Escalating terrorist and rocket attacks against Israel during Passover are only the first stages in the war of attrition being waged by the “Axis of Resistance” led by Iran.

Tehran’s “uniting the fronts” strategy was devised by the late Gen. Qassem Soleimani, former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force. The current round of fighting is only the first stage in Iran’s phased plan to destroy Israel.

The Axis of Resistance estimates that Israel’s judicial reform debate and its recent crises in relations with the United States have weakened the Jewish state. They believe that the Israel Defense Forces cannot fight simultaneously on several fronts while dealing with tens of thousands of rockets, precision missiles and drones launched across several borders, accompanied by a wave of terror in the West Bank.

A note to my dear readers. I hesitated quite a bit whether to publish the things that appear below because of the panic they might cause in Israel. However, in the Middle East environment, and in particular in Iraq, these things are known and serve as a topic of open discussion among quite a few, so it is impossible for the public in Israel not to be aware of them as well, and in particular that these things concern him, his security and existence, much more than they concern the citizens of Iraq. In addition, these things come up from time to time in the Israeli media, so I decided to bring them up here.

Saudi Arabia, like many other Arab states, had refused to engage with President Bashar al-Assad of Syria for more than a decade after he violently crushed his country’s Arab Spring uprising — bombing, gassing and torturing his own people in a conflict that morphed into a long-running war that is still in progress.

The President pretends to be Catholic but clearly does not live by Catholic tenets.  He supports abortion up until the moment of birth.  This past week, he sent a cease-and-desist letter to the priests who have been ministering to Catholic patients at Walter Reed Hospital.  He intends to contract outside persons to provide Catholic ministry.  While VP, he supported the persecution of the Little Sisters of the Poor for refusing to provide abortion services to their employees. In short, he is about as Catholic and Christian as Nancy Pelosi, another faux Catholic, a classic elitist who has nothing but contempt for actual Catholics, actual Christians.

Yaakov Amidror is a former major general and National Security Advisor of Israel. He was also the head of the Research Department of Israeli military intelligence.

On Thursday, former Israeli major general and national security adviser Yaakov Amidror expressed concerns that war with Iran is becoming increasingly likely and that Israel should prepare to attack Iran’s nuclear capabilities without U.S. assistance.

During an interview with an Israeli radio station, the former general said, “We need to prepare for war. It’s possible that we will reach a point where we have to attack Iran even without American assistance.”

Despite socially conservative religious groups rallying their supporters to elect them, some Republican lawmakers at the state and local levels describe themselves as fiscally conservative and socially liberal. In states like Wyoming, a Republican-dominated state, one analysis from Evidence-Based Wyoming found that around 31 state legislators considered themselves “very liberal,” with all but two having the Republican label behind their name, placing 29 Republicans further to the left of several Democrat state lawmakers.

Well, the Pesach holiday has now come to an end, and we are back to “normal,” whatever that is.

The weather certainly has not been normal. Over the last couple of days, we have had unseasonably winter weather with hail, torrential downpours and flooding.

Real blame goes to Bennett, who saved PA from financial implosion, says Morris Hirsch.

Attorney Morris Hirsch, a lieutenant-general in the reserves who worked in the IDF military court system for almost 20 years, has excoriated the Israeli government for continuing previous governments’ policies of financing the Palestinian Authority.<

Hirsch is also critical of the previous government, claiming that it saved the Palestinian Authority (PA) from financial implosion by giving it funds beyond what it was legally obligated to, but he is scathing in his condemnation of the current prime minister, who has overseen the transfer of billions of shekels to the PA even as Palestinian-Arabs continue to murder Jews and after the PA was exposed as being behind a major push to bring IDF soldiers to face trial at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

I never thought I’d have to face the prospect of witnessing the decline and fall of the United States, the greatest country in the history of the world.  I’ve always felt grateful to have been born in this marvelous nation.  Yet, today, as I woke up and was having my morning coffee, I began to realize that things are changing quickly, and the changes are corroding us from the inside.  Regardless of how I vote, or whether I vote, it seems as if it doesn’t matter, because something evil has invaded this great land, and our lives are never going to be the same.

Neither opposition nor coalition expects breakthrough. Meanwhile, passing state budget is priority.

Senior members of the coalition have stated that judicial reform legislation will not be proceeding unilaterally for at least the first month of the Knesset’s summer session.

According to a report on Kan Reshet Bet, the reason for the delay is that the state budget must be passed by the end of May and it is not feasible to advance two major pieces of legislation simultaneously.
