Peloni: The importance of this development is very telling. It seems that the Deep State allies in the Congress are apprehensive about what might be investigated and exposed by a Trump pick to lead the FBI.
The only reply to such a Faustian gambit as this should be a curt and easy NO!

The “Big Ugly” was always a description of the battle that few understood. You cannot be betrayed by your enemies; that happens when your allies reveal themselves against your interests. Majority Leader John Thune will play his cards carefully in order to extract maximum damage.
The Brothers’ Struggle: Secrets of What’s Happening in the Palaces of the Bani Zayed, Part One
?? There is a hidden struggle for power in the UAE among the sons of the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, and a hidden conflict against the Al Maktoum family, rulers of Dubai, especially His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.
?? The key figures in this struggle are His Excellency Mohammed bin Zayed, the President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed; and His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed.
?? Mohammed bin Zayed is a man with ambitions to become an emperor. He was born a billionaire, seeking self-fulfillment. The one who has capitalized on Mohammed bin Zayed’s ambitions, as I have mentioned multiple times, is the Palestinian politician Mohammed Dahlan, an advisor to the UAE’s president, who manipulates the president as if he were a mere toy.

Could France under the Macron government be on a head-on collision course with the newly elected Trump administration following his sweeping victory earlier this month?
There is good reason for making the case that this might well be so.
Ominous Indications
Indeed, an ominous indication of the deterioration of French policy and its divergence from US-led Western consensus could, arguably, have been evident in a recent decision to release the long-imprisoned Lebanese terrorist, Georges Ibrahim Abdallah.

Since the October 7th massacre in southern Israel and the outbreak of the war in Gaza, China’s leadership has conveyed outright support in word and deed for the Iran-led “Axis of Resistance.” The display of strategic vulnerability by Iran and its proxies since mid-August appears to have prompted Beijing to pause and reassess. Upon return from the National Day holiday in early October, China’s official messaging on Iran noticeably shifted. This adjustment has been further underscored by commentary from Chinese policy advisers specializing in the Middle East.
As events on the ground led to a review of its Middle East policies, China is refraining from outright public support of Iran and the Axis of Resistance it leads, at least for the time being. This is borne out by the striking difference between China’s response to Iran’s missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on Israel in mid-April and its reaction to the latest ballistic missile attack on Israel by Iran on October 1. Similarly, the Chinese response to Israel’s retaliatory strike on Iran on October 28 reflected this revised approach. While the Foreign Ministry refrained from condemning Israel per se for its most recent attack, one of China’s most respected Middle East policy advisers all but justified it in an op-ed published in the China Daily.

A prominent institute for the study of antisemitism has once again chosen a professor who is hostile to Israel and Zionists to deliver a lecture about Israel and Zionists.
The Birkbeck Institute for the Study of Antisemitism, based at the University of London, has announced a December 3 online program about “Aliya, Antisemitism, and U.S. Zionism in the World,” featuring Doug Rossinow, a professor in Minnesota who has been harshly attacking Israel for more than twenty years.
Less than a week after the pogrom in Amsterdam, UN celebrity Jew-baiter Francesca Albanese was scheduled to speak in London. Albanese has embraced authoritarian anti-Semitism and become a hero to the worst people in politics. The Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, a British organization, worked up plans to protest Albanese’s arrival.
But the protest never happened. The Telegraph explained why: Security officials picked up chatter on social media apps in which locals were very plainly making plans to attack the Jewish demonstrators. “Can’t wait to give the welcome they deserve,” said one resident, to which another—who had been using anti-Semitic lingo in the chat—responded: “Amsterdam-style.”
Peloni: The extensive political and educational control exercised by Qatar alongside its longstanding support of terrorism defines Qatar as a formidable enemy. Of course, the political capture wielded on behalf of the Qatar in the West stands as the lynchpin by which it maintains its prominence while pursuing its continued control over the West, and it is here that the West must begin to react to regain both their sovereignty and their sanity while dealing equitably with the Qataris.

As Trump’s return to power becomes a vivid reality, a revealing drama is being played out on the global stage. First came reports, sourced to senior Biden administration officials, that Qatar would expel Hamas leadership from Doha. Within hours, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry contradicted these claims, insisting Hamas’s office would remain open as “a channel of communication.” This wasn’t diplomatic confusion – it was a masterclass in Qatar’s sophisticated influence operations, demonstrating exactly why this tiny Gulf state represents such a unique challenge to Western interests.
Peloni: This was an important briefing, detailing the parameters under which any deal might be struck in Lebanon, but more importantly reminding the world that the real source of aggression lies in Tehran and until the source is eliminated, the deal with Lebanon will require an ongoing state of acting on intelligence as needed to prevent the rise of a new terror army in Lebanon.

Peloni: The obvious need of judicial reform has made itself apparent in every phase of Israeli society and most particularly throughout the war.
Gantz slams Levin’s call to resume reforms – ‘they play a role in how we reached October 7’

Two flares were fired at the private residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea on Saturday evening. Although Netanyahu was not at home, and no one was injured in the incident, Justice Minister Yariv Levin used the incident to call for a resumption of the controversial legislation which led to massive protests last year.

According to Israeli intelligence, more than 450 terrorists belonging to terrorist organizations in Gaza, mainly Hamas, are also employed by UNRWA. As he heads for the exit, President Biden is easing sanctions on Hamas and Hezbollah — while sanctioning Jews in Israel.
Under pressure from Israel-bashing critics, including scores of congressional Democrats, a president who stood firmly behind Israel after the Oct. 7 massacre seems to have lost his moral compass.
And just as President Barack Obama in his last months in office allowed the UN Security Council to pass a resolution slamming Israel, Biden may use sanctions to further turn the screws on the Jewish state in his lame-duck stretch.
Peloni: Trump’s victory is in fact a point of revolution which will be strongly resisted over the next four years but whatever victories might be achieved in that time will be felt over the next several generations.

People are out and about, smiling at each other. It’s been true since the morning after the election, the results of which defied every prediction. Who doesn’t like to see the smug elites who have ruled the world for five awful years taken down a peg?
More than that, there are hints of a return to sanity. Mainstream advertisers are suddenly returning to X, putting their economic interest above their tribalist loyalties. The editor of pro-lockdowns Scientific American, which had long blessed totalitarian measures as true science, has resigned.

A few days ago I went to a lecture at a Synagogue in Montreal called, “The American Elections and What It Means for North American Jewry and Israel,” by Professor David M. Shribman, a Jewish Montreal born dual citizen of Canada and the USA, distinguished professor of politics, with an impressive academic record as well as experience as a political journalist.
