large number of international delegitimization and boycott campaigns against the Jewish State. Its options to combat international antisemitism are limited, and it is doubtful whether it has properly prioritized the issues at stake. Israel urgently needs a separate anti-propaganda agency, something the Strategic Affairs Ministry should have recommended long ago.

Another Soft Enemy

by Victor Rosenthal

Not long ago I wrote about one of Israel’s “soft enemies,” who choose to fight the Jewish state with money rather than bullets and explosives: the European Union. Indeed, the European Union has just demonstrated its hostility by threatening to torpedo (see also here) the bids of Serbia and Kosovo to join the EU if they persist in their intention to open embassies in Jerusalem.

Now, when the formerly impenetrable anti-Israel solidarity of Arab and Muslim nations has finally begun to crumble, our soft enemies seem to be pursuing the war against Jewish self-determination even more aggressively.  Today I want to discuss yet another one, this time one that weaponizes American dollars: the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Color Revolutions are Not About Color

By Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY  9.10.2020

Color revolution is a known tactical CIA operation that uses a seemingly spontaneous act as the precipitating event to destabilize a country and effect regime change. Color revolution is what is happening in America, and its front line soldiers are Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM).

America’s Own Color Revolution,” a June 29, 2020, Geopolitics article explains how “Hundreds of thousands of young Americans are being used as a battering ram to not only topple a U.S. President, but in the process, the very structures of the U.S. Constitutional order.”

The organization Black Lives Matter (BLM) is not about black lives. BLM is a Marxist organization disguised as a civil rights organization. Instead of improving race relations, BLM exploits racial tensions to collapse America from within and replace our constitutional republic with socialism/communism. BLM is the ultimate humanitarian hoax being perpetrated on unsuspecting Americans who still believe that BLM cares about black lives. They don’t.

Israel should treat the EU like it treats us

T. Belman.  Even more outrageous is the fact that the EU is financing illegal Arab construction in Area C.  They are also financing many NGO’s to challenge Israel policies in the Courts. This amounts to thousands of lawsuits. Not to mention their support of the JCPOA and IRAN.

Functionaries in Brussels are trying to force their anti-Israel position on Kosovo and Serbia, even though those countries are not even member nations.

By Eldad Beck, ISRAEL HAYOM

There is no longer any point in denying reality. All the attempts to paint the situation in the best light, to ignore it, to continue on as if nothing has happened, have been ineffective. The opposite: they only made the European Union’s negative attitude toward Israel worse. Therefore, we need to say it plainly: the European Union’s blatant and ongoing hostility toward Israel, which is now expressed as an ultimatum to Serbia and Kosovo about their decision to relocate their embassies to Jerusalem, has made it into an enemy, and it should be treated as such.

While the US administration is creating a historic precedent by linking a peace process that is not happening in the Middle East to the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and finally allowing Israel to normalize with Kosovo, the EU shows up and makes it clear to Kosovo and Serbia – which are still not member nations – that if they want to be, they must give up their plans to open embassies in Jerusalem, immediately.
