It is an incredibly sad moment when a meeting takes place at the United Nations, an institution that was created and intended to represent all the nations of the world, but was unable to do so.  Its purpose was meant for all, whether, as in this case, they dislike Israel, oppose Israel, or contribute to the growing problem of antisemitism. Rather, its purpose is to provide an opportunity for discussion and is open to opinions of all nations.

PELONI:  The last time an Arab party was blocked from running by the Central Elections Committee and that decision wasn’t reversed was in 1965, when the Supreme Court upheld rather than reverse the disqualification of the Arab-led Socialist List.  Don’t look for any of the four Arab parties (parties not individuals) to be banned in the upcoming election.  Their support for the Left is crucial to the Left being able to form either a minority or majority govt unless the Haredi parties abandon the Right Bloc for the Left.

With most polls continuing to project a close deadlock between Israel’s major party blocs, the Central Elections Committee (CEC) on Wednesday voted to bar the Arab parties from running in the Oct. 27 elections, though the High Court is expected to overturn the decision.

PELONI:  Keep in mind the moral courage displayed by this student as he refuses to have his demand ignored, and take note of how far El Sayed goes to try to pretend this young champion did not directly challenge him.   It comes to a point that when trying to force people to do the right thing, or to say the right thing, that the effort to force them to do so comes to represent the reality that the attempt to ignore such challenges as these is not due moral cowardice by El Sayed, but that it conflicts with his true convictions, which are themselves too toxic to honestly address his complete disregard for the plight of the tens of thousands of innocent protestors that were butchered so as to preserve the IRGC political structure.  So, like the effort to see JD Vance distance himself from Carlson, or the effort to see Obama distance himself from Reverand Wright (remember him), the refusal to do the right thing is not moral cowardice, but simply an alternate form of convictions which is so foreign and reproachable that some will continue to ignore what is plain as the courage displayed by this young man in holding firm to challenging El Sayed.

PELONI:  The future of America, Iran, the entire Middle East, and the entire world economy will be determinant upon how Trump responds in this moment.  Trump recognized the relative importance of all of this, which is why he embarked on this war in the beginning.  Well, we are now approaching the end of the war, and the manner in which Trump actually pursues his objectives in this war will determine how the coming century will proceed.  Trump has always argued that the can can not simply be kicked down the road, that the buck must finally stop being passed from one president to the next.  So will he hold true to this standard, or will he provide the IRGC overlords in Iran with the means by which to tease out a momentary hudna guaranteeing only a delay for their plans of subjugation of the West, and Armageddon for the entire world.

PELONI:  As long as the West continues to prefer focusing on dealing with the symptoms of having been infiltrated by Islamists rather than doing the hard work of actually addressing the source of that infiltration, ie Islamist financial access to the West and Muslim Brotherhood presence in the West, the most that might be hope for is the continued ability to detect planned attacks such as this and other before they actually take place.  The reality, however, is that it is unlikely that such detection will continue to be successful as the nidus of Islamic infection in the West is left to expand without consequence.   The prevention of these Islamist attacks is simply a foreboding warning of coming great tragedies yet to be realized…which might be better dealt with by eliminating the sources of this problem rather than simply anticipating its symptoms.

We’ve gone from “Muslims oppose terrorism” to “Muslims support terrorism and that’s good.”

“Muslim friends and citizens, tax-paying citizens, and Muslims in nations were just appalled and could not believe what we saw on our TV screens. These acts of violence against innocents violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith. And it’s important for my fellow Americans to understand that,” President George W. Bush had claimed in remarks at a mosque after 9/11 while accompanied by terror-linked Islamists. “The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That’s not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace. These terrorists don’t represent peace.”

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice recently asked the former president to talk about his mosque visit after the attacks to “make sure that our Muslim American citizens knew that we didn’t blame them for what had happened.” Bush chimed in, “I also made it clear that Islam was a religion of peace, not a religion of war, and that these people subverted their religion.”
