No matter how often I check my posts some typo always remains unnoticed.

Yes, that’s fascist but…
I wasn’t trying to say that Musk is a fascist.
I was trying to point out what our “lords” think of us “their serfs”.
Their arrogance grows together with their fortunes.
Could we get our own planet, at some point?
Funny you should ask.
This thought have been on my mind for a long time.
There was a wonderful essay online years ago about how the Jews had to move from the Earth to the Moon (which made antisemitism on Earth rise to the fever pitch), I think the title was Please, may we have the Moon?
I didn’t save the text then but I found something which might be the original or something very similar to it (I’ll save it this time):
Think nothing of it. I only wish you well there, and also that I was going too.
A side vignette. When I lived (for 4 years) in Netanya, I used to see a lot of healthy older men, generally US multi-millionaires/moguls, walking up and down on the sea promenade, which is high above the actual beach. {The beach itself was generally filthy, full of clots of tarry oil from ships passing. There was always a running tap, a tin container full of kerosene and a scrubbing brush.}
They expected to throw themselves right into work again, and help revive Israel’s faltering economy. But found that they were not wanted, only their money was. They were shunted aside and although living their dream of coming on Aliyah, they had nothing to do…….except walk up and down the promenade, stop a while and play chess, kibbitz….. and feel a lot older than they’d felt when they arrived.
@Michael That link to the Chinese government’s piece on the Huigyurs also denies all human rights abusr allegations and provides the kind of detailed apparent authoritative, sounding debunking of claims including alleged eye witnesses that we read, hear and see, about nearly everything else. Do you have eye witness evidence yourself, first hand? If it was you who put a thumbs down before I even finished typing, look at it and let me know. It’s long.
@Michael At times, I think you read the bible as though it were a newspaper. I think that’s where you got the bit about everybody having lack of empathy for neighbors. There are several prophets who thundered and cursed like that in there. You have your pick. I imagine that might make functioning in the real world difficult, at times.
@Reader Yes, that’s fascist but he’s right about democratizing Twitter, since antisemites already have access and he invents a lot of cool stuff. Henry Ford was a fascist and antisemite like that. Musk is a supporter of Israel. Nobody should be put on a pedestal. All alliances should he temporary and mutually expedient.

Could we get our own planet, at some point?
@Michael
I was talking about heartfelt concern of Chinese for Uighurs, Tibetans, Falun Gong, Christians, etc., Jews for Christians, Muslims for Jews, etc. Everybody, it seems, is intensely concerned about things their group suffered in WWII,”‘
Once the genie of not believing the popular or official narrative is out of the bottle, eg, Covid, Ukraine, Yugoslavia, Armenia versus Azerbaijan, how can one be expected to differentiate? This sounds as convincing as anything anybody else is saying. (Israel vs the Fakestinians is different because the Fs don’t lie in Arabic and qvell about killing as many Jews as they can. They deserve to be destroyed and removed clearly. Tge Chinese claim the same about the Huighurs. What do I inow.
No not a typo, and I didn’t make aliyah before 1948, I don’t know why you say so. I’ve told the story before on this site, and I’ll run over it again. I was living in Canada, but often back in Ireland for months at a time. On deciding to go to Israel, I first wanted to be with my family in Ireland. So, whilst there, I looked up the shaliach.
Ireland had NO shaliach; but there was one in England who came to Ireland every 2 weeks.????. In those days (maybe today as well) to become a shaliach it was a sort of reward for being a good party shlemiel. THIS Shaliach just happened to be Irish, although living in England, mit a car, and a shtieb and als ding froi. PERKS on steroids.
I knew his older brother very well, we were in school together for years and were friends afterwards too.. This kid, as I recall him was a little prick, and when I finally ran him down, he showed he hadn’t changed a bit. First I sent him a message through his brother. Nothing happened for a couple of weeks. So I got his address, it was the Israeli Embassy in London.
{A side-note; Just the other day, reading about one of my favourite authors, Thackeray, I read that his home was now the Israeli Embassy.}
Anyway, I got no reply from the little P, so I phoned; 4 times before I caught him. He said he’d be in Dublin at the weekend, and could be contacted through his brother. all very slipshod. I spoke to his brother about it. He told me that the little P. (his name actually happens to also begin with “P”) very rarely comes over, stays with him, but sends in a big bill for a good room at one of the top hotels in Dublin PLUS meals, every 2 weeks. He thought it very funny, and the way he told it, it was funny.
Anyway he didn’t arrive that weekend. I got fed up after another week and actually had to fly over to London to see if I could catch him at the Embassy. I was thinking all the time, “I thought that Israel was very keen to get Olim, etc. He wasn’t there but I was delighted to see an old school pal “working” there, as a sort of “gofer|” (although he said he was a guard-hard to imagine). I used to walk him home nearly every day from school or chaidar.. He used to act the fool in class, and got low marks, and lots of leather strap, but was a good, decent guy. His poor father, an old fashioned dentist with a club foot, and only few patients, used to moan to me “I dont no vat’s to bekom mit mein Moshe”…
Anyway I went back to Dublin and left a scalding message for the little P.
After about another week he finally arrived, and I saw him at his brother’s home. He didn’t know that I knew what was going on. (I still have copies of my letters…all libellous)
{I’ve already related that due to the publicity about HIM and my general reception, He sued both myself and the Magazine-he lost}
Believe it or not, it took another2 months before I got a telegram from Israel, saying “an apartment “would be\’ available in Holon”. I was back in Canada then., and was .delighted. I responded that I would immediately make preparations. . In those days, goods were VERY sparse in Israel and Olim had import privileges. There was a booklet giving the items allowed free of duty and tax, some just duty-free. .(It took 8-10 years to get a phone) . By this time my girl friend had determined to come with me.
So we flew to Israel. I’ve already described how we were received (by nobody) and that there were NO apartments -and a lot more. “A Run-a-round” would not even slightly describe what we landed into..feet first T.G. it could have ben HEAD first.
Fortunately I had cousins there, one of whom was the editor of a department of L’Isha. And we stayed with his family for a couple of weeks whilst another, older cousin (of my dear mother) found a furnished apartment in Givatayim. It was damned expensive. (Rent was in USD) and my girl friend and I were married in that apartment. I’ve already related the whole story. (an English speaker was always “an American millionaire)
I could write a whole book about that first 6 months in Israel.

Modern-day Fascists… …are after all of us….
Here is what Elon Musk wants to turn the American Dream into:
11 May, 2022 21:36 Chinese outperform work-shy Americans – Musk
Elon Musk praises Chinese labor, says people in the US “are trying to avoid going to work at all”
Tesla has reportedly employed some labor practices at its Shanghai factory that it clearly couldn’t or wouldn’t try in the US. For example, Bloomberg reported last month that after a three-week lockdown ended, workers at the plant were required to sleep and eat on the factory floor. Each employee was issued a sleeping bag and an air mattress and required to work 12-hour shifts, six days a week.
