“The conversation that every national security professional should be having.”

Khaled Hassan tweeted his response to this video:

This is the conversation that every national security professional should be having.

Qatar’s remarkably successful use of investment in the West to increase its influence is an issue that I often discuss in private conversations with decision-makers. Much to say here!

  1. The US could stop the influence of Qatar if it wanted to. It is clear that in the US Qatar’s “philanthropy” has led to the destruction of objectivity in University political science departments especially in Middle East studies which have been dominated by pro-Islamic teachers and professors.

It has resulted in “Apartheid Week” on most college campuses in which the Palestinians play the victims and blame their fate on Jews and Israel.

This is not education at all, it is indoctrination. These schools might as well be madrassas for all the objectivity that is taught on these campuses.

  2. I particularly liked the gentleman’s comment about the “socialists” ‘talking water but drinking wine’. Says it all.
It seems that (certain) people jump on to the “socialist” bandwagon because it follows that you are then automatically highly moral. Just announce that you are a “socialist” et voila! instant unassailable morality… Then you can live in your world and say and do the most unspeakably immoral things (not just financially based as we have seen) and show no remorse whatsoever.

  3. VERY interesting!!! This has to be dealt with asap. I believe that the releasing of US energy (and perhaps Canadian energy) will make Qatar far less important.

I particularly liked the gentleman’s comment about the “socialists” ‘talking water but drinking wine’. That says it all. What (certain) people love about “socialism” in all its forms is how highly moral it is. Just call yourself a “socialist” et voila! your virtue is on display for everyone to see and endlessly discuss… And you can do the most corrupt things imaginable without remorse.
