An archaeological excavation in Arnona, Jerusalem, has uncovered what appears to be evidence of the economic impact of Sennacherib’s military campaign on the Kingdom of Judah, the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) announced on Wednesday.

The excavation discovered “two superimposed administrative buildings,” as well as “more than 180 stamp impresses store-jar [sic] handles with Hebrew script.”

• Palestinians have a custom of celebrating in the streets every time Israel is attacked or a Jew is murdered by terrorists.
• It is hard, if not impossible, to find one senior Palestinian official who is willing to criticize his own people for celebrating terrorist attacks. It is also hard, if not impossible, to find one senior Palestinian official who is willing to condemn the October 7 atrocities and massacres against Israelis. The 2024 election may be in the foreground, but in the background, the Biden-Harris administration is moving its ‘Revenge’ plan for Israel forward.

Like its Obama predecessor, becoming a lame-duck administration frees Biden-Harris personnel to live out their dreams of going after Israel in the remaining months. Even assuming Kamala takes power, there will be a shift of personnel. And if she doesn’t succeed in seizing power, the frenzy to do as much damage before a new administration begins reversing its anti-Israel policies will be that much more urgent.

“I say this as someone who’s known her since 1997: She’s trying,” Hala Hijazi assured a panel at an anti-Israel DNC event that once she was president, Kamala would crack down on Israel.

Hijazi, a Jordanian immigrant who has roots in Gaza, is close to Kamala and they both came up through the ranks together. The Muslim official and fundraiser had worked as a special assistant to former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown whom she described as a “mentor”.

Peloni:  It must be recalled that Europe, not America, will feel the greater effects of the NATO overreach in Ukraine.  The faux threat from Russia on the eve of the Ukraine war was always avoidable, even after the war began, yet the very real slaughter which came as a result of NATO pursuing its bad faith negotiations crafted in the guise of the Minsk Accords will have longstanding implications for the NATO members, with its American member now being even less charmed with its oversized role in the alliance and thus likely leaving its European members with a very real potential of facing any real threat in the future on their own.

For Hamas, if the families of the hostages succeed in getting Netanyahu pushed out of office, so much the better: he will likely be replaced by a “peace” coalition who will grant massive concessions to Hamas and allow it to stay in power.

T. Belman. Amir says that Israel’s goal is to destroy Hezbollah rather than the limited goal of returning Israelis to their homes. This is similar to our goal of destroying Hamas in Gaza.

He also said that we are now readying for war with Iran. He said we are in a race for time to destroy the nuclear facilities. But he didn’t say that we are going to bomb them. Instead he mentioned Regme change.

T. Belman. I hated the interviewer but loved Barkat’s clarity.  He said that our goal is to dismantal and get rid of Hezbollah just as our goal is to dismantal and get rid of Hamas.

He said he differed with Smotrich who wanted to keep Gaza. Birkat said he wanted another Dubai in Gaza living in peace with Israel. In this, I’m with Smotrich.

Peloni:  This story has now come full circle, from Qa’ani being with Nasrallah’s replacement when they were bombed by Israel, to him being alive and reported to soon be receiving an honorary award from Khomeni at some point in the future, and now that he is under house arrest and suffering a heart attack while being questioned about collaboration with Israel.
