Raylan Givens tweeted the following:
IDF MOVES INTO SYRIAN BUFFER ZONE: The IDF has launched a limited ground operation in the Quneitra buffer zone area of Syria in order to strengthen the defense of the border.
Furthermore, in accordance with the assessment of the situation in the Northern Command and the Home Front Command, it was decided that in the four Druze settlements in the Golan Heights there will be no school classes today.

Without the oppressive ruling mullahs, Iran could once again be a force for good, both domestically and globally. Freed from their brutal rulers, the Iranian people could channel their immense talent and potential into rebuilding their nation as a thriving hub of innovation, culture and prosperity. Peloni: While the defeat of Obama’s plan of Iranian domination was due to the combined efforts of both Netanyahu and Trump, it was Obama’s initial failure to destroy Israel which led to the undoing of Obama’s vision for both the Levant and the US. As Badran explains, the root of Obama’s failure was seeded by the vision and geopolitical mastery of Bibi Netanyahu. While Bibi lacked the political strength and foresight to avoid October 7, it was his Master Class skills which initiated the implosion of Obama’s pro-Iran shift in America, as it was his leadership which has dealt the Mullah controlled Iran its greatest blow to date. While personally confronting Obama’s un-American and anti-Israel stance from both Jerusalem and Washington, it was this statesmanship which sounded the clarion call confronting Obama’s diabolical vision, and we are currently witnessing the collapse of that pro-Iranian shift in America today.

Peloni: In fact, I would be greatly surprised if Assad had not made his escape from Syria some days ago. Notably, the report of Assad’s supposed demise came hours after Trump posted his opposition to any support of Assad’s regime.
Also, while the victory of the Turkish backed Jihadi rebels will significantly diminish the Iranian radical Shia axis’ control over Lebanon, severing Iran’s land bridge to that failed state, the rising threat from the Turkish radical Sunni axis should not be ignored. While less threatening than the wealthy, oil rich, near-nuclear state of Iran, the nature of these Turkish backed Jihadi villains should be understood to be both real and significant, for Israel and all those who are within easy reach of this disturbing ideology. While many of the captured masses in Syria seem oblivious as to the fate which they are currently celebrating as the ‘freeing of Syria’, they will come to see that their current plight is still nothing about which to celebrate and that Syria still remains yet to be free. Unfortunately, Syria has simply been passed from the dominating control of one colonialist Islamist regime to another. So the call to free Syria still remains to be fulfilled, and that struggle will continue.

BEIRUT —
Syrian government appears to have fallen in stunning The Syrian government appeared to have fallen early Sunday in a stunning end to the 50-year rule of the Assad family after a lightning rebel offensive.
The head of a Syrian opposition war monitor said President Bashar Assad had left the country for an undisclosed location, fleeing ahead of insurgents who said they had entered Damascus after a stunning advance across the country.
Peloni: Sen. Paterson’s condemnation of the Australian govt mirrors that of PM Netanyahu who states
“The burning of the Adass Israel synagogue in Melbourne is an abhorrent act of antisemitism. I expect the state authorities to use their full weight to prevent such antisemitic acts in the future.
“Unfortunately, it is impossible to separate this reprehensible act from the extreme anti-Israeli position of the Labor government in Australia, including the scandalous decision to support the UN resolution calling on Israel to bring an end to its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, as rapidly as possible”, and preventing a former Israeli minister from entering the country. Anti-Israel sentiment is antisemitism.”

The State of Israel is preparing for the possible collapse of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, as Islamist rebel forces in northern Syria continued their lightning advance by capturing the city of Hama on Thursday and reaching the outskirts of Homs on Friday.
Peloni: It would be an enormous victory for the US, and by extension the world, to officially abandon the libel-borne terminology of the “West Bank” which was in fact imposed on these Jewish Lands after being stolen in 1948 and cleansed of its Jewish population. Continuing the naming of these lands based upon their presumed connection to Jordan is both dishonest and shameful.
By
Early in the second century A.D., the place name of the Roman province called “Judaea” was changed to “Syria Palaestina” (Syria of the Philistines), or “Palestine.” This was done in an obvious attempt to efface the Jewish connection to the land. “Palestine” stuck, but another change the Romans put in place — to rename the site where Jerusalem, by then razed to the ground, had stood — as “Aelia Capitolina,” did not.
Mudar Zahran tweeted the following:
After being informed by higher powers of the decision to remove him, Ali Baba has adopted a scorched-earth policy to ignite a civil war in Jordan, seeking to garner global sympathy by portraying himself as “essential” for Jordan’s stability and Israel’s borders.
As confirmed by our Western sources, Ali Baba has entrusted his criminal intelligence chief, in collaboration with the intelligence service of a newly established Gulf state (not Qatar), to launch a vicious electronic campaign inciting violence against over ten and a half million Jordanians of Palestinian origin. This involves provoking acts of terrorism against them through a massive network of fake online accounts, followed by staging an event within the country to spark bloody strife.
Take LAND from Hamas while they hold hostages!
Thank you @EVKontorovich for bringing this brilliant idea into the conversation, and to Ben Shapiro for highlighting it.

Peloni: The anticipated withdrawal of forces from Southern Lebanon is a serious loss of ground taken at significant costs, but if this arrangement leads to some arrangement in which the real threat from Lebanon is addressed, namely Iran, by extension the elimination of the Iranian threat will be simultaneously addressed.
A road sign in Maroun al-Ras
There is no point in analyzing whether to support or reject Israel’s ceasefire agreements with Hizbullah: they are a done deal. It is clear that given the IDF’s military achievements, it would have been desirable for the agreement to approximate closer to the far-reaching expectations many of us had developed. We would have been happy if the agreement had established a buffer zone, prohibited the return of Lebanese border village residents to their homes, and required Hizbullah to disarm, per UN Security Council Resolution 1559 of 2004. On the other hand, what we achieved is not insignificant, and the agreement is very different from Resolution 1701, on which it is ostensibly based.
Peloni: As Dr. Kedar indicates, there are significant differences between the existing capabilities of the Jihadi radical rebels and the Iranian Mullahs. Whereas Israel will need to remain dilligent against the rising threat emanating from the Turkish backed rebels, the elimination of Iran from Syria will be an enormous victory, and the resulting power shift will lead to both the diminishment of Iran’s prowess in the region, as well as an increased interest in advancing their nuclear program. No matter the outcome in Syria, the threat emanating from Iran must be eliminated with all possible speed.

The Australian government’s refusal to grant a visa to former Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked is outrageous. It’s also incredibly hypocritical.
Australian Immigration Minister Tony Burke has said that Shaked will not be allowed to enter Australia, because she was strongly critical of the Palestinian Arabs in the aftermath of the October 7 massacres and rapes.
Peloni: The ceasefire will only result from an Israeli surrender to return to October 6, or with the defeat of the Mullah regime in Tehran. Any attempt to side step these realities results in mutually exclusive positions which are acceptable to either Israel or Iran, which is precipitated on the presence or absence of an Iranian terror army on Israel’s border.
Fiery but mostly peaceful ceasefire continues.
by
The Biden ceasefire for Lebanon fell apart within 4 days. Officially the ceasefire is holding even as fighting continues between Israel and the Hezbollah Islamic terrorist group.
When is a ceasefire not a ceasefire, but still officially a ceasefire? When it’s a fiery but mostly peaceful ceasefire with terrorists.

We would not expect a sense of quiet across the world, even in the best of times. There are always places of unrest – of political instability, war, etc. But it somehow seems that this is particularly the case now, at least from where I sit here is Israel. From day to day, situations shift, and even among the informed there is scant agreement in assessing the meaning of these shifts.
Looking on the positive side from the midst of the turmoil, there is hope for change that ultimately brings a better world. Change is necessary, but it’s a very hard haul.

Let us focus here on Gaza, a site of great upheaval, where we are continuing to weaken the Hamas presence.
Peloni: This is an important analysis by Sundance. Whereby he explains the context for many choices already made by Trump.

Anytime the professional leftists lose anything, they immediately become victims. Whether defeated in the battle of ideas (retreat to safe spaces), defeated in the field of pop culture, or even defeated linguistically through debate (words are violence). Whenever the professional left loses, they immediately become victims. It’s what they do.
The professional political left, newest version from the Chicago spawn of Dohrn/Ayers, has been waging full combat Lawfare via a weaponized government for the past 16 years. However, Obama/Plouffe were defeated, “their kind” rose again and won the 2024 U.S. Presidential election.
Vile Jew hatred has reared its ugly head in Montreal which has endured the most anti-Semitic hate crimes of any city in North America. Since the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre in Israel, anti-Semitic incidents in Canada have increased by an astounding 670%. Fueled by a progressive leftist agenda, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has done next to nothing to stem the anti-Semitism.
Former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney had remarked that ‘in the wake of the Holocaust… firewalls were thrown up, and the bonfires of antisemitism were for a time reduced to flickering embers. But those firewalls, weakened by the passage of time and willful neglect, have been breached. Cloaked in the armour of free speech, fuelled by hate and stoked by the oxygen of the internet and social media, those fires now burn out of control.’
Peloni: Hazem Alghabra paints a picture in which there is little hope for the Assad’s regime in Syria unless the US enters the war to achieve this outcome, and that the Rebels, despite their radical Islamist nature, are currently gaining popular support as they move against Assad.
