When useful idiots of the West kowtow to or appease jihadist leaders, it sends a wider message to all jihadists about how they will react to jihad violence within their own countries, and about how they can be manipulated in order to get money.

As the fourth round of negotiations between the US and Iran approaches, a barrage of conflicting statements, reports, and analyses continues to emerge—many riddled with inaccuracies. These stem either from a lack of understanding of technical details or from a deliberate desire to maintain ambiguity and prolong the talks.
Peloni: Never before in history has such a standard been required of any nation as has been required of Israel to care for the safety, security and feeding of those who have made war upon them.

Peloni: Rule by AI is the ultimate consequence of the tyranny of experts, but democracy should restored such that rule of the corrupt will be replaced with the rule of the governed, not to the rule of AI.
Large swaths of federal workers being terminated does not mean the end of government involvement in our lives. It just means you’ll no longer have humans making decisions that affect your life.

Many of us voiced concerns when Elon Musk said he was going to eliminate large numbers of federal workers.
Peloni: It is interesting that Trump pulled Dr. Janette Nesheiwat’s nomination one day before her confirmation hearings were to begin. So now that we have seen the confirmation of the former advocate of mRNA shots halted, might we soon see the Covid shots themselves halted, as they currently remain on the mandatory child vaccination schedule?
Also, something shared in other reports regarding Dr. Means is that she was significantly involved in the negotiated alliance between Trump and RFK during the last election season.

President Donald Trump is nominating Dr. Casey Means for the position of surgeon general after pulling Dr. Janette Nesheiwat’s nomination, Trump announced on his Truth Social account Wednesday.
Peloni: The victories in Judea & Samaria have been largely overshadowed by the successes in other fronts of this war, but they have been significant.
Peloni: Freedom of the seas for all but Israel? Trump said the Houthis had “capitulated”, but this doesn’t this sound like capitulation. The Houthis are in fact taking a victory dance as they explain that it has been the US rather than they who have conceded.

The Houthi rebel group was quick to note that the ceasefire deal between it and the United States does not include Israel.
Peloni: Such a change in policy is long overdue. Sovereignty, respect, and innovation have each been sacrificed on the alter of US investment in Israel, mislabeled as ‘aid’. While this investment has had a force multiplying benefit for the US, the investment has been weaponized against Israel on many levels and at many key moments over the years.
New initiative aims to replace traditional military aid with joint innovation, equal footing, and long-term independence.

In a bold move to redefine its relationship with the United States, Israel is preparing to phase out traditional foreign aid and instead embrace a new strategic model centered around joint investments and innovation. The effort, spearheaded by Likud MK Amit Halevi, seeks to move Israel from dependency to partnership replacing aid with mutual benefit and sovereign control.
Peloni: Honickman addresses the matter of the crisis surrounding the hostage crisis in the most accurate fashion possible. The simple reality is that while the tragedy surrounding the hostages can never be ignored, it can not be allowed to dictate national strategy. The attempt to manipulate Israeli strategy based around the fate of these victims was in fact the very reason why they were taken in the first place, and thus far, this fact has hobbled Israel’s response to the October 7 slaughter and the months long missile attacks from Gaza. While including the return of the hostages as one of the war aims was inevitable, it nevertheless should never have been made the primary war aim. It is time to end the war, not thru negotiations, and not in surrender, but in an overwhelming effort to effect a final victory over Hamas.
The hostage dilemma we can’t keep avoiding. We are doing everything we can to bring them home — and we must continue to do so. But we cannot destroy Israel in the name of saving it. Opinion.
