First there was the disconcerting news of a Muslim-only community being built in East Plano, Texas, and now Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced his office has launched a formal investigation into a similar project for a sharia compliant city for 20,000 foreign nationals in rural Kaufman County, backed with Saudi money.

Now, I have no problem with religious people wanting to live in such a uniform community. The Satmar Jews in Brooklyn and Kiryas Yoel in Orange County north of New York City do that. In the name of equal treatment under the law, I have no problem with these projects of building all-Muslim communities.

Peloni:  The way to combat radicalism and foreign influence in the US educational system is not to disclose how badly foreigners are manipulating and weaponizing the American education system against America, but to actually intercede and prevent such influence from occurring.  Knowing what is taking place is only relevant and useful if it actually leads to remedying any malfeasance taking place.  Hence, it would seem a rational conclusion that it is not enough for Americans to know how badly Qatar and Saudi Arabia are influencing their children’s education which is the goal of the Accountability Portal, as such disclosures do nothing to limit the influence being disclosed.  Despite the quaint name, there seems to be a stark lacking of accountability in the  Accountability Portal which might be better named the Transparency Portal.  The US needs to eliminate this foreign funding for the indoctrination process for the successive generations of America, not just expose it.

The new mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, is consumed with anti-Israel animus. He refuses to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. He will not denounce the chant “from the river to the sea/Palestine will be free,” which means that Israel should disappear, and be replaced by a twenty-third Arab state. He has not denounced the call to “globalize the Intifada,” which means to kill Jews not just in Israel, but everywhere. And he is a supporter of the BDS (Boycott, Divest and Sanction) Movement, that aims to damage Israel economically.

Peloni:  As the MAGA talking heads led by Tucker Carlson libel Israel with invented crimes against Christians, the blasphemy laws in US allied nations remain outside the limit of their interest, even as they might visit those nations as Tucker Carlson just recently visited Jordan.  Interestingly enough, World Population Review lists nations around the world where Christians face persecution and rank them accordingly with a score (higher indicates greater persecution).  Notably, Jordan ranks 65 on this scale, just below Egypt (ranked 65), which was itself just below Qatar (tied with Turkey with a ranking of 67), a country which Carlson has described as a place he would like to live among their “good people”.  Saudi Arabia earned a notably alarming rank of 91.  The spotlight needs to be shined upon the practices of America’s allies who truly do persecute Christians, particularly in light of those would be American leaders who falsely chastise the only country in the Middle East where Christians are actually thriving, and that nation is Israel.

Peloni:  The dominant role which Trump placed in Tom Barrack hands when he raised him to such a prominent position in the Middle East has always belied a serious warning sign for Trump’s Middle East policy.  Turkey is an expansionist power, and has taken advantage of Trump’s pro Turkey posture on two occasions to expand its acquisitions.  The first was in 2018 and the second was over the past year, but both occasions relate to Turkey’s rising expansion in Syria.  This, however, is not the limit of his expansionist aims, even as he now has control over part of Crete and is looking to increase his control in Libya.

Barack plays a key role as US ambassador to Turkey, Special Envoy to Syria, and one of the key figures in American policy in the Levant, while also keeping constant dialogues with Gulf state actors.

Janet Levy:  Does the Trump Administration Support Israel?

Qatar funds Hamas, making them the “author” of the October 7th massacre.

After Israel retaliated by attacking Hamas senior operatives being sheltered in Doha, Trump did the following:

1.  Forced Israel to stop the operation,
2.  Made Netanyahu apologize to his good friend, Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar,
3.  Issued an Executive Order that stated that “an attack on Qatar will be viewed as an attack on the U.S.,”
4. Announced that the U.S. will train the Qatari Air Force.

American Firsters fail to see this as a special paean to Qatar.  So much for America First!  Or perhaps prioritizing Israel is verboten but aiding the terrorist state of Qatar is copacetic.

Does America First mean the U.S. should protect Qatar, a jihadi state allied with the Muslim Brotherhood which will mean “Death to America.”

It seems logical to support Israel as they are at the forefront of stopping the jihadis who want to destroy Western civilization.

The issue of incitement in the Palestinian school curricula places the Palestinian Authority (PA)  in a bind that threatens its economic and its political stability. On the one hand, its economic survival depends on reform of the school curricula: On May 7, 2025, the European Parliament voted to freeze its education budgets until a comprehensive reform is carried out to bring the curricula up to UNESCO standards – that is, until antisemitism, incitement to violence, and glorification of terrorism are completely removed from them. The demand for curricular reform was also included in the August 4, 2025 New York Declaration promoting the two-state solution, and found expression in PA President Mahmoud Abbas’s personal commitment to French President Emmanuel Macron.[1]

I am writing to you because I am having trouble understanding your current foreign policy as it pertains to Iran, Hamas, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. I am very confused over these negotiations especially with Iran and Hamas. Please explain why you are negotiating with Iran over a nuclear program that your B-2 bomber attack destroyed. I know that you know way more than I do, but on its face, you are missing a very important fact. The fact is that religious Islamic doctrine clearly and unequivocally states that Islam must destroy the West, kill Jews and Christians, and establish a worldwide Islamic caliphate. These are uncontested facts, Mr. President. Islamic doctrine is the unifying and guiding religious ideology for all Sunni and Shia Muslims worldwide.
