Peloni: The deep repulsion evident throughout this short statement is the tone which should be employed by all descent people when addressing or even discussing the barbaric Hamas. I congratulate President Trump on rising to the moment as the world failed to do so for 15 months.
Following a meeting with the former hostages recently freed from Hamas’ torture tunnels, President Trump issued the following statement:
@Sebastien
Interesting observation, but the important difference between this plan being implemented in Ukraine and in Gaza is that the US has every interest to not back down against Russia even while ignoring Ukraine, but the Arabs have every interest in backing down against Hamas which they bolstered up while October 7 was being planned. US credibility is on the line in Ukraine, but there is nothing on the line in Gaza under these comparable scenario.
@stevenl It just occurred to me that the disengenuous Arab League plan is a parody of Trump’s Ukraine mineral deals plan, using foreign construction companies as human shields.
I think Bibi sincerely wants to get all the hostages out he can and then go back to war. Not just to please Trump or public opinion. His older brother and role model, who is a national hero, died heroically leading the rescue of the hostages at Entebbe. He, himself, was wounded doing the same thing in an elite commando unit during his military service. He wrote about this movingly in his memoir which I listened to as an audio book on Amazon Audible.
Trump is a true friend of Israel. But will Bibi with his generals do the work?
No reconstruction until every single terrorist is out of Gaza!
Actually, IDF should destroy more!
Thank G-d for Donald Trump! Peloni is right – this is what the entire world should be saying now, but Trump is the only statesman with the cojones to do it.
