In order to explain Canada’s recent and dramatic tilt towards tyranny under Canada’s first unelected parliamentary majority (they ‘persuaded’ already elected Conservative MPs to defect) one must first go back in time and ask why Fascist Japan and Nazi Germany were such close allies before and during WWII?
PELONI: Is America so willing to return its safety, security and economics to the untethered control of the Islamist-Leftist cabal from which it so recently regained its freedom, and which has only become far more untethered than ever before since loosing power two years ago? It is said that economics always decides the next election. “It’s what is jingling in your pocket that wins your vote…” Well, if this were true, there would be little chance that Americans would so willingly place themselves in the hands of those who purposefully focused economic hardship on the American people under the last administration. I share Pamela Geller’s disgust with modern polling, but if in the end as they prove prophetic, the economic hardships which are now leading the world’s only Superpower towards such a self destructive elective choice will see that choice result in the economic and electoral destruction for generations to come. So, yes, I agree, I don’t believe the polls cited below, because I believe that the American people are far more likely to choose a course which will secure their future, which was the basis behind the motto above which indicates that economics alone will decide the next election. Of course, time will tell if this is so…

I have little faith in pollsters for obvious reasons. As a rule, they are politically biased and wrong. But if there is an inkling of truth to these polls, then country is already cooked. Done. The Democrats offer terror, communism, politcal violence and subjugation. There is no contest in this war of ideas – freedom versus slavery.

The British Police say that the five men arrested in connection with a suspected bomb plot targeting RAF Fairford are all British nationals. Nothing has yet been said officially about who was behind the plot. The risk to US assets and personnel in the UK remains extremely high.

Elections spawn irresponsible rhetoric and unsubstantiated libels, but the simple truth is that there was plenty of warning available for any reasonable person who was not already decidedly certain that Hamas was not going to attack because they were opportunists rather than ideologues. This was part of the old Conceptzia which had intelligence warnings being ignored when they should have been acted upon.
PELONI: Fascinating review article by Reuel Marc Gerecht depicting the Iranians as the true source of their own misery if not destiny. I think there is much evidence to support the import influence of Western efforts to bring about what we are facing today in Iran, but the truth remains that the people of Iran are not entirely voiceless and in expressing their voice in last January’s elections, we saw the consequences of them doing so without an alliance with those on who they might find real support and on whom they might be able to trust with their survival. Nonetheless, these stories described below provide an important corollary to what toll the West has played in the influencing the Iranians to where they stand today, and in weighing both the agency of the Iranian people alongside the artful influence and support of the Western world is likely the only way in which the Iranian people might be returned to a state of true sovereignty for what comes next.

A recurring problem with contemporary books about the Islamic Republic is that authors often deny Iranians the agency they deserve. Especially on the left, Western and Iranian journalists and scholars can embrace this crippling sentiment since it’s been a way to cast off blame for the ugliness—the primitiveness—of the Islamic revolution and the theocracy that followed.

From my balcony in the Judean mountains, I can see the lights of Jordan on a clear night and the skyline of Amman at sunrise. On other nights I simply look south and east and know that the same Iranian missiles and drones from the Houthis in Yemen threatening my children and grandchildren are also threatening the mosques, holy cities, the oil fields and very capitol that keep the House of Saud in power. That is the uncomfortable intimacy of this region. We are not friends. We are not yet even fully acknowledged as legitimate neighbors. Yet Riyadh is knocking on Jerusalem’s door like a man who has four wives and seeks out his mistress for marital counseling.
Let’s call it what it is. Saudi Arabia is treating Israel as that secret mistress.
