‘We must remedy what happened’: Defiant Kari Lake still insisting she ‘WILL become governor’ of AZ

Kari Lake is still hanging in for a fight with election officials over integrity in the Arizona midterm elections, where she is being marginalized even while exposing that many people were denied the ability to even vote- let alone having problems with machines rejecting votes earlier in November.

Lake says she plans on being Governor still.

How the anti-Netanyahu Camp Lost Right-wingers Like Me

T. Belman. Over the years, I posted many articles by Ms Gordon. Then I didn’t hear from her for a long time. Now it appears she is writing for Haaretz. Big surprise.

She admits in this article that she supported Bennett’s government until she didn’t. In her reasons for breaking away she made no mention of the most important one, at least from my eyes, was Gantz’s policies in Area C. Because she is a settler herself, I would have thought that Gantz was a major concern to her as well. Perhaps Haaretz intervened.

I’m a religious Zionist settler, but I wanted to vote (again) against Benjamin Netanyahu. This is how the anti-Bibi bloc lost my vote
By Evelyn Gordon, HAARETZ

First was the deal on a maritime border with Lebanon. Here’s how most rightists saw it: The government capitulated completely to Lebanon, traded tangible assets for empty promises and then, together with its media allies, lied about it.

For instance, this was no “compromise,” as Lapid and the headlines claimed; Lebanon received 100 percent of the maritime territory it initially sought by upping its demands halfway through the negotiations and then retreating to its original demand. Lebanon didn’t “recognize Israel”; both sides signed commitments to Washington, not each other. Israel’s coastal security border (the so-called “buoy line”) received neither Lebanese nor international “recognition”; it was merely acknowledged as the status quo, which can change. Hezbollah has already declared it occupied Lebanese territory.

A New American Ambassador to Jordan, Reactions from the King and Opposition

JaFaJ INTELLIGENCE    November 21, 2022

1. Summary: Jordanian media has recently leaked news about the nomination of a new American Ambassador to Jordan Yael Lempert. A veteran diplomat, Lempert currently serves as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs. The Jordanian media has been welcoming Lempert’s nomination with a “song and dance”, as a sign of Jordan’s king trying to over-welcome and perhaps impress the new ambassador. JaFaJ sources confirm this is all a part of the attempt by the king and queen to secure western support for their son to become King as Abdullah is contemplating early retirement to defuse the restless and angry Jordanian people. The Jordanian opposition on the other hand is more sceptical of the new Ambassador and sees her as just an implementor of Biden’s policies which they see as “unconditional support for Abdullah” at the expense of Jordanians. Despite the drama the Jordanian regime is trying to attach to Lempert’s appointment, she is not expected to trigger any major changes as it will remain business as usual at the US Embassy in Amman.

Why Shas Leader Arye Dery Is the Strongest Politician in Israel’s New Coalition

While others are dominating the headlines with their exorbitant ministry demands, the Shas leader is quietly going about his business – starting with ensuring that he will be able to serve as a minister again

By Anshel Pfeffer, HAARETZ   Nov 21, 2022 9:01 pm IST

If you have been following the last three weeks of negotiations, you may be under the impression that the formation of Benjamin Netanyahu’s new governing coalition hinges on the exorbitant demands of Religious Zionism co-leader Bezalel Smotrich for the most senior of cabinet posts. Smotrich’s delusions of grandeur are certainly a sticking point, but he is not the main figure in the talks. And neither is Netanyahu.

Eight days have passed of the 28 allotted to Netanyahu to form a government, and Likudniks are already speculating that he may have to ask President Isaac Herzog for a two-week extension on his mandate.

Maricopa County’s Election Dysfunction Was More Widespread Than Officials Said, Memo Claims

Daily Caller News Foundation logo

TREVOR SCHAKOHL  LEGAL REPORTER

  • More Maricopa County voting centers saw tabulator or printer issues than officials had announced, according to a memo by an attorney who observed the election process.
  • “It seems very clear that the printer/tabulator failures on election day at 62.61% of the vote centers observed by 11 roving attorneys, and the resulting long lines at a majority of all vote centers, led to substantial voter suppression,” the memo said.
  • “It is certainly safe to assume that many voters refused to wait in such lines, left the vote center, and did not return to vote later,” the memo read. “A survey of the electorate could easily confirm such an assumption.”

Jew-hatred burgeons in the US

by Steve Kramer

Although it’s 55 years since I graduated from college, I still fondly remember my student life being enhanced by my membership in a Jewish fraternity. Today, I might have a different attitude, now that Jew-hatred (some call it antisemitism, a somewhat innocuous term.)  A recent article in the Jewish Exponent describes the multiple incidents of harassment of the AEPi fraternity house at Rutgers, the State University of NJ. (Rutgers has one of the largest Jewish populations of American universities.) Like nearly all the similar incidents on college campuses, the perpetrators were pro-Palestinian students or provocateurs.

Demand for Unvaccinated Blood Soaring

DR PANDA  NOV 21

Demand for unvaccinated blood is surging worldwide. Bacteria, viruses, prions, and parasites can be transmitted by blood transfusions likewise people vaccinated with the mRNA vaccine have the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in their blood. The spike protein (travels the entire body) caused by the COVID-19 vaccination last for months (potentially permanently in the body for those who frequently take booster shots).

There are new blood banks being set up in 18 countries so far, that provide this ‘pure blood’

Report: Compromise reached between Smotrich, Deri, and Netanyahu

T. Belman.  Smotrich got Finance. TOI reported Smotrich “to still get say in West Bank policies”

Yesterday, Smoltich relented and pared down his demands “The specific defense responsibilities that Smotrich demanded to be transferred to him were those relating to civil administration in the West Bank, including taking over COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories) and responsibility for enforcing the law in the West Bank’s open spaces.” We will see how much of that he got.

Ben Gvir  got Min of Agriculture. He may also have gotten Interior Min which was his primary choice.

Religious Zionism chair reportedly drops demand for Defense Min., will receive Finance Min. instead. Deri to receive 3 ministries.

It appears that a breakthrough has been reached in the coalition negotiation meeting between Prime Minister designate Benjamin Netanyahu and Religious Zionism party chairman MK Bezalel Smotrich Monday.

Under the new compromise, Smotrich would waIve his demands for the defense and religious affairs portfolios and would be appointed Finance Minister in the new government.

Smotrich’s ultimate goal

He has mapped out his route to the premiership and will do everything to get there. He is young and he is not in a hurry.

By  Nechama Duek, ISRAEL HAYOM

Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu has described himself as a successful amateur chess player. He has boasted that he managed to force a draw against Natan Sharansky, who is considered an outstanding chess player. But now he is playing against Religious Zionist Party Bezalel Smotrich, who doesn’t play by the rules, and, the way things are looking now, may yet checkmate King Bibi. Read more…

Israel Must Deal With Human Rights Organizations as an Existential Threat, Smotrich Says

T. Belman. This is important. The EU funnels money into these NGO’s to support the Palestinian resistance.

If we knew how to identify them in the early stages we would handle them in a much more effective way,’ Smotrich said at a Knesset conference titled Human Rights Organizations Operated by HamasNoa Shpigel

By Noa Shpigel, Haaretz

Religious Zionism head Bezalel Smotrich said on Monday that human rights organizations are an existential threat to Israel and the incoming government must deal with them by “seizing their funds” and acting against them with legal and security measures.

Smotrich, who has demanded either the defense or finance portfolios as part of coalition negotiations, spoke during a conference hosted by the right-wing activist Ad Kan organization, titled “‘Human Rights Organizations Operated by Hamas” at the Knesset.

Does the Russian-Iranian axis pose a threat to us all?

T. Belman. The article addresses a very important concern but falls far short in analyzing the problem. The authors exhibit a strong bias and have no idea of the complexity of the situation. They don’t even mention that the US and Europe have been courting Iran for at least a decade and how that factors in.

All in all, very unsatisfactory.

Russia’s new reliance on Iran’s weapons indicates a close alignment. Together, they are better equipped to bring the West to its knees.

News broke in October that Russia had purchased kamikaze drones from Iran so they could be deployed in Ukraine. This formed part of the Kremlin’s military push against Kyiv – thus pulling Tehran into the European-centric conflict. While of course much ink has been spilled denouncing the move, few will find favor with Russia’s new fondness for Iranian military hardware and technology. The issue of such a rapprochement between Moscow and Tehran lies far beyond military cooperation, however, and should in fact be looked upon from an ideological standpoint.

Biden ‘objections’ to Israeli policy and ministerial choices, disrespect Israel’s democracy

The White House has no right to dictate the conduct of a democratically-elected Israeli government. Op-ed.

By Morton A.Klein, INN    21.11.22

ZOA head Morton KleinArutz Sheva

(JNS) “Democracy is at stake” was a major theme voiced by President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party throughout the recent U.S. midterm elections.

For instance, during a Nov. 2 speech entitled “On Standing Up for Democracy,” in which Biden accused “MAGA Republicans” of voter intimidation, the president asserted: “Democracy is fundamental. … Democracy is on the ballot for all of us. … Autocracy is the opposite of democracy. It means the rule of one: one person, one interest, one ideology, one party. … Democracy is under attack because … [of the] refus[al] to accept the results of the 2020 election … the will of the people. … Democracy means the rule of the people—not the rule of monarchs or the monied, but the rule of the people.”

Otzma Yehudit: We stopped coalition talks with the Likud

T. Belman. The true col0urs of Likud and Netanyahu are on display for Israelis to see if they had any doubt up to now.  They don’t want to fight for sovereignty, they want a TSS but not right now. Only Smotrich and Ben Gvir are  fighting for Jews who want to extend sovereignty. They are our only hope.  It is now or never.

Otzma Yehudit announces that coalition negotiations have been stopped after Likud refused to give it the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee.

Ben Gvir and NetanyahuSpokesperson

The Otzma Yehudit Party announced on Sunday evening that the coalition talks with the Likud have been terminated.

“Contrary to the earlier agreement, the Likud retracted and now refuses to give the additional minister – for the Development of the Periphery, the Negev and the Galilee – to Otzma Yehudit,” senior party officials said.

When Did Judaism Emerge? Far Later Than Assumed, New Theory Suggests

Vast review finds no evidence that the Torah laws were commonly observed before the second century B.C.E., says Prof. Yonatan Adler. Not all agree

By Ariel David, HAARETZ

When was Judaism born? Tradition says it emerged more than 3,000 years ago at Mount Sinai, when God gave Moses the Ten Commandments and the rest of the laws contained in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible.

Most researchers have long dismissed the Exodus and the revelation at Mt. Sinai as foundation myths – leaving us with the question of how and when the first major monotheistic religion developed. And now a new theory springs a shock.

‘There is no such thing as a Palestinian state. There is only Islam. The political system in Islam is a caliphate.’

BY

Here yet again we see that Islam is at the basis of the “Palestinian” conflict and is constantly invoked by those who support the “Palestinian jihad.” This guy is arguing against a “Palestinian” state not because he is pro-Israel, but because he believes that the entire Islamic umma should be united into a single caliphate, and that nation-states are infidel abominations. This has been the consistent position of Islamic leaders for years, while Western “experts” steadfastly ignore the role of Islam in the Israeli / “Palestinian” as well as in all issues involving Muslim countries. This is foolish and short-sighted in the extreme, and stems from the falsehoods that foreign policy analysts have been told about Islam and Sharia by Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups in the U.S.

New coalition can give Temple Mount back to Jewish people

by Michael Freund, Jerusalem Post  November 20, 2022

Here’s a news item you may have missed which is as revealing as it is risible.

This past Monday, a young Israeli woman named Ofir Dayan visited the Temple Mount. Moved by the experience of setting foot on the site where Jews had longed to return for 19 centuries, she burst into song, proudly offering up a rendition of “Hatikvah,” Israel’s national anthem.

But as patriotism poured forth from her vocal cords in the heart of Jerusalem, Dayan was greeted by an unpleasant and rather unwelcome surprise, when an Israeli policeman asked her to stop.

Likud says Smotrich will not get defense portfolio, even at expense of election

T. Belman. Who will stand down, Smotrich or Netanyahu?  A better question is, why is Netanyahu doubling down on this . Surely, it can’t be to appease the Biden Administration or can it? Could it be that he is ideologically at odds with Smotrich as the sub-title suggests?

I can not believe that  Likud nor Netanyahu would prefer to go to another election. Their threat has no teeth.

The Religious Zionist Party criticizes Benjamin Netanyahu for withholding the position from Smotrich, saying it is “strange” he is vetoing someone “who wants a true right-wing policy in security.”

Right-wing bloc negotiation teams are scheduled to meet on Sunday to continue the coalition talks that have been at an impasse due to disagreements over the role of defense minister.

The role is sought after by Religious Zionist Party leader Bezalel Smotrich, who, according to reports, has been denied his request. Likud officials said that Smotrich will not be appointed defense minister, even at the expense of another election.
