J Street Sponsors Conference Featuring Speaker Who Praised Hamas

Peloni:  The Democrat tag along J-Street can not free itself from its master’s radicalism with which it is so well tied.  Buyer beware.

J Street, the Soros backed anti-Israel lobby, is taking the opportunity created by the Democrat embrace of antisemitism to try and sneak into the Jewish community by arguing that this proves it was right all along and by promising to make it better.

The reality is that J Street is what it has always been, a radical leftist group dedicated to mainstreaming opposition to Israel.

And as the Dems and the Left get more extreme, so does J Street. In this case it’s J Street U, the org’s campus group, which has always been even more extreme than its parent group, originally run by a Muslim activist and now cosponsoring hate like this.

J Street’s college group is co-sponsoring this weekend’s College Democrats of America convention that will feature far-left, antisemitic influencer Hasan Piker.

J Street U, the student organizing arm of J Street, “is proud to sponsor and participate in the College Democrats Convention,” Jeremy Ben-Ami, president of J Street, told Jewish Insider on Friday, hours after Piker was announced as the convention’s “surprise speaker.”

Despite facing scrutiny over comments including justifying Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks, calling Orthodox Jews “inbred” and asserting that America deserved 9/11, Piker has recently been invited to speak at several high-profile events, including at The New Yorker‘s annual festival and at the Yale Political Union.

Here was the Turkish Muslim’s speech

This is what J Street is cosponsoring.

  1. PALESTINIAN MEDIA WATCH
“Wholocide” – a new Palestinian word to demonize Israel
    Itamar Marcus | Jul 20, 2026

The Palestinian Authority claims Israel’s so-called genocide in Gaza is so extreme that it necessitates creating a new term to describe it, writes WAFA, the official Palestinian Authority news agency. The new Palestinian libel combines the word “whole” with the word “genocide” to create “Wholocide” – to describe the complete or “whole” destruction that is worse than a regular “genocide.” The new term also includes the Arabic word “Ahwal,” meaning “horrors.”

The term was proposed by the Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights (ACHR), which called on governments, universities, human rights organizations, media outlets, artists, and social media users to introduce it into academic research, cultural works, and public discourse.

This “Wholocide” libel is intended to signify that Israel’s crime exceeds ordinary “genocide” and serves another purpose: “Wholo” deliberately echoes “Holo” in “Holocaust.”

The invention reinforces the PA’s recurring libel that Israel is committing crimes even worse than those of Nazi Germany.

The ACHR seeks to establish “Wholocide” as an internationally recognized historical concept parallel to the Holocaust, complete with its own terminology, commemorative events, academic literature, and annual remembrance day.

In an attempt to manufacture a Palestinian equivalent of Holocaust remembrance, the committee designated October 17 as an annual “Wholocide” memorial day.

Even the date chosen for the new commemoration is based on a libel of Israel. October 17, 2023, was the date of the explosion in the parking area of Gaza City’s Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. Hamas, the PA, and the world media immediately blamed Israel and announced a vastly inflated death toll. However, video evidence proved that the explosion was caused by a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket rather than an Israeli airstrike, and even the anti-Israel Human Rights Watch concurred.

Yet in a staggering display of farcical propaganda, the ACHR chose an event in which Palestinians murdered Palestinians as the symbolic foundation of its campaign, accusing Israel of “Wholocide.”

Here is the anatomy of the Palestinian libel:

    1. A Palestinian terror group misfires a rocket.

    2. Palestinians kill Palestinians.

    3. Israel is blamed.

    4. The date of the libel is elevated into an annual international day of remembrance.

The following is how WAFA, the official PA news agency, then promotes this fabricated “Wholocide” libel and urges the world to institutionalize it:

Headline: “ACHR calls for adoption of ‘Ahwal’ and ‘Wholocide’ as designations for Israel’s genocide against Palestinians”

“The Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights (ACHR) called on Wednesday for the adoption of the Arabic term ‘Ahwal’ (translated as ‘Horrors’) and the foreign languages term ‘Wholocide’ as designations for Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip…

The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Mohannad Al-Aklouk… explained that the initiative had been pursued for two and a half years before culminating in the designation of October 17 as the annual day to commemorate the victims of the ‘Ahwal’ and to pursue its perpetrators through all available national, regional, and international legal mechanisms.

He noted that the date marks the killing of more than 700 Palestinians within less than 24 hours, including victims of the massacre at the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital (Baptist Hospital) in Gaza City, as well as other massacres in the city.

Ambassador Al-Aklouk said the designation ‘Ahwal’/ ‘Wholocide’ was inspired by the words and suffering of genocide victims themselves…

He called on human rights organizations, educational institutions, universities, research and cultural centers, media outlets, artists, bloggers, social media users, and other public influencers to adopt the designations in their activities, publications, academic research, and cultural works in order to preserve the memory of the victims of the genocide, honor those who were killed, and safeguard the national and human memory of a crime that will not be erased by the passage of time.”
