Peloni:  This is a very important article.  It delineates the importance and potentially disruptive power of the Kurds in any deal struck with Iran, not withstanding the fact that any deal struck with Iran will fail.

Hence, it is critical to reflect upon the possibility of a Kurdish-US alliance which might emerge in the wake of the MOU negotiating period should this period come to rendering little to recommend the deal as actually supporting Trump’s designs for the region, which seems likely.

Peloni:  Are these the terms of Trump’s deal with Iran?  Probably not.  Afterall, should we trust Iran, the masters at manipulation and negotiation which they are, to tell us the truth about anything?  No, we should not.  Notably, while it is in Trump’s interest to maximize the success of his deal going into the US midterm elections no matter the reality, the Iranians’ interest lie in shading the deal as a US surrender, again, no matter the reality.  But such as we are hearing now, the terms are described below by Iran, and they are pretty devastatingly dispiriting.  You can expect the attempt to link Lebanon to the Iran deal, which is not included in the essay below to be a major point of contention, but Netanyahu will have a difficult time accepting such linkage, and Washington should stop supporting the Iranian myth that Lebanon is Iranian territory.  It isn’t, and if it is, let us drop all pretense and bring the war to Beirut in full measure.

Update:  YNET reports that Trump is warning Iran that if they launch an attack on Israel which results in an Israeli attack and the peace talks being derailed that he will hold Iran responsible for the consequences which follow.  They are also reporting that Trump is simultaneously condisering additional concessions to Iran if they will sign the deal today.  These could include the lifting of the blockade and restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz.

Peloni:  See Trump’s outrageous response to the Beirut attack at the bottom.  He is once more affirming Iranian suzerainty over Lebanon, and linking Israel’s lack of freedom of action to his negotiation needs with Iran.  Meanwhile Iran has committed to responding to the attack in Beirut, and Trump is simultaneously pressuring the Iranians to not respond too dramatically following which he is pressuring Bibi to not respond at all.

Peloni:  Mahmoud Nabavian is a well known hardliner within the Iranian political establishment.   In a recent comment made regarding the US-Iranian deal, he demonstrated the fact that the Iranians already saw themselves as having won the war, based on the fact that the goals of halting their nuclear program, triggering economic collapse, and causing regime change had all failed to materialize.  Hence, from this perspective, he expresses a sense of cognitive dissidence while trying to grasp why Iran should partake any negotiated settlement at all.  So, as you read his summary of the deal, understand the sense of angst he is actually delivering in being subjected to the severity of the terms as he understands them.  It really is revealing of how complete the Iranians feel the West lost the war, and suggests potential faultlines which may cause the deal, as good as it is for the Iranians, to still meet significant opposition from within the Iranian command structure. Peloni:  Indeed, the alliance between the Liberal World Order of Globalists has used the financing of Islamist factions and Islamist migration to impair and destruct the nation states which formed the previous order based on the Westphalian system of sovereign states.  The invasion of the West could not be so easily subdued without Western financing and Western compliance while all of this took place behind the cloak of secrecy, both within Europe and America (recall the role of feeding Islamic terrorists by USAID and open US borders).  Unfortunately, the question still remains whether having now revealed the role which Western leadership has played in mounting the demise of Western society, can the genie of the Islamist invasion in the West be placed back in the bottle, or is the West on a roller coaster ride to self destruction from which there is no off ramp.  Will the people of Europe and America succumb to the plots of their globalist overlords, or is there a way back to restoring the primacy of liberty and freedom over the yoke of servitude and dhimmitude.  The answer to this question, of course, is yet to be written, and the people of the West, now being made aware of what has been designed for them must choose to either take back their liberties or to hand their newly won second citizen status to the successive generations.

And this isn’t even the only way that the West is bringing on its own destruction.

Peloni:  We are looking at a deal which has either Washington or Iran accepting defeat in the next 60 days.  The backdrop to this is that the Iranians have been emboldened going into this MOU with the perspective that they are in fact winning this war.  Hence, is it likely that they will ultimately bow to Washington’s demands?  Alternatively, is it reasonable to believe that at the end of thee 60 day period Trump will himself further erode the Red line commitment he has announced going into the MOU.  Take note of the fact that the MOU period will expire within a little over two months before the elections in Israel and the US.  Stated otherwise, is it likely that Trump will go into the final stretch of the election having raised the flag of surrender before the IRGC while still calling it victory?  Or is this MOU simply intended to open the Strait of Hormuz, dramatically dropping the price of oil over the critical summer months, with the plan of maintaining the economic chokehold on Iran during this time, keeping China buying US oil and thus supporting the US economy at its own expense, and the potential at the end of the MOU period seeing the US choose between keeping the current conditions in place indefinitely or supporting an insurrection in Iran with US-Israeli air support?  Time will tell, but to be certain, it is going to be an interesting summer.
