America’s Color Revolution

By Paul Craig Roberts September 14, 2020

I have provided evidence that the military/security complex, using the media and the Democrats, intends to turn the November election into a color revolution here,  here and here.  The CIA is very experienced at color revolutions, having pulled them off in a number of countries where the existing government did not suit the CIA.  As we have known  since CIA Director John Brennan’s denunciations of President Trump, Trump doesn’t suit the CIA either. As far as the CIA is concerned, Trump is no different from Hugo Chavez, Nicolas Maduro, Charles de Gaulle, Manuel Zelaya, Evo Morales, Viktor Yanukovych, and a large number of others.

Qatar Is Pro-Iran and Anti-Gulf Arabs

By Dr. Edy Cohen, BESA

Doha skyline from the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha, Qatar

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Normalized relations between Gulf States and Israel function as a deterrent to Iran. Qatar, which favors Iran at its Gulf neighbors’ expense, opposes this trend. Qatar and its Aljazeera mouthpiece must not be allowed to drive a wedge between Israel and its current and prospective peace partners in the Gulf.

The Arab world is far less divided today than it has been in recent years, and is moving in a positive direction toward conciliation and unity. Just one Arab country—Qatar—stands out like a sore thumb against this renewed Arab consensus through its support for the Muslim Brotherhood, cozy relationship with Iran, and funding of terrorist organizations. Doha is the only Arab capital to oppose normalization and peace between Israel, the UAE, and Bahrain, and it will likely reject any further peaceful developments between Jerusalem and other Gulf States.

The cultural genius of the Abraham Accord

T. Belman.  By dubbing this the Abraham Accords, Trump is tapping into the Bible to draw from the fact that Isaac and Ishmael are brothers. This accord, reunites them.

When Mudar Zahran  and I crafted the Jordan Option we began our vision from the Palestine Mandate which was home to both Jews and Arabs. We noted it was divided into two separate parts, just prior to the signing by the League of Nations, one for the Jews, west of the Jordan River and one for the Arabs east of the Jordan River. We envisaged that a future peace must return to this division and not the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002.  In addition, we drew from the Feisal/Weizmann  agreement of 1919 which provided for the Arabs to welcome the Jews back and for the Jews to help the Arab economy.  This was intended the be the basis for the peace that we were advocating for. And so, it will be, thanks to Trump.

Pressure to keep up with the UAE will lead more Arab countries to open up formal ties with Israel. Op-ed.

(JNS) – The Arabic concept of balance (“mu-wazana”) plays a critical role in virtually every aspect of life in the Muslim world.

Unlike its Western version—”keeping up with the Joneses”—mu-wazana does not have a negative connotation. Rather than depicting the need to amass material goods to match the status or worth of one’s neighbors, mu-wazana means maintaining balance with other tribes or nations. In the Middle East, this is considered not only a positive, natural phenomenon, but a matter of survival.

The Democratic-CAIR partnership

CAIR is a terrorist organization and the Democrats partner with them.

By Caroline Glick, JPOST

Joe Biden speaking with voters in Lancaster, PA

(JNS) The U.S.-brokered peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, which is scheduled to be finalized this week at the White House, strikes a major blow to the twin forces of Islamic imperialism and terror in the Middle East: the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood and the Shi’ite regime in Iran. The tripartite alliance between the United States, Israel and the UAE, openly supported by Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco, gives an institutional structure to a pro-American regional bloc of moderate, anti-jihadist governments all with proven track records of action against the Muslim Brotherhood, Iran and their surrogates.

Is it time to ‘normalize’ the Temple Mount?

T. Belman. During my conference on the Jordan Option in Jerusalem on Oct 17/17, I suggested to Mudar Zahran that a new arrangement on the Temple Mount was necessary.  I suggested that the Muslims should no longer claim the whole of the Temple Mount as their holy site but that they should be limited to the area around the Al Aqsa Mosque. The rest, I proposed should be recognized as a Jewish Holy site.  He agreed. This exchange is recorded in the questions I posed to him after his speech.

When Trump tabled his Deal of the Century in Jan 2020, it specifically envisaged a new arrangement whereby Jews could pray there.

We envisaged a new Middle East and Trump is delivering.

Normalization is the buzzword of the moment. We are now normalizing things that had been abnormal for far too long.

By Nave Dromi, JPOST

SECURITY FORCES escort a group of religious Jews during a visit to the Temple Mount last month.

It is no coincidence that the deal to normalize relations between the State of Israel and the United Arab Emirates is called the “Abraham Accords.” The patriarch, common to both Judaism and Islam, is revered by both as the progenitor of both religions and peoples.

Both Jews and Muslims believe that Abraham was told to sacrifice his son, while commentators differ on the identity of the son. Jews of course believe that the binding of Isaac was a scene set on the Temple Mount that earlier was the point of creation and later became the location for the two greatest houses of worship for the Jewish nation.

US assured UAE it won’t back Israel annexation before 2024 at earliest, ToI told

T. Belman. Israel has not agreed to table the extension of sovereignty so they’re not committed to it.  So UAE have to rely on Trump’s assurance only. Israel is not even bound to wait for Trump’s approval.  She can extend sovereignty before the end of the year without Trump’s approval.

Besides, it is implied that “all things being equal” preceded Trump’s assurance that he  would not recognize Israel’s annexation etc.

Notice he didn’t assure them that Israel won’t extend sovereignty for 4 years, only that he wouldn’t recognize it if she did.  I am not all all concerned about Trump’s assurance.  Things can change.

UAE prioritized receiving assurances from Washington, sources say, given that Netanyahu has made clear he won’t advance controversial move without US support

NEW YORK — The Trump administration gave the UAE a commitment during normalization negotiations that Washington would not recognize Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank until 2024 at the earliest, sources with direct knowledge of the matter have told The Times of Israel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had for months promised to annex large parts of the West Bank as early as July 1, but that plan was officially suspended as part of the normalization agreement with the UAE. However, the sides have not formally provided an exact time-frame for how long the matter has been “taken off the table,” as US President Donald Trump put it last month.

A Just Society – or Changing the Color of the Oppressors?

By Victor Rosenthal

There is no greater offense to human rights, short of murder, than slavery. It’s hard to imagine a more viciously evil enterprise than the slave trade to the Americas. The treatment of those Africans who survived the crossing to the New World was mostly inhuman, and – in the US – the treatment of their descendants after emancipation and the short period of Reconstruction was a stain on the moral history of the nation. It wasn’t until fully 100 years after the Civil War that oppressive, discriminatory laws were removed from the books. Along with legal segregation, blacks were victims of pervasive extralegal violence, including lynching, for trivial “offenses.” Such violence was rarely punished.

Turkish Hyper-Activity Reverberates Throughout the Middle East

Turkish Hyper-Activity Reverberates Throughout the Middle East

President Erdo?an receives Palestinian President Abbas with an Ottoman honor guard in 2015. (Turkish Presidential Office)

  • In recent months, Turkey has increased its efforts to enhance its position as a regional power following in the path of the Ottoman Empire, adopting daring measures that border on megalomania at home, in the region, and internationally.
  • A video with distinct nationalistic themes was recently broadcast by the Turkish Ministry of Information. The film is entitled, “The Red Apple [kizil elma],” which is a Turkish cultural concept describing Turkey’s ambition to achieve superpower status. Beyond the context of Turkey’s religious battles in Istanbul, the Turkish video also displays a troubling appetite for Jerusalem and Saudi Arabia’s holy sites in Mecca and Medina.

How Cultural Marxism Is Grinding Christianity Down

By John Eidson, AM THINKER

During a recent prayer session in support of Black Lives Matter, the pastor of St. Xavier Catholic Church in New York City instructed white congregants that they must renounce their white privilege to help “transform the church culture.”  Using the noble cause of racial equality as a fig leaf, Black Lives Matter is in fact a violent political organization whose Marxist ideology is anti-Christian — and anti-American — in the most profound meaning of those terms.  In many churches across America, cultural Marxists in the pulpit are quietly supplanting traditional Christian values with those of the hammer and sickle.

Bahrain-Israel deal shows why Trump deserves Nobel Peace Prize

Rabbi Abraham Cooper: I have met with King Hamad of Bahrain and know he is a peacemaker

By Rabbi Abraham Cooper | Fox News

Trump brokers Middle East peace deal between Israel and Bahrain

President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to establish peaceful relations between Israel and its Arab neighbors, which took a big step forward Friday with the announcement that Israel and Bahrain will establish diplomatic ties.

Friday’s announcement follows the agreement last month by the United Arab Emirates and Israel to normalize relations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan are scheduled to join President Trump at the White House Tuesday to sign that agreement.

Raymond Ibrahim Interview: Truth About Islam Must Be Acknowledged

How an ideology’s teachings are antithetical to Western values.

Note: Journalist Niram Ferretti interviews Raymond Ibrahim, a Shillman Fellow at the Freedom Center, for the Italian publication, L’Informale (original here).  Pasted below are excerpts from the English version.

Question: How much is the concept of jihad intended as holy war, central to the way Islam has interpreted itself during the centuries?

The concept of jihad was central from the start—at least according to the earliest Muslim historians who often portray the first warriors of Allah as being zealously motivated by the notion of jihad.

Tillerson accused Israel of doctoring Abbas video

A video showing Abbas ordering child murder was not believed by US Sec. of State. He only had to do some homework.

In the September 11th, 2020 edition of The Jewish Insider, Matthew Kassel writes that Bob Woodward recounts an incident on May 22, 2017, when President Trump met with Netanyahu in Israel and gave him a video of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

“It sounded like Abbas was ordering the murder of children,” Woodward wrote. Trump, who was to meet with Abbas the next day was appalled. But US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who watched the “spliced-together” video, believed Netanyahu had manipulated the tape to “counter any pro-Palestinian sentiments that were surfacing,” according to Woodward, though Jared Kushner disputed this accusation.

The Right plays by the rules. The left plays by no rules.

By Nachman Kanovsky

I recently wrote a short blurb about the chutzpah of Andrew Cuomo to have recently accused Trump of causing Covid in New York. One of my recipients claimed that it was all politics and that everyone does it. Below is my response to him.

EQUIVOCATION

One of the most pervasive and insidious tactics of those who debate from the left side of the political spectrum (as rarely as they do) is the argument of “equivocation” i.e., “both sides do it,” “there is good and evil on both sides,” etc., ad nauseum.  In the cold war days when the ruthlessness of the communist system was in full display, it was typical for intellectuals to argue that America, representing the democratic “free world,” was equally “imperialistic” as the communists. Of course that was utter nonsense.  The Left accused the US of “economic imperialism,” or even worse by citing some covert CIA tactics or missions. But was the US even remotely as authoritarian and freedom-depriving of its citizens as were the Soviet bloc countries, Red China, North Korea, North Vietnam, and Cuba? Did America choose to occupy and control the countries it liberated in WWII? Both sides did seek to impose its influence and way of life on the world as a whole. One side did it with guns, armies, and with other accoutrements of the police state while we peddled our “influence” far more gently, and often magnanimously. America was hardly the equivalent of the other side.

‘The only revenge would be to see our persecutors guillotined’: Barbara Amiel’s knives are out in memoir

T. Belman. I followed this saga from day one.  I felt that the Blacks were mistreated by the press and by the Justice Departments in both Canada and the US.  When Conrad let it be known to his friends that he needed money to meet his legal bills, one such friend, or perhaps acquaintance, Donald Trump, contributed $10,000 to his defense, as I recall.  Black used to be the owner of the Jerusalem Post but was forced to sell his interest due to his financial difficulties..  I remember when Lady Black outed genteel society for being antisemetic.

‘Everyone applauded our undoing,’ Amiel writes in her book, Friends and Enemies, of her and husband Conrad Black’s riches to rags story. Now it’s Amiel’s turn

By Adrian Humphreys, NATIONAL POST

Barbara Amiel became a household name — in some households an obscenity — in full cooperation and coexistence with her husband, Conrad Black, in a rare and twisting riches to rags story.

Not to elevate sweet and sour reality into fairy tale or myth, but there are meaty elements of modern parable to Amiel moving from high society ballrooms in maddeningly expensive haute couture to visiting her husband in prison with guards measuring the length of her dress because female visitors could not be provocative.

AG Barr Says Feds Cut Chicago Murders IN HALF

PoliticalLookout.com

– Attorney General William Barr announced on Wednesday that federal officers sent in by the Trump administration have cut the murder rate in Chicago almost in half. As part of Operation Legend, led by the Department of Justice, federal officers have managed to quell much of the violence and criminality taking place in the Democrat-run city.

Barr updated journalists during a press conference in Chicago, explaining how Operation Legend has so far successfully overseen the arrest of 500 people committing violent crime, and charged 124 people who are now facing federal crimes. Those arrested face charges ranging from firearm offenses and narcotics distribution to bank fraud.
